Re: FISO Cup 2018/19 - GW13 Results + GW14 Fixtures - Stemania out, 1Albert in by a transfer, F4c top GS scorer
If Hazard, Robertson, Van Dijk and Richarlison are going to outscore Alonso, Shaqiri and Coleman by 23 points, I will be a very happy man.

GW14 RESULTS + GW15 FIXTURES >>> FISO CUP RESULTS CENTRE
Since we've a quick turnaround for the midweek fixtures, I'm off work next week, I've pushed out results for the Round of 16 ties in double quick time.
There were two single point victories, both of which involved our Alberts. Portugese Albert_ini finished up just in front of Wiseowl65 to make it to the last eight for the second year running, in no small part due to Felipe Anderson's last kick goal on Saturday, and now goes on to face Tacalabala, revelling in his 82pts this weekend which sees him rocket up to the heady heights of 132 in the world, leaving Bluenosey with no chance in their head-to-head.
1Albert joined his namesake in the quarter finals, seeing off Droughton also by 1pt. Droughton was only able to field 10 men as 1A enjoyed Doherty's second strike of the season. Next up for 1Albert is Beerfuelledman, who put Spencer4 to the sword by a convincing 13pt margin this weekend.
Jobmeister's defeat of Ajcairns was just as comprehensive, and but for Origi's strange late winner on Merseyside, would've enjoyed a rare six clean sheets from a back five. Moist von Lipwig provides his opposition in the quarter finals, after cruised past a disappointing Blahblah without even needing a full complement of players following Ageuro's no show.
Ardrageen, despite being losing his top placing overall to Taca, remains the defending champion and still looks every bit the favourite as he pulled through in a relatively low scoring affair with Indonesian Shevchenko. He must get past From4corners midweek, after he took the glory in the all-Dutch clash with Joccki_10, no small thanks to the hottest property in FPL right now, captain Raheem Sterling.

FISO Cup 2018/19 - GW15 Results
GW15 RESULTS + GW16 FIXTURES >>> FISO CUP RESULTS CENTRE
Taca sad, sad, sadly is eliminated after a run of 14 straight H2H wins came to an end on Wednesday. Despite Taca's trio of substitutes coming to his aid with 15pts in what was a challenging Gameweek for everyone, it wasn't enough to get past Albert_ini, as the the man from Portugal will feel he's still in with a big chance of the Cup as his switch to Kane from Aguero paid off.
The other Al, 1Albert, captained Kane and cruised to victory over Beerfuelledman, whose front three of Aubameyang, Arnautovic and Wilson could only manage a single goal. The Alberts could meet in the final for a rematch of their group stage coming together, but they have the toughest of opposition to overcome in the semi finals.
10pts separate 1Albert and Jobmeister ahead of their head to head in the last four. Job hammered Moist von Lipwig by 24pts in the midweek, MvL not helped in the slightest by Shane Duffy's red card against Crystal Palace in a game Brighton actually went on to win.
Most ominous for the other semi finalist though is the continued presence of Ardrageen, looking for what I believe will be the first successful defence of the FISO Cup in either the original or current format. It was the the subs what won it for Ard in his last eight clash with From4corners, Jimenez and Murphy coming on to contribute a much appreciate 14pts for the Irishman.

1Albert doesn't deserve to win beating 10 men by 1 point!
Come on Jobmeister!
Still rooting for Ardageen overall

FISO Cup 2018/19 - GW16 Results
GW16 RESULTS + GW17 FIXTURES >>> FISO CUP RESULTS CENTRE
Ardrageen's defence of the Cup is over! A woeful Gameweek for the Irishman concluded on a score of just 38pts, well behind Albert_ini's outstanding 96pts, helped in no small part by Salah and Anderson.
Jobmeister joins the Portuguese in the final, after he achieved 92pts with a fantastic 43 coming from his back five, ten of which were gifted by Digne's following last night's two-all draw between Everton and Watford. 1Albert now plays Ard for third place, Albert_ini and Jobmeister contest the 2018/19 FISO Cup Final.

FISO Cup 2018/19 - ALBERT_INI WINS!
GW17 RESULTS >>> FISO CUP RESULTS CENTRE
This season's FISO Cup came to a close this weekend with the final between Albert_ini and Jobmeister. Neither took a hit, nor played a chip, setting up a straight fight for the title. It started well for Al with his Sane outscoring Job's Sterling, and frankly he never looked back with Jimenez's man of the match performance against Bournemouth proving the difference between the sides.
It's a well deserved victory for Al, having beaten four top 5k opponents in the knockout rounds to lift the trophy, bringing ol' big ears to a new home in Portugal after residing in Ireland, Netherlands and England since its comeback.
The fight for third went the way of the other Albert, 1Albert who claimed a big win over Ardageen with a score of 65pts for the week, sporting both Sterling and Sane... that's just greedy
Thanks to all 140 managers who competed this season, it's been great... but then I would say that wouldn't I

Re: FISO Cup 2018/19 - ALBERT_INI WINS!
Absolutely thrilled to have come third in such a prestigious competition. A lot of luck of course, but thats fantasy football.
Congratulations to Albert_Ini, who as usual displayed his pedigree. Elsewhere, I have played H2H against him for several seasons now and seldom get the better of him. He's a top fantasy manager. Ironically I play him in the next gameweek 18.
And thank you to Taca for running an excellent competition.

What a lovely first Christmas gift!
Well played Jobmeister, in the end it was the difference between Jimenez and Kamara points.
Thank you Taca for running this very enjoyable and tough competition, well done by all that reach the latter stages.
Cheers all for your kind words and good luck 1albert for our next h2h, wasn't aware you're also in that other league!
