FISO Spring League is back for season 9! Champion Isalla is bidding to defend the Spring League title he won in May, and the managers joining him in the top flight include divisional winners BobMem, Ctibbits and The Real Slim Shady. There has been a big change in the membership over the summer, with many of the current regular posters joining play for the first time. Shevchenko, Ajcairns, 1Albert and Beerfuelledman also qualified via the FISO Cup.

Format

Spring League divisions work under this format:

* 16 teams playing each other once (15 games)
* Top 8 qualify for the play-offs (3 games)
* Starting Gameweek 21 (15+3)
* Four divisions - the Super League and three 'streamed' divisions
* The winner of the Super League is the official Spring League champion and will qualify automatically for the finals of next season's FISO Cup
* The winners of the 'streamed' divisions will have the division named after them next season
* All four 'regular season' divisional winners plus the next best three managers in each division will qualify for next season's Super League
* New from 2018/19 - Licensing - All managers who fail to qualify for next season's Super League will have to pass the licence criteria to keep their place in the competition for next season. They must make one post in the FPL boards in each month of the season (August to May inclusive, not including sidegame entry posts), unless they run a sidegame in the 2019/20 FPL season.

The 15 counts as both Classic and Head to Head leagues, so you still have 15.

I think it was the public/private 3/15 thing as there was definitely 15 on the classic league list plus one in the H2H. I must have left a public league. I binned off another one and am now sorted. Cheers Taca.

All praise to TT for stepping up to admin Fiso H2H this season, and coming up with a new sidegame format.
IIRC I even posted somewhere that I "love" him as sidegames admin.

But.
Aren't we posting sidegames entry lists in almost all Fiso sidegames? at least since I came here in 14/15, and I'm sure it was done long before my arrival.

RPG does it for 5AS, which you play.
I always did it for Divisional (although this season I moved it online, as you did it yourself with the Fiso Cup).
Jeffmcgow does it. Several others do it more or less consistently.

I think it should be a default feature, in all sidegames, especially those who don't have a sidegames league (and even in h2h leagues it's nice to know who's who).

And I'm sincerely surprised you only first noticed an entry list in this season TT's Swiss Cup

Sorry, I was just giving a sideways thanks to him as I've found this season I've been going to the Swiss Cup thread when needing to quickly access teams, the way his laid it out has brought to my attention the need for it when viewing on mobile, and it's something I really should have included in the FISO Cup thread and will do so in future.

Anyway, not wishing to see a good nod go to waste hopefully this may be of some use to you.

While doing the H2H Leagues and the Draft Divisionals, I've been able to work out how fpl arranges the fixtures for the H2H games and put it into a spreadsheet.

If you have no other use for it we can at least see what the 1st week's fixtures are before the first matches are played.

N.B. The fixtures are dependent on the order in which teams joined the H2H League, so if somebody leaves and then rejoins the league before it starts then these fixtures will be wrong. The 'Leagues List' tab will need to be updated with the new order to correct it.

I wouldn't normally post tables for the first week, but as there are so many new faces in the league, I thought you'd like to see it - Score Centre

I'll do catch ups during the rest weekends of the FA Cup, though for now what we can say is Mick, Snakkz, Smurph and Wonky have got off to the best of starts. Three draws out of the 32 games and I'm sure a particularly miffed Beerfuelledman, who posted 61pts but still fell to an opening day loss at the hand of fellow moderator Moist von Lipwig!
