Merry Christmas to you too :) Nice to see you at the top of the table and having a good GW.
Thiago nailing the 9th min header that I was banking on for Kurt was not the GW I was looking for but hey ho, a Chelsea win and some clean sheet points for Kurt is not too bad though.
Now Chris wood is scoring again I am looking to book Charlie Taylor for a few points soon, unless someone else gets in first :)

GW15 table below

Another top scoring week from mogwai. Many of the big name players didn't return above basic scores.

The gameweeks come quick and fast - will the risk of rotation impact the competition going forward.

I just picked Bruno Fernandes, who I didn't had in my FPL squad. For GW16 I picked him the third time in a row.

My strategy atm: Picking those players I don't have in my FPL squad. This seems to be good for Pick Quick.

GW16 update

Image

Top score this GW by Kongomongo.
Postponements the main source of grief for many players this week.

I am considering amending the rules so that you can re-chose if your fixture is postponed as I'm sure this won't be the last time this happens this season. Or should that just be the (un)luck of the game?
Any thoughts or concerns regarding this please let me know.

Hi Velcro. Thanks for running this, personally I think we should stick with who we picked and not change for cancellations or no shows. The name of the game is pick quick, having a second stab later changes the nature of the game so you would have to change the name to top pick.
Thanks again :)

Agree with Oxford NZ as well. Let's say if:
- the last fixture of the GW is postponed, and there isn't any more fixtures to re-choose OR
- the 2nd last fixture is postponed, but not every affected manager is available to re-choose
How will these be resolved? :|

I would say no re picks too. Picking quick is the name of the game but there’s an element of risk in the game to picking the best player early.

GW17

Image

Pick of the week is of course From 4 Corners with his Tierney choice - good work!
Some unlucky picks again this week by 17days and albionjulie, better luck next time :)

It's tight at the top.

Having read through the feedback on the cancellations, we'll keep the game as it is.

The battle for the meagre GW18 gems will commence soon, but who knows when? Well I do obviously, but I won't use this to my (total) advantage.

Happy new year everyone!

GW18 results are in

Image

A stunning performance from myself knocks me down the third as mogwai takes over at the top.
Top marks of the week for Ironfist with the Foden choice.

Jobmeister is making a late run for the title with an opening bid of 2 - can he make up the 115 points over the next 20 GWs??

Should be seeing some big scores in the DGW19 that could shake things up a bit.

Stay safe everyone!

Having started to prep the scores this evening, I have realised no-one has any Villa or Newcastle players so I've been able to complete the update for this GW.

And there's potential controversy this week!!!
But firstly onto the good stuff....
congrats to albionjulie and Albert_ini with top scores of 18

Albert_ini opens up a gap at the top.

And so to the controversy. So TBL opted for Snodgrass. Unfortunately the submission was within 90 mins of his first game so by the rules set out that appearance does not count.
TBL was then hit by the 'gentlemans agreement' meaning there was no appearance in his second game against his former team. Sorry fella :(

The GW20 scores are in and the table is as below

Jobmeister continues their late run for the title with this weeks top score of 17 - it's only 106 points to make up now!
Albert_ini holds his lead at the top whilst I close the gap with a solid pick

The gameweeks are coming thick and fast as GW21 is completed

Many players were victims of Pep's rotation (too many of you), picking injured players too early (ONZ) or injuries unknown (Dino)

Top marks to hayesag this week who trusted in Salah still. Maybe he really does play better without Mane.

Jobmeister makes up further ground on many

Well another midweek round in the books
A lot of early picks were for Liverpool players who again did not deliver

Jobmeister must be raging at missing the first 17 weeks of the game. With top score again this week he would likely be romping it.

It's a 3 way tie at the top between Mogwai, albert_ini and myself. I don't think it's been formally declared how a tied score would be separated, so I've gone on the basis of the number of top scoring GWs. Mogwai has that with 4 just now whilst albert_ini and I only have 3 each

Another horrendous GW performance from myself (37 points on my bench, 48 from my first XI) but away from my misery it's the GW23 update!

Jobmeister gets the highest score of the week with his Son choice - 3rd week in 4 they've topped the GW score
Mogwai breaks the 3 way tie at the top

Couldn't believe I am still first in this?

I only picked a player now, James Rodríguez, who playes tomorrow. It would be a surprise if he'd scores well, but you never know.

My thoughts are far away from football in these days.

So GW24 has been and gone.
As you'd expect a lot of the picks were for the doublers, especially Man City.
As you always expect from Pep there was rotation and the injury to Gundogan.

Still, Gundogan's phenomenal first match gave dino1980 the top score of the week.

Jobmeister's surge up the table came to a screeching halt with the early pick of DCL who then missed the whole GW - unlucky

Not much change at the top, but those just behind the top 3 close the gap a little. Mogwai still leads the way.

Another double GW coming up and the picks for Leeds & Southampton players could be the key this week!

GW25 is in the books

With Leeds & Southampton having the double there were a few picks from those teams. I of course picked the wrong Leeds player and those who took Southampton weren't in luck either.
FingerPass took the right option though by going with Dallas and achieving the top GW score of 17

Mogwai stretches his lead at the top with an ever solid Bruno option
Jobmeister didn't make a pick this week, the wheels may truly have come off.
It's also a welcome back to my former FISO 5AS Xpert11 teammate Richt with his first pick since GW11

Image

Lots of DGW choices for GW26 - I've not picked yet this week, maybe I have left it too late this time.

The biggest DGW of the season brought in quite a few double digit returns for many of you this week

OxfordNZ had the top score of 17 with their Richarlison choice - well played

No real change at the top as mogwai and myself got the same score. Still a bit of a gap for mogwai to maintain

Ralfbergs must be overjoyed to have clarified the Barnes pick to secure that single point - unlucky

GW27 is in the books

Many of you opted for Manchester City players with their double this week. No-one gave Southampton players a chance.
Some choices worked out well, but quite a few were victims of Pep roulette once again.

Some of us (including me) thought that the Liverpool funk can't go on forever - it certainly looks like it can in EPL terms at least.

Top score of the week goes to mogwai with 20 points from Mahrez - their lead at the top is now a massive 33 points. Can they be caught?
Albert_ini moves up into second with KDB providing 16 points.
The usual notable mention to Jobmeister with Kane returning 19 points so they jump over ONZ into 17th

Image

Onwards to a normal GW round for the first time in ages. Good luck everyone!

Not sure why many of us bothered this week!

Pep roulette, Aubameyang's timekeeping and big names failing to deliver

Kudos this week for albionjulie opting for Iheanacho. with his form being good it was a great choice and got a top score of 17 for the week.
Notable mentions for dino1980 and chris2k_11 with double digit returns too

Onto the threadbare GW29.....
