Looks like this has been missed:

Well the starmen looked liked they would come from Drogba, Lampard, Tevez,, Saha, Defoe or Darren Bent, but infact today was the day of the defenders.

If you were lucky enough to pick Bent you have not wasted your starman, but I think there will be many managers who managed to pick a 2 pointer starman.

What a waste of starmen today. Going to Drogba and Kuyt, when I had clean sheets from Given, Reina, Bassong, Hangeland, Carvalho and Isuna.

Hope that no to damage has been done.

Might take a risk today and drop Drogba for Rooney and take advantage of today's game. My only issue is will he play against Leeds Utd next week?

Could have a lot of players next week who are sitting on the sofa at home.

I went Chelsea all the way in the main flange so 2 pointer starmen everywhere, ended up with relatively similar scores of 48 (ISO), 65, 59, 40, 46 from yesterday. Made an Adebayor

Torres move a few weeks back in ISO which hasn't exactly gone to plan, games against Wigan/Pompey/Wolves and nowt to show for it. Typically gone backwards as I've been starring him over Gerrard whilst I still hold both

Anyway.. enough grumbling and hope everyone had a decent Christmas. Loving there being so many games on at the mo, set my teams up until the FA cup as we've got our 2nd baby due any day now and TFFO will be firmly out the window!

Like you and NM, most of my teams scored double 2 for my captain choices yesterday...
In particular I'm hoping for a good performance from Villa today...

Saturdays scores: Lowest 38 pts, average 56 pts and highest 64 pts.

EDIT: And it looks like Drogba will be around for the Fulham game on Monday

Not a bad day for me yesterday, scores of 49, 57 and 77.

I thought the 77 should edge me from 108th back into the top 100 somewhere around 80th, turns out it puts me into the top 50

Only 44 for me - Moved from 16th to 20th.

Had Bassong and Rodders on the bench who scored more than Carvalho and Defoe.

Thanks for the write-up, Ashers, and Merry Christmas to everyone on FISO!

Best score overall was 70, and the worst 40.

My best team somehow managed to crawl up 9 places to 32nd with a score of 56, despite bobbins starman picks. Hopefully today's will be more fruitful.

Reds - I also share your Tomkins shame! Was planning to do Tomkins

Dunne today, but didn't make it out of bed in time

Still, he might go on a run now

Good luck with the baby NM! Best make sure you have those flanges set up well in advance (at which point you'll decide you need to make a transfer and will have to do them all again

).

Really glad I rushed through my teams three minutes from kick off to take Fabregas off star now! Sometimes it doesn't pay to be near a computer at kick-off

Done exactly the same Mike, wish my wife had gone into labour a few hours ago

. Happens every time doesn't it, I did leave him on star in 1 side and a swap to Vermaelen in another, but best 2 sides starred 2 pointers again.

Gonna be some monster scores about, I ballsed up my starmen all weekend apart from the Man U game and still ended up with 118, 95 (ISO), 98, 85, 88. Also pretty chuffed but I reckon plenty of others will be too!

Not alone NM on the 2 pt star man front

Still plenty of time to play the straight bat imho, so no surprises to see most managers get hammered on that note

My 4 teams were steady with most gains made in my ISO team (107) thanks to yesterdays games.

Leading team got 93, so hopefully I maintain my stance in the top 200 after moving into 157th after Saturday.
Other teams with 94 & 102.

Spewing Carvalho has now seemed to of lost his place to a more expensive central defender

(have 0.2mil spare in one team....always the way when trying to avoid 2 transfers for the sake of 1 player

) May just have to cop it as waiting for him to play FA cup games & the odd sub appearance/injury filler is not going to cut the mustard with my teams doing half okay to this point.

I'm assuming you still have 17 players to come

Ended up with 78 (ISO), 72, 49 & 26.

ISO team now moves ahead of my 49 point team & hopefully closer to the top 100 after the next few flanges

Tevez switch in ISO, but wish I'd gone for it in a few more now instead of relying on dud City midfielders, Tevez definitely man of the moment isn't he. Special mention also goes to Johnny Heitinga who after 3 months is no longer showing a minus total score in my ISO side

I hear you about those Man City mids NM. I have SWP in my 2nd best team & I'm starting to feel the pinch a little with his absence, more so obviously in an isolated flange

They have a few more coming up, so fingers crossed he comes good. Tempted to bring Tevez into that squad, but whenever I pull one of those I get burnt big time. It has been happening in ISO since I brought in Torres with Gerrard

Eduardo is the only one I would consider transfering out for Tevez of my 4 strikers, but then I'll have no Arsenal attacking cover & I think Eduardo is slowly finding some form leading up to the FA cup games.

I think I am going to see who is playing on Sat before I remove Drogba. Could earn decent points, by having a player just playing.

I can see the likes of Tevez, Rooney, Defoe, Gerrard, Lampard, Bent, etc all being rested.

Ha ha Worm ... This impressive score was achieved from what should have been 7 players

3 of the wrong Chelsea players and 4 no shows in Distin, Saha, Bridge and Adebayor EEK

I have to say I have no memory of/ or understanding of how Distin ended up in this squad
