Yeah, I spotted that. Sobering isn’t it, that we spend so long working out what to do. In contrast Stena Bib comes up with a good, well balanced ghost team and he’s the one with a reasonable chance of promotion

I weep for many things, but FPL and side game performance comes fairly low on the list. The definition of fairly low depends how many red arrows I accumulate in one round

Re: ►►FISO Divisional Championships Season 17 2021/22
FranckKessie takes the first Premier league victory, team of the season points and an entry to the divisional championships hall of fame
Stena Bib and his Set n Forget 1 squad have had a a cracking good round to win the Championship and promotion to the Premiership
Well played, a most impressive performance.
Joccki_10, wiseowl65 and wahine also gain promotion to the top flight.
Caf kept Pulpy and Stevieste at bay to win League 1, joining them in gaining promotion are woody71 and 1albert
League 2 was a tight group at the top but HungryHungrySuarez narrowly pipped Malrom to win the league and they will be joined in League 1 by Coryphaeus, Isalla and ajcairns
The National league victor Wizardoffire will be joined in League 2 by Talkie Toaster, Doogal, owenclass and Kris_fiso
The Sunday league FP1990 takes the top place with jimmy ching and eastcentral1 holding off rich225 to take the promotion places.
Congratulations to the winners and those promoted, commiserations to those relegated, there are 6 more rounds of entertainment to play out this seson so sty tuned for the next exciting instalment
Edit - scores added before FPL had done the autosubs, now corrected ( I hope as not 100% fit atm)

You do have an impressive Divisional record in recent seasons and also going well in the main gameRuudTheDudeVanTheMan wrote: ↑19 Oct 2021, 06:50 Feels like I've been very close to winning this a few more times in the last year or so but really I'm just happy to be in contention. Just playing devils advocate here , have you considered playing the divisionals tactically ? I see you have not taken any hits so far this season and well played for that but - hits do not count in the first GW of each round here! Set up a 5 week Divisional blitz to win a round with a few well chosen transfers and hey presto, bragging rights and an entry in the FISO hall of fame
I am sure not many would sacrifice OR in the main game but this is the Divisionls
Sitting here at home feeling like poo and waiting for the result for the COVID swab to come back

Re: ►►FISO Divisional Championships Season 17 2021/22
Wow, just landed my first 1st price in the prem. Have been looking forward to this moment (hoping that it would come).
It is fair to say that the foundation of my victory was my GW7 WC. I haven't calculated the gain but suspect it is at minimum 40 points. I was actually rather frustrated that I had to play it that week as my team was setup nicely until my entire playing defence got injured at the same time.
Once again I need to thank ONZ for running this lovely format. Enjoy it a lot. Also big congratulation to all those who managed to earn promotion, with Stena Bibs set and forget team of cource being the eye catcher. Remarkable performance

Yeah It's an option but part of the reason I've doing okay overaĺl is not taking hits so I'll just stick with it I'd say. Not that I wouldn't ever but try to avoid it where possible.Oxford NZ wrote: ↑19 Oct 2021, 07:37Just playing devils advocate here , have you considered playing the divisionals tactically ? Well done FK, couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
Was just glad to avoid relegation myself. Might take a rare -8 this week and see if it helps me go for a promotion this time. And thx to ONZ as usual. Hope you are feeling better.
