Wimbledon Dream Team 2009
It's that time of year again.
Signs for pick-your-own strawberries are appearing at the side of the road. The weather is starting to look unsettled.
It's Wimbledon again.
Tff are running their fantasy Wimbledon competition again. Clicky
If some-one could kindly set up the FISO mini-league I would be most grateful.

Worth pointing this stands for Tennis For Free (a charity) and has nowt to do with the Telegraph (Fantasy Football).Shaggy365 wrote:Tff are running their fantasy Wimbledon competition again. Clicky
The game is free and you are also free.. to donate...
OK, I'm supposed to be having a summer off but this is free and doesn't involve ongoing management/thought.

I thought the same
Was having a quick read through the rules, but don't see a transfer system mentioned. Guess that once your player is out, then your down to 19, 18, 17 etc....
Kept simple enough. No maintenance required........ i'm in

Re: Wimbledon Dream Team 2009
Finally got round to picking my entry.
If it's anything like last year's competition, they are faster at putting in points updates than FPL, CYKI or any other fantasy competition.

Re: Wimbledon Dream Team 2009
I'd wait a couple of hours til the official site or the BBC lay it out properly so you can see who will play who in later rounds.
Some stuff here:

I'm in with Kick in the Balls!
Wimbledon is the only tennis comp that gets me interested so complete guesswork mainly in the women's team. I apologise in advance for dragging down the group
Bloody well run game though

Yep - no transfers last year so dead easy - just watch the points roll in and the players drop outTheTon wrote: I thought the same

Loving Jedi Council - my boy's just getting in to Starwars and it's brilliant as both myself and Mrs Demo are big Starwars fans. I think the lego is great but have you seen the prices! I had a quick butchers on ebay and it's not much less.... just those tiny lego figures are over a fiver

Time to change my entry.
So much for spending ages calculating each matches result, the points, and then the best possible entry.
Where's that pin?

Re: Wimbledon Dream Team 2009
I spent hours on the Woman's section appraising their technical ability, record on grass, speed of serve and the advantage of the draw .... in the end I just picked the loudest grunter working my way down to the quietest grunter .. sorted.
