Congrats billfella, you had an incredible season.
I did feel like Indiana Jones over the final 2 weeks of the season - unfortunately the boulder caught up to me! (Damn Mo Salah for smacking that late shot into the post)
Much thanks to ONZ as well for all the work behind the scenes: super job!

Re: ►►FISO Divisional Championships 2019/20 - thebillfella is crowned champion
The fat lady has sung and it is time for the awards ceremony.
Round 7 winners
thebillfella wins the Premiership in a very tightly contested round with Fuzzy taking second place.
RuudTheDudeVanTheMan wins the Championship with baganboy, bossdrum and Hotpot gaining promotion.
jos wins League 1 with blahblah, coryphaeus, bluenosey and fred1266 gaining promotion.
Stormrider wins League 2 stripes1973, zdren, Brightwater and Mashed Potatoes gaining promotion.
Tel The Goonerwins the National League slowfish, Doogal, nemo7x and noelix gaining promotion.
topspur wins the Sunday League jeffersdn, cwc gaining promotion.
My congratulations to the winners and promoted and commiserations to those relegated. The season has been interesting to say the least and the posts and tables shown in this thread only tell part of the story. My thanks to all who have posted, it has made a long and tough season much more fun.
The google sheet has developed this season and now contains more than just the tables, it is easy to follow the ups and downs of each manager as the season progressed. The chips tab on the sheet is a useful function to see when chips have been played and to what effect.
Round 7 - tables are Here
MoSe used to do a movers and shakers post at the end of the season but the tables show much of that information so I will just comment on a just a few great performances this season.
Starting in the Sunday league hotpot with 4 promotions making it to the premiership for next season.
jos joined the Sunday league in Round 3 and proceeded to make back to back promotions for the next 4 rounds to gain him entry to next seasons Championship.
baganboy winning his first premiership title after fighting his way back in to the top division with successive promotions from league 1, relegation in round 6 followed by a second place finish in the Championship to ensure premiership competition for next season.
Spencer4 and wahine with 3 successive promotions to get back into the premiership.
Stena Bib and Malrom with 3 promotions to get to the Championship. Unfortunately Malrom was relegated this round so starts from league 1 next season.
Stu255 3 promotions to get to League 1 having joined us in round 3
Lots of teams with two promotions and many managing to avoid relegation. Holding places in the premiership all season is no easy task but thebillfella, wiseowl65, Pulpy and Smurphy's Paw have achieved that. Neath boy and Reds363 were relegated in the final round having contested all 7 rounds in the top league.
andybarrell third in the team of the season points behind thebillfella and baganboy having a great season as well.
Many apologies for not writing more but there are loads of great achievements in these divisions immortalised in the tables and thread posts.

Just to echo what others have said on here - great job ONZ. You stepped into huge shoes but this competition goes from strength to strength. I love the way the format gives everybody something to play for however rubbish their overall rank.

Bit disappointing to be relegated from the Prem at the end but still a league above where I started the season so that's progress at least.

Big congratulation with the outstanding result thebillfella! Furthermore a big thank you to ONZ for doing such a fantastic job!
I had one foot in the Premier League with FH to go, but lady luck chose not to smile upon me in the final Gameweek
Premier League participation will be one of the objectives for next season. Thanks all!

Outstanding organisation on this! Gold star!
Gutted to lose my Premier league slot after a good run. The season was going so well until the Covid break!

Oxford NZ: so, so well done. Loved playing this season, and at last got the first sub-season win. Very happy for it. Seems that in all my Divisionals career, my best performances were reserved for the lower leagues.
Thank you for organizing this. Brilliant!
thebillfella - not at all. Brilliant season from you all around. Very, very well played. And to end with a single-digit rank, imagine! Amazing!

Re: ►►FISO Divisional Championships 2019/20 - thebillfella is crowned champion
Thanks MoSe. That FPL 7th place was the 2014/15 season
I think he joined the divisional championships the next year for S11 2015/16 where he worked his way through the ranks to join the Premiership.
He won the first of his two premiership titles in S12 round 1 and also took the team of the season that year as well. His second premiership win came in Season 13 round 1 so he seems to be a quick starter. Having taken a year off this season I hope he signs up again for season 16. I see he is still playing in the 5AS for the Aristocrats and is the leading player in their league this season scoring 2312 points and a 37k FPL rank.
