Awful day for me too: just 15 points for Generals and the best any of my three could manage was 17 from ISO. :(

I don't think much more could have gone his way today! As I see it, the top of the leaderboard will probably be back to a tie tomorrow morning... I still have you as favourite MV, though not by nearly as much as this morning :(
Good luck tomorrow!

Sorry to hear that... you've made such a fast run up the leaderboard over the last 4 or 5 weeks I was starting to wonder if you'd stop... still, it's not over yet...

Pretty much how I see it... although maybe he'll have a slight lead over me by between 1 and 5 pts...
On the plus side though... I put a little money on Bent and Dindane scoring today LOL

Better day for me today: 65 (Generals), 67 and 69 (ISO). :)

Nice work!

I hope you had another couple of similar flutters today though, as I believe Pigeon has got himself a 20 point lead (+/- 4) after this afternoon's events :(

Sunday scores: Min 45 pts, average 52 pts and high 65 pts
Mindvampire6 scored 48 pts... probably as much as 20 pts less than Cold Pigeon in my worst-case scenario for today :(

67pts for me from top team, currently 72nd & hopeful of moving up. Gerrard has finally come good & hopeful Lennon will get a couple of assists in the last few games. Shame the Drog only got me 16pts today, was hoping he would have nabbed a couple in a 7-0 home win!
Still got 4 players who maybe out for the season so need the rest of the team to keep scoring as they are to compensate! Needless to say, all transfers used up about 2 months ago!

Took my boys along to Stamford Bridge yesterday and, as they've seen a couple of fairly comfortable wins in the past, warned them that Stoke would provide a far tougher test. So it took the edge off the victory slightly as I had to field a number of questions along the lines of "I thought you said that Stoke had a good defensive Daddy?" as we headed home with my football reputation in tatters  .

Another place lost for my top side as it slips down to 7th - will the end of the season come soon enough for a top ten finish? Conversely a few of my other teams edging closer to the top ten, but not enough time for them to make it in there!

Made my final 3 transfers in one of my middling sides at the beginning of the week to get rid of injured defenders, bringing in 3 more Villa defenders. And despite transferrring out Dindane a month ago I somehow found myself as manager of the week again pipping TSO's all-conquering MotM team (Congrats TSO if you're still keeping an eye on this forum). Given you can only win one MotW prize should be a pleasant surprise for someone further down the table. Be an even more pleasant surprise for me if my cheque from last month ever arrives  .

Still, better than being a Stoke fan who'd told his boys you had a solid defence before the game :)

Well I just about managed to overcome the poor start to the week of forgetting to set my teams up in midweek  to finally crack back into the top 300. It is almost being credible

I take it everyone else is limping on with various injuries....

Nice one Chocs... I would love it if they changed the rules back to a few years ago… where you were allowed to win up to 3 MOW/ MOTM prizes ;)

Yeh very much so... I have 33 injuries across my 5 super league teams
And with only 8 flanges left... I really need 3 or 4 of my differentiators to step up LOL

Lets all have an injury-off!

MV gets 6.6 (33/5)

Mine (2 teams):
1 Almunia
1 Vermaelen
2 Samba
2 Insua
1 Kranjcar
1 Boateng
1 Torres
2 Rooney

Total = 5.5 (11/2)

(Scharner, Duff and Ricketts only dropped?)

Just checked through mine and I've got 40 injuries (between 1 and 8) across my 10 squads, so I can only manage a 4. Just wish I could say that the 1 was one of my top sides!

The only positive on the injury-fest is that they seem to be spread throughout the positions - 2 of my 10 sides will put out 10 players for the last flange and the rest will have all 11 (ignoring more injuries and players rested).

Sorry to bring it back to the league  but what the hell has Mr Randell been on this month?! He's shot up the table to 4th, scoring 451 points in April: over 100 more than the top 3 have averaged over that time. Kind of reminds me a bit of my own run a few weeks ago, but way better! Now, just days after being 43 points off Pigeon and daring to dream of sneaking second, time to check reality and hope to hold on to third! :|

The Banned United - current position 28th (0 transfers)- sicklist:
Sorensen
Corluka
Insua
Vermaelen
Carvalho
Rooney

ISO AkNotSpur - current position 293rd (1 transfer) - sicklist:
Vermaelen
Rooney

So 8/36 = 22.22% - pity that the injury & transfers left numbers aren't reversed!
