Thanks for the support X-Man

I was a bit weary of possibly facing you in the playoffs because i thought it would click for you,and you would get your lineup spot on,

Looking forward to the match against Bookhouse Boys looks a close matchup on paper.

I was cursing my luck on Monday after losing to 'Get It Right Next Time' by a single point (for the second time this season by the way)

Never would've expected Tom Brady to play so poorly against the Dolphins of all teams.

Finding it really tough to decide who to bench this week :?

Both semi-finals still alive going into the final game of the week.
#2 seeds Cornish Tinners definitely in prime position for the championship game - only needing 6 points from Matt Bryant and Devonta Freeman. And Freeman will have the backfield all to himself as Tevin Coleman is out.
#1 seeds Yorkshire Dragons in a much tougher position - 14 needed from Mohamed Sanu against the Bucs. In Sanu's favour - Tampa Bay are ranked dead last against opposing WRs.

WEEK 15 RESULTS
Bookhouse Boys 98 @ 86 Yorkshire Dragons
Get it Right Next Time 82 @ 107 Cornish Tinners

Fulchester Fish 88 @ 77 X - Men
Putney Gooners 92 @ 93 Barry Crockers
Bruschi 54's 77 @ 59 Chingford Gingers
Forest Tigers 95 @ 112 Luck Skywalker

The top seeds are toppled! - Atlanta did the damage on the ground, not through the air, so Sanu didn't get anywhere near the required target. Bookhouse Boys into the final, to play...
Cornish Tinners - they were the beneficiaries of Atlanta's running game with Devonta Freeman having a monster day, and ended up winning quite comfortably.

SEASON REVIEW

Champions - CORNISH TINNERS
Congratulations Tinners! One of the original members of the league makes it to the top of the pile. They shot out of the gate, winning their first six games, and never relinquished their position at the top of the Sanders Division, locking up postseason play with (from memory) three games still to be played. Two comfortable wins in the final two games and job done. For good measure, they also won the highest scoring week trophy with 130 points in week 3. Well played Stuart!

2nd - BOOKHOUSE BOYS
Impressive debut season for the Boys - after a very shaky start, losing the first four games, an 8-1 run in the next nine lifted them into a position of just scraping in to the wildcard slot by 3 points over the whole season. In the semifinal, they dumped the top seeded Yorkshire Dragons, but found the Tinners too much in the final.

3rd - GET IT RIGHT NEXT TIME
No disgrace for last years champs who were also quick out of the blocks with a four game winning opening run. Three consecutive losses towards the end of the season tightened up the division a bit, but GIRNT then won the last two to take the Payton Division.

4th - YORKSHIRE DRAGONS
Like their fellow rookies Bookhouse Boys, the Dragons took a bit of time to find their feet, standing at 1-3 after the first 4 games. From there though, they rattled off 10 consecutive wins to storm the Brown Division and take the #1 seed into the playoffs. Sadly for them, the winning run was ended in the semifinal by the wildcard Bookhouse Boys.

5th - FULCHESTER FISH
A 2-2 record after 4 games turned into a 2-6 record after 8 games as the Fish suffered 4 losses in a row. What with the Tinners steamrollering the division, hopes of postseason play were ended fairly quickly, although they did rouse themselves to win the last two consolation ladder games to lift them to the #1 draft spot next year.

6th - BARRY CROCKERS
Bumping along at a pace that, after 12 weeks, was putting them in a handy position to qualify for the last four, but two losses in weeks 13 and 14 put paid to that. A win in the first round of the consolation ladder lifted them one place in the final standings though.

7th - BRUSCHI 54s
A rather down year for the founder of the league. 3-3 after 6 games still meant that they were 3 games back from the division leading Tinners, and like the rest of that division never really had a chance of catching up. They did themselves a power of good in the consolation ladder games though - going in as 10th best, two wins shot them up the table and a much better drafting position for next year.

8th - X-MEN
What looked like it might turn into a succesful season went completely pear shaped. 8-3 after 11 weeks, and postseason looked a given. Even after losses in weeks 12 and 13, X-Men were still in prime position for the wild card until a week 14 meltdown. To compound things, they then lost the last two ladder games to drop them precipitately down the final standings.

9th - LUCK SKYWALKER
Our third rookie didn't fare quite as well as the other two, though 3-4 after 7 weeks was an OK record. 6 weeks later, 3-4 had turned into 3-10 after a horrendous run. Two wins in the ladder games helped a bit for next years draft.

10th - PUTNEY GOONERS
Didn't get off to the greatest of starts, 2-4 after 6 weeks. Still just 4-6 at week 10, but then three successive wins put them into a position where a week 14 win might have been enough to qualify as the wildcard - it didn't happen. Losing the last two ladder games dropped them down the overall rankings as well.

11th - CHINGFORD GINGERS
Another team that at the halfway point would have been feeling quite comfortable - a 4-4 record after 8 weeks. Like Luke Skywalker though, then hit an awful losing run to take them way out of postseason contention.

12th - FOREST TIGERS
The writing was on the wall quite early on for the Tigers, with just a solitary win in the first 9 weeks. They also lost the two ladder games to finish bottom of the pile this time around.

Thanks to all owners for playing hard throughout the season - it's so refreshing to have full line-ups week after week! Happy holidays everyone, and hope to see you all next time around.

Well played yourself, Mr Chairman. Very enjoyable as ever, and still the toughest league I play. Next season, any chance of a 10 point head-start in each game, 'founder bonus'? I need all the help I can get. :D
