In the FPL game I'm in the Leeds United fan league this season. After 16 years waiting it's a pleasure to have this occasion finally again. As a Swiss I'm not really a fan of specific PL Team, I have more or less sympathies for the one or the other.

Please find the team scores below, and note that for those with +1 fans the score is based on the average of course.

Sheffield United top the table for the first round, with bossdrum and yorkshiredragon comfortably beating the Wolves contingent of Archy, sstaffsw and The Catman by 26 points.

Some close calls as well, three points in it between West Brom and Leicester City (79-76) and Crystal Palace - Southampton (72-69). Smurphy's Paw couldn't save his new team to support, for the first gameweek at least. Had Joccki_10 flown solo he would have gotten three points on the board for the Saints, but hey, let's hope for them it will work out in the longer run (or not!). Remember, it's a marathon - not a sprint.

xJosh- is getting support from fellow Manchester City fan snout. Together they managed to crush Wolves, who again faced the highest scoring team in the round. Sheffield United last round, Manchester City this round. Let's hope Wolves can find some breathing space next round to start the season.

Sheffield United still hold top spot in the table, having had another good round in which they beat Villa comfortably. Manchester City sits in third place and in second place we see West Ham who only scored three points less than Man City did this round. And do we know who West Ham will face next gameweek? Yep... Wolves is facing one tough run to start the season with.

The Newcastle United team had a good preparation it seems, in the sense of showing consistency as all of them four scored in the 40s. Their 45 points average was just about enough to fend off Brighton (42).

We also experienced our first draw of the season, with Manchester United against Crystal Palace.

Lastly, a shout out to Brightwater for scoring 102 points (yep, happy to call you out when scoring triple digits here - well done). It helped his Spurs get a convincing win against the Saints, just like in real life.
