Oooh - my sort of game. The budget does look interesting - given that all categories carry the same point weighting yet budgets seem to have all the Moto Gp boys overpriced. Clearly an opportunity for some knowledgeable chaps to come in and clean up (not me then!)

The budget is relative - the price spread of MotoGP riders (Rossi - McWilliams = 1.1m) is less than that for WSB and BSB. This corresponds to the fact that MotoGP has fewer races.

The budget is admittedly challenging, and forces a couple of 'budget buys'. However, a bargain or two soon becomes apparant after just a couple of rounds.

The trouble is we dont have transfers in our works league (i kid you not we have a works superbike league) so i dont have the luxury of watching a few races.

Last year i skimped on Moto GP and it didnt work too well. Mind you if i had have stumbled into Hayden i would have won so maybe it is the way to go!

I got my team in fine in the end, and after sending a message via the site I had a very prompt and polite response from an FL person.
It seems that the Fantasy Road Race site was temporarily unavailable whilst testing was in place (admittedly not the best time for this to take place, but there you go!)

However, you should now be able to log-in and register.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

If they stop the game now, I'll win 1/64th of a great Bike

I'm surprised there's more than 4000 entries...is this the usual amount for this game...Anyone?

I did play it last year but can't remember how many entered.
I was doing quite well right up to the last game round. I had planned my transfers to maximise the points opportunities only to find the race calendar had changed from the original one I'd copied and pasted from the site.

Very impressed at the speed of the points update

There are still 102 teams in joint 1st place.
It'll change next week when the MotoGP boys make a start.

Thank you Mr batliss..some real FRR points at last...I've gone for Edwards and Barros in MotoGP in all my teams, price restriction makes it tricky to improve on them and have balanced BSB selections as well as the top guys from WSB...

Agreed on the points update, couldn't believe it when I looked this morning...Well done Mr Green et al...

Good luck

John

Cheers. To be fair, it's possibly the easiest of all our games to update!

However, be warned that there may be a longer delay with the update this weekend - the MotoGP race takes place Saturday lunchtime, but should still be no later than mid-afternoon.

Pole sitter Troy Bayliss skidded out early on while leading race one and lost most of the little finger on his right hand as a result of the crash
