The cops and robbers? Did wonder if it might be, given the location. Boxer last year wasn't it?murf wrote:Caerphilly was Luke Rowe's brother + mates again.

Re: Best 10 miles TT Time
They interviewed LR before and showed last year's clip. There was definitely one guy in an identical gimp mask and the robber looked like the boxer who I presume is the brother.unc.si. wrote:The cops and robbers? Yes the robber was Luke's brother Matt. The cop was James "Tank" Lewis who rides for NTO as does Matt.

Back to the 23 mins
23'00 would have been 87th in the ToB, admittedly some of those wouldn't have been trying to hard, but it sounds like you could be training with them

Re: Best 10 miles TT Time
Not really that is just a 20mph average, and as it is sea front I suspect it might also have been with a headwind!rossn13 wrote:How's Gazza doing? He's certainly no Achiles but this seems to be a respectable time!?

Re: Best 10 miles TT Time
Fairly easy to achieve really but still respectable for someone that doesn't do a lot of miles. Equates to a 30 minute 10 mile TT, which is sort of your beginners initial target.
24 minutes is 25mph, which is what a good club rider aspires to.

I've got a run out into the wolds where i can easily average 28 to 30 mph with a half decent tailwind. Different story on the way back though

I'm guessing he probably did a there and back 12 mile route. So tailwind and headwind... At least he's doing something other than drinking
Gary Lineker @GaryLineker
