You can't do that and not get disqualified though.
Agree about the professional footballer act from the line judge though

Absolutely unbelievable.

All these people to do with the tour making excuses for him & talking about slippery surfaces during the week.

Lucky not to be taken away in cuffs !!!!

Mrs Richt has just seen that clip and her thoughts was that the official geezer clearly has been watching too much football and thinks that rolling around on the floor is the done thing in sport

It was p*issing with blood! You are a heartless bunch. If you watch the spectators immediately behind the judge, they all jump when the kick was made, so it was a loud at full force kick, with the wooden sign pushing directly onto an old boys leg. Shock as well as pain. Give him some slack!

As they said on TV, it wasn't quite Eric Cantona and he didn't intend to injure anyone, but it was real stupidity to kick out at something that close to an official. The umpire had no option, it was Nalbandian himself who cheated the crowd out of a good match and to top it off his "apology" turned into a rant at the ATP, he surely deserves some kind of suspension.

Understand the crowd's frustration, though to take it out on the officials who as I said had no option according to the rules was a bit harsh, and even Cilic who was the innocent bystander got one or two boos I think!

I think it's a disgusting act and he should be banned from Wimbledon as punishment.

Accident or not, he has caused injury to an official through his petulant actions.

We all know boys that the hurtiest things in the world are:

1. A kick in the knackers.
2. Stepping on LEGO (barefoot)
3. Banging your shin

So fair play to him, it must have stung.

(I'm reliably informed from Mrs Sted that childbirth is probably in the top ten also)

I'm sure it smarts a bit but a quick bit of oxygen and it's all fine.

To be fair, I don't think the battery is that bad.

It's not like eating crisps with a paper cut

(Or with a mouth ulcer come to think of it.)
