Not intentional.
Was (and still) doing lots of 'essential work' due to the Corona.
But Tymora smiled upon me and sent KdB to the rescue. Very tight win at the end.

I did a google sheet of what number pick everyone was taking. It was a bit fiddly and I lost interest from lockdown onwards but it showed the differential from what number pick and the league position:

The most obvious conclusion is that i didn't have the patience to do it for the full season.


It was a pretty rough and ready set of data. I couldn't decide how to factor in if someone didn't make a pick - should they take the last number (so 19 if 18 had actually made a pick) to ensure everyone has a number each week or disregard the non picks entirely (meaning their average was only their average of the picks they made). To see who is performing best against the #pick then i think you have to assign everyone a pick number each week.

What it did show was that picking first doesn't mean you win!

Richt was ranked 1 for when he picked but 7th in results. Ralfbergs outperformed his Pick rank (11th) the most in 3rd with his points.

There are probably errors in the formulas somewhere as a few of the result don't look right - if it's of interest I can tidy it up and do it next season

I think it's interesting and thank you for this.
If not too much hassle, next season analysis would be great.

yea cause since i was running it i have gotten the last pick and i think my lowest position has been 5the
