FISO ESPN Year 7 - match reports

Post by Rick Spangle »

Here we go with the new season :)

WEEK 1 - SCORES IN PROGRESS

Portsmouth Pirates 76 @ 123 Chingford Gingers - YTP A.Foster (Pirates)
Foster's going to have to put on a Peyton Manning like performance for the Pirates to take this one.
QB A.Luck scored 24 and WR R.Cobb got 16 on the Pirates team - but they'll be disappointed with a combined
3 points from RBs CJ.Spiller and L.Miller. QB and WR positions also paying dividends for the Gingers, with 30
from Colin Kaepernick and 28 from AJ.Green, but Maurice Jones-Drew was another disappointing RB, only getting 4 points.

Forest Tigers 79 @ 61 Cornish Tinners - YTP L.McCoy, A.Morris (Tigers); M.Vick (Tinners)
Some star performers still to play in this matchup, but looking good at the moment for the Tigers.
A bizarre (so far) top scorer for the Tigers - the Kansas City Chiefs DST with 24! QB T.Romo chipped in with 16. Not too
much to write home about for the Tinners - only RBs R.Rice and S.Jackson and K D.Bailey posting double figures so far.

X-Men 82 @ 91 Get It Right Next Time - YTP R.Griffin III (X-Men)
The first close match of the year - X-Men should take it, needing only 10 points from QB R.Griffin.
Best performers for the X-Men - RB R.Bush (25) and TE J.Witten (19) - but they'll be hoping that 1st round selection RB M.Lynch (4) has a better week 2 onwards than week 1. GIRNT (as they will be known from now on!) got a reasonable week total thanks to QB D.Brees (20) and WR W.Welker (16) among others, but they have to hope for an off-day from RGIII.

Crystal Tipps 87 @ 138 Putney Gooners - completed game
Putney Gooners putting in a strong bid for the season-long top score trophy in week 1 - for which they must obviously thank QB P.Manning who's 7 TDs and impressive yardage added up to a magnificent 46 points. Add to that RB A.Peterson's 28 and double digits from both players at the WR position and it means a pretty formidable total. Not much chance for Crystal Tipps against this juggernaut - in a week where quite a few TE scored well, Vernon Davis led the way with 21.

Bruschi 54s 98 @ 58 Caracas Firecrackers - YTP F.Davis, Texans DST (both Firecrackers)
A very slim chance for the debutants Firecrackers - though the Texans D has the potential to score heavily against San Diego.
WR V.Cruz definitely the star perfomer for 54s, with 3 TDs and 29 points; and QB M.Stafford also had a good opening day with 20. Once again, QB and WR positions best for the Firecrackers with 19 from Matt Ryan and 26 from Anquan Boldin - but man, those RBs! Stevan Ridley and David Wilson combined for 65 yards, 3 fumbles - and 2 benchings :(

Fulchester Fish 78 @ 82 Barry Crockers - YTP D.Jackson, A.Gates, R.Mathews (all Fish); A.Johnson, O.Daniels (Crockers)
Plenty left in this one to be sorted out Monday night, too close to call based on the predictions.
For the Fish, QB A.Rodgers off to his typically strong start with 24, and WR L.Fitzgerald, now with the help of a quarterback worthy of the name, proved his class with 20 points. Crockers also got off to a flyer on Thursday night with WR D.Thomas's 28 points as one of the main beneficiaries of the Peyton Manning show, with 4 others just scraping into double figures to bring up the current total. With a combined 4 players in the very last game of the week (about 3.30 am our time I think), this game's winners will be discovered tomorrow morning - unless you're really hardcore :D

Went to bed last night thinking Anquan Boldin's 208 yard and a TD game had put me in control of the matchup.

Victor Cruz - I hate you

And don't even get me started on running backs

So I need a double digit performance from Fred Davis and for the Texans to go crazy on the Chargers.....

40 points shouldn't be too tough to cover, right ?

WEEK 1 - FINAL SCORES

(nb ESPN do not confirm scores until approx Thursday mornings, so there may be a few edits to these summaries)

Portsmouth Pirates 84 @ 123 Chingford Gingers
With the late, but not unexpected, news from the Texans coach that Foster and Tate "were going to alternate" at RB, Pirates fate was all but sealed. In the end, Foster managed a modest 84 yards and didn't get in the endzone, so a comfortable win confirmed for the Gingers.

Forest Tigers 111 @ 86 Cornish Tinners
McCoy had a great day, equalling the KC defence's 24 points - Morris considerably less so, although his TD salvaged a disappointing rushing day. Michael Vick also had an impressive performance for the Tinners - looking promising for the season. (So's my speculative bet on Philly winning their division :) )

X-Men 101 @ 91 GIRNT
Three quarters of the way through the Redskins/Giants game and X-Men must have been fearing the worst as the Redskins looked pretty rough. They managed a good but not quite good enough comeback and RG3 scored enough through the air (not so much on the ground) to give X-Men the win.

Crystal Tipps 87 @ 138 Putney Gooners

Bruschi 54s 98 @ 72 Caracas Firecrackers
Always a pretty forlorn hope for the Firecrackers, especially as the Texans D got off to a slow start in the game and allowed Philip Rivers to throw 4 TDs. Fred Davis couldn't help out much either.

Fulchester Fish 109 @ 114 Barry Crockers
Closest game of the week as the two remaining Crockers, Johnson and Daniels, just outscored the Fish trio of Mathews, Jackson and Gates. Both teams left a lot of points on the bench in this one - starting Gates (4) in favour of Jared Cook (24) particularly painful for the Fish. Eli Manning's 28 points also went unused for the Crockers.

WEEK 2 FIXTURES

Cornish Tinners (0-1) @ Portsmouth Pirates (0-1)
Chingford Gingers (1-0) @ Forest Tigers (1-0)
Putney Gooners (1-0) @ X-Men (1-0)
GIRNT (0-1) @ Crystal Tipps (0-1)
Barry Crockers (1-0) @ Bruschi 54s (1-0)
Caracas Firecrackers (0-1) @ Fulchester Fish (0-1)

Coincidentally, 3 games between unbeaten teams and 3 between winless teams.

I've had Vick for the last two years. He's made of papier mache...and the new 'high octane' offense is going to burn him soon.

Eagles in the NFL = Liverpool in the Premier League. Start out the season promising a lot and then fade away.

WEEK 2 - SCORES IN PROGRESS

Cornish Tinners 105 @ 119 Portsmouth Pirates - YTP A.Brown (Tinners)
A close, high-scoring, match here - and all to play for, with the Tinners needing 15 points from WR Antonio Brown in the Monday night game. QB Michael Vick had an excellent fantasy day in a losing Philly cause with 33 points, and WR Dez Bryant added 20 with his 140-yard day plus a TD. A good balanced performance from the Pirates, everyone except WR Marques Colston managing double figures - WR Randall Cobb top-scoring with 18. Tinners might have a few worries for next week - both RBs (Rice and Steven Jackson) left early with injuries.

Chingford Gingers 62 @ 75 Forest Tigers - YTP AJ.Green (Gingers), A.Dalton (Tigers)
And still a bit left in this one - Tigers are left hoping that Andy Dalton's TD passes go to someone other than his opponent's AJ Green. Not a wonderful day for either team - RB Matt Forte and K Josh Brown the only players to hit 10 or more points for Gingers, while WR Julio Jones and RB LeSean McCoy provided half of the entire Tigers score between them.

Putney Gooners 73 @ 101 X-Men - completed game
Neither Gooners or X-Men have any Bengals or Steelers on their rosters, so this one's done. QB Peyton Manning (20) and WR Brandon Marshall (17) the only significant scorers for the Gooners, while RB Marshawn Lynch brought the X-Men home with a 3 TD performance in last night's game for 30 points, ably assisted by QB Robert Griffin padding his stats, as last week, with some useful garbage time yardage and scoring.

GIRNT 80 @ 93 Crystal Tipps - YTP BJ Green-Ellis (Tipps)
Another settled game, just the margin of the Tipps victory to be determined. TE Jimmy Graham the lone stand-out for GIRNT with a huge day yardage-wise, and one TD, leading to 23 points. For Tipps, WR Calvin Johnson matched Graham's score, and the Seahawks D had a bit of a field day against the 49ers, intercepting Colin Kaepernick three times, for 21 points. Miami WR Mike Wallace's grumblings last week about not getting the ball seem to have paid off - a much better day for him this week with 17.

Barry Crockers 76 @ 96 Bruschi 54s - YTP Bengals DST (Crockers)
A slight squeak of a chance for the Crockers as Pittsburgh's offence looks really shaky at the moment - Crockers need 21 points out of the Bengals DST tonight. Fairly balanced showings from both teams here, QB Cam Newton (16) for Crockers and QB Matthew Stafford and WR Steve Johnson (both 17) for the Bruschi 54s.

Caracas Firecrackers 42 @ 117 Fulchester Fish - completed game.
The only blowout of the week as the Firecrackers, with the honourable exception of 22-point QB Matt Ryan, completely failed to show up. Just one of those days - last weeks top WR Anquan Boldin failing to score even 1 point, RB David Wilson scraping just 7 carries, even K Randy Bullock joined in the misery with 3 missed field goals. Meanwhile QB Aaron Rodgers' 480 yards and 4TDs almost outscored the Firecrackers by himself, with good backing up from his teammate WR Jordy Nelson (18) and WR DeSean Jackson (25).

I have 2 good QB's (Ryan and Bradford) would be very willing to trade 1 of them for a half decent RB.

WEEK 2 - FINAL SCORES

Cornish Tinners 111 @ 118 Portsmouth Pirates
Pittsburgh Steelers offensive (in both senses of the word) struggles meant that Antonio Brown was always unlikely to get much in the way of points - he managed just 59 yards and no TD - so the Pirates hang on.
Edit: Tinners 1 point gained, Pirates 1 point lost after stat corrections - scores now adjusted

Chingford Gingers 65 @ 91 Forest Tigers
Andy Dalton had a reasonable day, AJ Green a poor one which resulted in an extended victory margin for the Tigers.
Edit: Gingers 1 point lost after stat corrections - scores now adjusted

Putney Gooners 73 @ 101 X-Men

GIRNT 80 @ 100 Crystal Tipps
Green-Ellis got the bulk of the RB work, though it was Gio Bernard who came away with the TDs. 70+ yards and 7 points for Green-Ellis to allow Tipps to hit the three-figure mark.

Barry Crockers 86 @ 96 Bruschi 54s
The Cincy DST held Pittsburgh to fairly meagre rations, but really needed a return TD or 2 to have given the Crockers a chance for the come-from-behind win.

Caracas Firecrackers 42 @ 117 Fulchester Fish

WEEK 3 FIXTURES

Portsmouth Pirates (1-1) @ Forest Tigers (2-0)
Cornish Tinners (0-2) @ Chingford Gingers (1-1)
X-Men (2-0) @ Crystal Tipps (1-1)
Putney Gooners (1-1) @ GIRNT (0-2)
Bruschi 54s (2-0) @ Fulchester Fish (1-1)
Barry Crockers (1-1) @ Caracas Firecrackers (0-2)

Hows your luck ?

David Wilson runs in a 21 yard TD and it gets called back on a penalty.

Eddie Royal makes a 5 yard TD catch and it gets called back for a penalty

WEEK 3 - SCORES IN PROGRESS

Portsmouth Pirates 55 @ 104 Forest Tigers - completed game
Big win for the so-far undefeated Tigers in the only completed game of round 3. Only QB Andrew Luck (14) hit double digits for the Pirates, while the Tigers had a trio of 20-point scorers, QB Tony Romo (20), RB LeSean McCoy (21) and surprise top scorers the Chiefs DST (22). Pirates did get unlucky with injuries, both RB CJ Spiller and TE Jermichael Finley leaving their games early, but it probably wasn't a difference maker this week - maybe for next week? (Although Finley's got an extra week to recover, GB have a bye in week 4).

Cornish Tinners 105 @ 77 Chingford Gingers - YTP E.Decker (Gingers)
Tinners with a good chance of getting off the mark for the year - an improbable 29 points from WR Eric Decker are needed by the Gingers in tonight's game. 15 points each for QB Michael Vick and rookie RB Gio Bernard, but the star of the show for the TInners came in the unlikely shape of Pittsburgh WR Antonio Brown. Considering the Steelers performances so far, I'll bet that the Tinners are delighted with an amazing 31 points from the wide receiver who, like the Dolphins WR Wallace last week, found that complaining to his head coach about being under-utilized seems to have paid off! 24 points for TE Jordan Cameron and 16 from RB Matt Forte were the main scorers for the Gingers, whose kicker Josh Brown recorded an unusual negative score for a kicker, missing his only FG attempt and not getting a chance at any XPs.

X-Men 81 @ 66 Crystal Tipps - YTP K.Moreno (Tipps)
This should be the closest game of the week - Moreno is projected for 15 points, and a tie. The Bears DST came through once again for the X-Men, top-scoring with 23. Other than that, no real stand-outs. WR Calvin Johnson with 17 and QB Tom Brady (15) for Crystal Tipps, who were unfortunate with a late scratch from TE Vernon Davis with no other TE on their roster.
A couple of injuries for X-Men to monitor as well - WR Miles Austin and RB James Starks both leaving their games early.

Putney Gooners 41 @ 107 GIRNT - YTP P.Manning, M.Ball (both Gooners); W.Welker (GIRNT)
Unless Manning throws three screen passes to Montee Ball tonight, GIRNT are finally living up to their full team name! Star RB Adrian Peterson scored 14 points and the Vikings DST chipped in with 11, but that was about it for the Gooners. For GIRNT, if the Saints are on a good day, it probably means fun fun fun for them - the Drew Brees/Jimmy Graham combo producing 56 points between them. A useful 18 from RB Joique Bell, benefitting from the absence of Reggie Bush, also adding to a big win for GIRNT.

Bruschi 54s 93 @ 75 Fulchester Fish - YTP M.Prater (Fish)
It's up to Denver kicker Matt Prater to hit 19 points tonight, otherwise it will be a win for the 54s. Unlikely, but just possible in the thin air at Mile High. Another DST scored well here - the Panthers beating up on the awful New York Giants, getting 23 points, the same as RB Jamaal Charles - QB Matthew Stafford also hit the 20 mark for the 54s. QB Aaron Rodgers had a poor day for once for the Fish, whose total was somewhat rescued by RB DeMarco Murray (25). 54s also a little unlucky with RB Daryl Richardson having to leave the game before even registering a carry.

Barry Crockers 68 @ 44 Caracas Firecrackers - YTP D.McFadden, D.Thomas (both Crockers); Broncos DST (Firecrackers)
Some way to go in this one, but it's looking good for Crockers, who got good scoring out of QB Cam Newton (28), yet another good DST performance, this time from the Bengals (18) and Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski (14). Hardly anything else, and maybe an added worry over WR Andre Johnson who was injured during the game. The Firecrackers are suffering a bit under the double handicap of taking over a team from last year with two poor keepers, and a bit of bad luck with injuries - Gronkowski we knew about, but backup Fred Davis also failed to suit up for Sunday's game. QB Matt Ryan (15) and K Blair Walsh (10) the only double figure scorers.

WEEK 3 - FINAL SCORES

Portsmouth Pirates 55 @ 104 Forest Tigers

Cornish Tinners 105 @ 95 Chingford Gingers
Eric Decker had a fine day, scoring 19, but really needed a couple more TDs in order for the Gingers to have overtaken the Tinners total.
Edit: one off the Gingers score after stat correction

X-Men 81 @ 69 Crystal Tipps
Considering the Broncos put up 37 points on the Raiders, this was a disappointing show for Knowshon Moreno, who only managed 39 yards rushing and one short catch, scoring just 3.

Putney Gooners 69 @ 121 GIRNT
Manning did throw his 3 TD passes, but none of them were to his RB Ball, who only managed to total 4 points. One of Manning's TD passes did go to GIRNT's Wes Welker though, to increase the victory margin.

Bruschi 54s 93 @ 92 Fulchester Fish
Matt Prater's boot nearly got the Fish home with an excellent 17 points, but they come up 1 short and are hoping for a stat correction during the week!

Barry Crockers 87 @ 47 Caracas Firecrackers
Nothing much from any of the three players in action on Monday night with Darren McFadden in particular having an awful day until a late TD pass spared his blushes.

WEEK 4 FIXTURES

Portsmouth Pirates (1-2) @ Caracas Firecrackers (0-3)
Putney Gooners (1-2) @ Cornish Tinners (1-2)
Chingford Gingers (1-2) @ Barry Crockers (2-1)
Forest Tigers (3-0) @ Crystal Tipps (1-2)
Fulchester Fish (1-2) @ X-Men (3-0)
Bruschi 54s (3-0) @ GIRNT (1-2)

Reminder - bye weeks (already!) - please remember to set rosters accordingly.

WEEK 4 - SCORES IN PROGRESS

Portsmouth Pirates 76 @ 69 Caracas Firecrackers - YTP M.Colston, C.Clay, L.Miller (all Pirates)
The Pirates have this game won - already leading with 3 players still remaining. RB Arian Foster had his best day of the season so far, scoring 22, and QB Andrew Luck added 18. For the Firecrackers, WR Anquan Boldin and the Denver DST each produced 15 points - TE Fred Davis, passed fit just before the game, probably shouldn't have bothered, failing to record a single catch.

Putney Gooners 102 @ 65 Cornish Tinners - completed game
Gooners taking this one on the strength of 3 excellent performances from QB Peyton Manning (29), RB Adrian Peterson (26) and WR Greg Jennings (21). Not a lot else, but with those three, not much else was needed. Tinners started both Baltimore RBs, Rice and Pierce, in the reasonable expectation that this run-first team would provide decent stats for on or the other - between them they rushed just 9 times for a grand total of 24 yards :o . WR Dez Bryant scored a fine 20 points, but he can't do it by himself.

Chingford Gingers 89 @ 77 Barry Crockers - completed game
Gingers win a fairly close game. RB Matt Forte (17) and WR Reggie Wayne (16) leading the point-scorers for the Gingers - and for the Crockers, it was WR Demaryus Thomas (20) and QB Jay Cutler (16). I notice that the Gingers bench has a whole bunch of players designated questionable for next week - they'll be hoping for some good news on the medical front in the next few days.

Forest Tigers 107 @ 86 Crystal Tipps - completed game
Another contest already over and the Tigers remain unbeaten this season. TE Tony Gonzalez finally got going for the year with 149 yards and two TDs accounting for 26 points. The Chiefs DST scored 19 and QB Tony Romo added 18. With Roy Helu on his bench to back up the possibly-injured Alfred Morris, it's looking good for the Tigers at the moment. QB Tom Brady also shows signs of getting more comfortable with his receivers (and hopefully Gronk will be back next week as well), scoring 20, with the Seahawks DST and RB Knowshon Moreno each getting 14. It looks like it may be the end of the line for RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis who is rapidly losing touches to Gio Bernard, only getting 6 carries this week.

Fulchester Fish 101 @ 87 X-Men - YTP B.Hartline, G.Hartley (both X-Men)
The only game with anything left to play for - X-Men need 15 points from WR Brian Hartline and K Garrett Hartley in tonight's game to take the win and also move to 4-0. The Colts DST had their fun with the hapless Jaguars, and rung up 22 points - TE Antonio Gates (a good day for the older TEs this week) scored 19. RB Reggie Bush, back to fitness, and WR Nate Washington (who looks like he's now the no. 1 WR in Tennessee replacing the lacklustre Kenny Britt) both got 22. Odds just favour the X-Men to overtake the Fish total - a 3 point win is predicted.

Bruschi 54s 80 @ 97 GIRNT - YTP D.Brees, J.Graham (both GIRNT)
A win for GIRNT, and the 54s first loss - with two potentially huge scorers still to go, GIRNT could be aiming for the highest weekly score so far of 138. WR Victor Cruz playing a lone hand for the Giants this week, totalling 164 yards and 1 TD for 22 points. RB Jamaal Charles (18) also had a reasonable day, but two zero-point scores from RB Isaiah Pead and WR Steve Johnson (who's ugly stat line reads 6 targets, 1 catch for -1 yards) hardly helped the cause. 22 points seems to be a particular favourite this week - that was also the points total of WR Torrey Smith. 19 each from RB Frank Gore and WR Wes Welker setting the GIRNT team up for a big win with those two heavy hitters still to come.

WEEK 4 - FINAL SCORES

Portsmouth Pirates 107 @ 69 Caracas Firecrackers
All three remaining players scored around the 10-point mark to boost the winning score for the Pirates.

Putney Gooners 102 @ 65 Cornish Tinners

Chingford Gingers 89 @ 79 Barry Crockers
Edit: 2 extra points to Crockers after stat correction

Forest Tigers 107 @ 86 Crystal Tipps

Fulchester Fish 101 @ 97 X-Men
Brian Hartline had a poor game with only 3 points which meant that the X-Men come up just short and lose their unbeaten record.

Bruschi 54s 80 @ 151 GIRNT
The magnificent twosome of Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham combined for 54 points and pushed the Get It Right Next Time squad to a season-leading, and very nearly all-time-leading, score of 151. Good work GIRNT :)

WEEK 5 FIXTURES

X-Men (3-1) @ Portsmouth Pirates (2-2)
Caracas Firecrackers (0-4) @ Cornish Tinners (1-3)
Putney Gooners (2-2) @ Fulchester Fish (2-2)
GIRNT (2-2) @ Chingford Gingers (2-2)
Forest Tigers (4-0) @ Barry Crockers (2-2)
Crystal Tipps (1-3) @ Bruschi 54s (3-1)

That may be it for a while from me for these reports - I'm away for 4 weeks, not sure how my internet availability is going to be - see you in November.

I'm back for more musings on the week's activities

WEEK 10 - SCORES IN PROGRESS

Portsmouth Pirates 58 @ 122 Putney Gooners - YTP L.Miller, C.Clay, Miami DST (all Pirates)
Pirates well behind, and even with three left to play, their chances are minimal. K Steven Hauschka had an excellent 19 points from the kicking position, and WR Pierre Garcon's good run of form continues with 17, but not a great deal else. In a generally low-scoring week, the Gooners bucked the trend with a fine weekly score, QB Peyton Manning, RB Adrian Peterson and WR Brandon Marshall all scoring well.

Caracas Firecrackers 58 @ 89 X-Men - completed game
Sadly another damp squib for the Firecrackers - QB Matt Ryan, RB Donald Brown and K Blair Walsh all just scraped into double digits. X-Men got 21 points each from the Seahawk duo of QB Russell Wilson and RB Marshawn Lynch with WR Kenny Stills adding an OK 13 to the total.

Crystal Tipps 52 @ 84 Chingford Gingers - YTP R.Tannehill, V.Jackson (both Tipps)
Close game here - 33 points needed from the Miami QB and the Tampa Bay WR tonight. 20 points from WR Calvin Johnson led the way for the Tipps - not a great deal else as yet. Top scorer at the WR position for the Gingers as well - WR AJ Green with 21. Good scoring from the Panthers DST (16) and TE Julius Thomas (15) going a little way to offset the disastrous performance at QB from Jake Locker (-3).

Barry Crockers 85 @ 95 GIRNT - YTP M.James (Crockers)
...and another close one, Crockers needing 11 points from the Tampa RB Mike James to end the 7-game winning streak of Get It Right Next Time. 3 TD's for WR Demaryus Thomas giving him 28 points as the stand-out performer for Crockers, backed up by 15 points each from WR Andre Johnson and the Bengals DST. For GIRNT, QB Drew Brees' great day meant 31 points, but with only low double-figure scores at best from anyone else, they are probably relying on a TD-less day from James.

Cornish Tinners 59 @ 73 Fulchester Fish - completed game
A low-scoring struggle here, but the Fish take it by 14. RB Gio Bernard (14) top scored for the Tinners, with the Pittsburgh duo of QB Ben Roethlisberger and WR Antonio Brown each getting 10. For the Fish, 14 each from RB DeMarco Murray and WR DeSean Jackson, with additional double-digit totals from QB Jay Cutler and the Ravens DST just got them home.

Forest Tigers 80 @ 63 Bruschi 54s - completed game
Tigers continue their stranglehold on the Central division with a comfortable win over the Bruschi 54s. Again, another not particularly high scoring match-up - the Tigers top man was RB LeSean McCoy with 15, and RB Alfred Morris and WR TY Hilton both added 13 points. The Raiders DST led for the 54s with 17 points, with a trio of 12-point scorers in QB Philip Rivers, RB Zac Stacy and TE Jordan Reed as back-up.

WEEK 10 - FINAL SCORES

Portsmouth Pirates 66 @ 122 Putney Gooners
Miller and Clay scored precisely 2 points between them, and the DST only added a further 6, so the Pirates in the end got nowhere near the Gooners formidable total.

Caracas Firecrackers 58 @ 89 X-Men

Crystal Tipps 69 @ 84 Chingford Gingers
Tannehill got a reasonable 15, but Vincent Jackson had a really disappointing day scoring just 2. In the end, a comfortable win for the Gingers.

Barry Crockers 89 @ 94 GIRNT
Sadly for the Crockers (but more sadly for Mike James!), the RB only lasted one quarter before suffering a broken ankle. Just the 4 points, and the GIRNT win streak now stands at 8.
Edit - 1 point less for GIRNT after stat correction

Cornish Tinners 59 @ 73 Fulchester Fish

Forest Tigers 80 @ 63 Bruschi 54s

WEEK 11 SCHEDULE

Portsmouth Pirates (3-7) @ Barry Crockers (6-4)
Chingford Gingers (5-5) @ Caracas Firecrackers (1-9)
Putney Gooners (5-5) @ Forest Tigers (7-3)
Crystal Tipps (5-5) @ Cornish Tinners (3-7)
Fulchester Fish (5-5) @ GIRNT (8-2)
X-Men (7-3) @ Bruschi 54s (5-5)

WEEK 11 - SCORES IN PROGRESS

Portsmouth Pirates 86 @ 67 Barry Crockers - YTP S.Vereen (Pirates), C.Newton & S.Gostkowski (Crockers)
Bit of play left in this one, with the Panthers QB Newton and Pats kicker Gostkowski up against the New England RB Vereen who should be a late activation for tonights game. (Pirates might have wished that he'd been declared out already as they might have inserted 34-point Bobby Rainey in instead - though it might equally well have been 1-point CJ Spiller, only the Pirates will know that one!). QB Nick Foles scored 21 and Miami TE Charles Clay added 15. Top scorer by some distance for the Crockers was the Bengals DST (26) featuring multiple sacks, ints and TDs along the way.

Chingford Gingers 60 @ 44 Caracas Firecrackers - YTP Panthers DST (Gingers), Ridley, Smith, Gronkowski (all Firecrackers)
Also a bit left in this one - with three potentially high-scoring players remaining, the Firecrackers could nick it. RB Matt Forte scored 18 for the Gingers, who had two players held scoreless - AJ Green came off definitely 2nd best against the Browns CB Joe Haden, and the Redskins kicker didn't get a chance to put boot to ball. 14 from QB Matt Ryan for the Firecrackers, but there should be much more to come.

Putney Gooners 77 @ 89 Forest Tigers - YTP Amendola (Gooners)
13 needed for the Gooners from Amendola tonight - and 12 predicted! Main man QB Peyton Manning got a slightly disappointing 14, even being outscored by the Titans TE Delanie Walker who top-scored with 15. RB LeSean McCoy had one of the performances of the week for the Tigers scoring 26 points, and the Buccs DST helped out with 17, but this one's going to the wire.

Crystal Tipps 102 @ 110 Cornish Tinners - YTP Brady, Stewart (both Tipps); Olsen (Tinners)
And another one going all the way - the loser of this game's going to be a bit unlucky as their score would have won against most other opponents. Wide receiver was the strength of the Tipps this week - Vincent Jackson and Calvin Johnson combining for 51 points, ably supported by the Seahawks D (16 points). QB Big Ben Roethlisberger turned in a season's best game with over 350 yards and 4 TDs to total 31 points - two of those TD throws going to WR Antonio Brown netting another 26. RB Ray Rice also rolled back the weeks/years scoring 20 points.

Fulchester Fish 99 @ 73 GIRNT - completed game
The only finished match-up - and the GIRNT win streak is stopped at 8. A weirdly balanced performance from the Fish - all 9 of their players scored between 8 and 14 points, the Giants DST taking the honours for top scorers. RB Bashard Jennings, ably (or better-than-ably) filling in for often-crocked Darren McFadden led the way for GIRNT with 21, but QB Drew Brees had a slightly down day with just 14 and no-one else really picked up the slack.

X-Men 102 @ 69 Bruschi 54s - YTP D.Williams (54s)
A slight chance for the 54s if DeAngelo Williams goes off on one. X-Men's RB duo of Marshawn Lynch and Chris Johnson had good days - 23 for Lynch and 20 for CJ - and Seahawks QB Russell Wilson helped out with another 18 points. QB Matthew Stafford scored 22 for the 54s, who got a bit unlucky yesterday with injuries - both TE Jordan Reed and WR Leonard Hankerson had to leave the Redskins game early due to concussion and a knee injury respectively.

WEEK 11 - FINAL SCORES

Portsmouth Pirates 92 @ 102 Barry Crockers
RB Vereen turned out to be the Pats leading receiver last night, but did nothing from his RB position in his return from injury. Meanwhile, Cam Newton had a fine game, scoring 26 to give Crockers the win and the lead in their division.

Chingford Gingers 66 @ 69 Caracas Firecrackers
Not a great performance from any of the Firecrackers 3 players from last night, but between them they did just enough to get Caracas over the winning line in a low-scoring battle.

Putney Gooners 81 @ 90 Forest Tigers
Amendola had a reasonable 6 receptions, but they were all fairly short - only 45 yards in total, so just the 4 points and the Tigers are almost home in their division.

Crystal Tipps 116 @ 121 Cornish Tinners
Really unlucky for the Tipps as their 2nd highest score of the week counted for nothing against top scorers Tinners. Greg Olsen's TD catch for the Tinners, and Jonathan Stewart's miserable 1-point total for the Tipps were the difference makers.

Fulchester Fish 99 @ 73 GIRNT

X-Men 102 @ 71 Bruschi 54s
Needing 34 points, DeAngelo Williams came up just the 32 points short! Easy win for the X-Men, who, with GIRNT, look to have the division title and the wildcard spot in their hands.

WEEK 12 SCHEDULE

Chingford Gingers (5-6) @ Portsmouth Pirates (3-8)
Cornish Tinners (4-7) @ Forest Tigers (8-3)
GIRNT (8-3) @ X-Men (8-3)
Putney Gooners (5-6) @ Crystal Tipps (5-6)
Caracas Firecrackers (2-9) @ Bruschi 54s (5-6)
Barry Crockers (7-4) @ Fulchester Fish (6-5)

WEEK 12 - SCORES IN PROGRESS

Chingford Gingers 41 @ 37 Portsmouth Pirates - YTP C.Kaepernick, P.Dawson (both Gingers), P.Garcon (Pirates)
A painfully low scoring match-up to start us off this week - RB Maurice Jones-Drew (20) supplied nearly half of the Gingers running total so far, with (weirdly) Broncos WR Eric Decker contributing zero and (not-so-weirdly, since he was announced as inactive), Broncos TE Julius Thomas also failing to contribute anything. For their part, the Pirates also had two scoreless players in WR Jericho Cotchery and the Browns DST - QB Andrew Luck the only one in double figures so far. Still all to play for in this one however.

Cornish Tinners 81 @ 53 Forest Tigers - YTP A.Morris (Tigers)
Tigers not out of it, needing a performance-of-the-week line from their remaining player, but RB Alfred Morris might just be the player to do it. WR Josh Gordon the definite star for the Tinners with his 230+ yards and one TD accounting for 29 points, with the Steelers duo of QB Roethlisberger and WR Brown adding 16 and 15 respectively. Another duck-egg score here though, Dolphins RB Daniel Thomas having to leave early with a leg injury. The Tigers would have taken 0 from their Chiefs DST - their final tally from their dismal performance against the Chargers ended at -3. A trio of 15 pointers - RB Andre Brown, WR Tavon Austin and K Justin Tucker.

GIRNT 79 @ 69 X-Men - YTP F.Gore (GIRNT), R.Griffin (X-Men)
Once again, nothing settled in the battle of the 8-3 heavyweights - with one major potential point scorer left for either team, can't call this one yet. The Saints deadly Brees/Graham combo accounted for 35 points between them, with RB Rashaad Jennings also just scraping into double figures. WR Keenan Allen led the balanced X-Men squad with just 12, ahead of TE Coby Fleener (11) and WR Micheal Floyd (10).

Putney Gooners 118 @ 84 Crystal Tipps - YTP V.Davis (Tipps)
Another game that's technically still alive, but to all intents and purposes this looks like one for the Gooners, who turned what is likely to be the high score of the week. Scoring came from all positions with RBs Eddie Lacy and Adrian Peterson leading the way with 21 and 18 respectively. Not a bad score form the Tipps, courtesy of QB Tom Brady (23) and RB Knowshon Moreno (28) in the Sunday night game, but they're going to have to rely on a miracle VErnon Davis game tomight.

Caracas Firecrackers 62 @ 93 Bruschi 54s - YTP A.Boldin (Firecrackers)
...and a similar sort of miracle required from Anquan Boldin for the Firecrackers. TE Rob Gronkowski top scored with 15, together with the Vikings kicker Blair Walsh, but RB Stevan Ridley was worse than useless - after fumbling once again, he and his -1 point were benched by Belichick for the rest of the game. RB Jamaal Charles had a great game with 27, and the Bruschi 54s also made what I reckon is the free agent signing of the year this week with their clairvoyant selection of Tampa Bay WR Tiquan Underwood who managed to make his 3 receptions count for over 100 yards and 2 TDs - 22 points. Nice work Bruschi!

Barry Crockers 93 @ 87 Fulchester Fish - completed game
The only final - and what an interesting one. It boiled down to the overtime period in the Patriots/Broncos game with Pats kicker Gostkowski going for Crockers and Broncos kicker Prater for the Fish - and a 3 point difference between the teams. If Prater had got the winning FG, a 90-90 score would have resulted in the Fish winning on higher bench score - if Gostkowski would have scored, it would mean a 93-87 win for the Crockers. The Pats lasted home the best, leaving Gostkowski to win it for the Crockers. Apart from QB Cam Newton's 19, lots of scores in the low teens range for Crockers - QB Josh McCown with 18 and WR Larry Fitzgerald with 17 for the Fish.

WEEK 12 - FINAL SCORES

Chingford Gingers 74 @ 41 Portsmouth Pirates
A 49ers comfortable win, meaning that Kaepernick (23) well outscored the top Washington WR (Garcon- 4), and with the SF kicker Dawson also getting into double figures, this turned into an easy win for the Gingers who still have a chance at winning the Central division.

Cornish Tinners 81 @ 58 Forest Tigers
Morris sufferd from the general malaise in the Washington offence and only managed 5 points. Tigers still in a very strong position in their division however.

GIRNT 82 @ 74 X-Men
The 49ers did it through the air last night so Gore only managed 31 yards and 3 points, but RGIII had an awful game for the Redskins and scored 5. GIRNT are the only team so far to have booked a post-season spot with this win, though whether it's as division winner or wildcard is still up in the air. X-Men themselves in prime position for the wildcard spot, but the division title is still on for them as well.

Putney Gooners 118 @ 95 Crystal Tipps
Big Vern had a fine game for the 49ers scoring a TD and getting respectable yardage but it was asking a bit much for him to get the Tipps home. Gooners still in with a chance at the wild card.

Caracas Firecrackers 83 @ 93 Bruschi 54s
Boldin had a great game with 2 TDs but still not quite enough for the Firecrackers. 54s hold on for the win and are another team that are in with a chance of post-season play, either as division winners or the wildcard.

Barry Crockers 93 @ 87 Fulchester Fish.
Crockers in a strong position for the final 4, either as division winners or wildcard - the Fish's chance of the division title has gone as the Crockers have the tiebreaker (head-to-head wins) over them if both finish at 8-8. Wildcard is still on though.

WEEK 13 SCHEDULE (remember, early Thursday thanksgiving games this week)

Portsmouth Pirates (3-9) @ Cornish Tinners (5-7)
Forest Tigers (8-4) @ Chingford Gingers (6-6)
X-Men (8-4) @ Putney Gooners (6-6)
Crystal Tipps (5-7) @ GIRNT (9-3)
Bruschi 54s (6-6) @ Barry Crockers (8-4)
Fulchester Fish (6-6) @ Caracas Firecrackers (2-10)

WEEK 13 - SCORES IN PROGRESS

Portsmouth Pirates 65 @ 104 Cornish Tinners - YTP M.Colston, S.Hauschka (both Pirates)
Slight chances for the Pirates if Marques Colston follows the example of Eric Decker or Josh Gordon, but it's going to take some doing. 20 points from RB CJ Spiller and 12 from fellow RB Shane Vereen for Pirates - but star of the show was the aforementioned Gordon who managed 38 points from his 260 yards and 2 TD catches (and this wasn't even the highest WR score of the week). QB Ben Roethlisberger had a reasonable game with 19 points.

Forest Tigers 90 @ 138 Chingford Gingers - completed game
Big win for the Gingers with one of the high scores of the season - and no help from the TE position as Julius Thomas was a gametime inactive. WR Alshon Jeffery's amazing 36 points was even more surprisiningly only the third best wide receiver performance of the week, but with double figures from every other member of the Gingers who made it onto the field, this was a crushing win for the Gingers. And it could have been so much bigger - 95 points on the bench, including top scorer of the week Eric Decker's 41  I know it's "what-ifs", but substituting Decker for Maurice James-Drew at flex would have totalled 168 for the week, by some way the highest score ever on FISO fantasy. Kicker Justin Tucker led for the Tigers with 19, and RB Andre Brown added 17. The battle for the division is still on for both these teams - Gingers 1 behind with 1 to play, and level on the head-to-head so points may come into it.

X-Men 72 @ 79 Putney Gooners - YTP R.Wilson, M.Lynch (both X-Men)
X-Men down a few at the moment but only need 8 points from Seattle's quarterback Wilson and running back Lynch for the win and a guaranteed post-season spot (either division winners or the wildcard). The Detroit RB was one of the many Lions who took Green Bay apart on Thursday night gaining 170+ yards from scrimmage and scoring 1 TD for 21 points. 15 each from RB Chris Johnson and WR Michael Floyd. The start of the Gooners card looks impressive - QB Peyton Manning's 32 and RB Adrian Peterson' s 21 - but after that, not much else from the other 7 players.

Crystal Tipps 98 @ 59 GIRNT - YTP Seahawks DST, G.Hartley (both Tipps); D.Brees, J.Graham (both GIRNT)
GIRNT down by quite a margin going into MNF, but the two players remaining are the deadly Saints duo of QB Drew Brees and TE Jimmy Graham - with those two, most things are possible. Balanced scoring from the 7 who've started so far for Tipps, with QB Tom Brady leading the way with 20, and a trio of others with 14 each. 15 points apiece from RB Rashaad Jennings and WR Torrey Smith for GIRNT, but those two big guns mentioned earlier still have to fire.

Bruschi 54s 80 @ 73 Barry Crockers - YTP G.Tate (54s)
Bruschi 54s had to win this one to keep division hopes alive - and (unofficially) that looks to be what's happened. ANother kicker leading the scoring here - the Colts Adam Vinatieri helping himself to 5 FGs on route to 20 points, with 19 from QB Matthew Stafford and 17 from RB Jamaal Charles adding to the total. Quarterback and kicker also both good positions for Crockers - 26 from Cam Newton and 14 from the Pats kicker Stephen Gostkowski.

Fulchester Fish 100 @ 65 Caracas Firecrackers - YTP P.Harvin (Firecrackers)
This looks like a comfortable win for the Fish as the Firecrackers only have the struggling Percy Harvin remaining. Star performer for the Fish this week was RB Ben Tate with 28 - unfortunately he was on the bench :( Of those actually scoring, RB DeMarco Murray got 27 and QB Josh McCown totalled 22. Firecrackers, unlucky to the last with injuries this year, lost both RBs Stevan Ridley and Andre Ellington to gameday inactives, with zero points also put up by the Denver DST.

WEEK 13 - FINAL SCORES

WESTERN DIVISION
X-Men 105 @ 79 Putney Gooners
Marshawn Lynch didn't do much - it was the Russell Wilson show as the QB threw for over 300 yards and 3 TDs to lift the X-Men comfortably past the Gooners and into a share of first place with Get It Right Next Time. Gooners done for the year.

Crystal Tipps 114 @ 76 GIRNT
Brees and Graham couldn't pull off the magic this time around as the Seahawks took the Saints to the cleaners, leading to a Tipps win. Just 17 points between them, a total almost matched on its own by the Seattle DST with 15. Get It Right Next Time still have a share of first place in the division - they and X-Men, have the title and the wildcard sewn up; just which is which. It's important - don't forget, the home team (the higher seed) has a 10-point start in the semifinals to indicate the fact that they've had a better year.

CENTRAL DIVISION
Portsmouth Pirates 76 @ 105 Cornish Tinners
Marques Colston was another to suffer a poor day along with all the Saints, getting just 2 points. Kicker Hauschka added 10, but the Pirates needed much more than that. Both teams are out of the playoffs.

Forest Tigers 90 @ 139 Chingford Gingers
A huge win for the Gingers, leaving them still in with a chance of pipping the Tigers to the title - and only the division winners will progress to the playoffs. Tigers are still 1 ahead with 1 to play, but a Tigers loss and a Gingers win will mean both finish at 8-6 - head-to-head tiebreaker is level (the two teams shared their games 1-1) so it's down to points scored, where the Gingers have a 25 point advantage.

EASTERN DIVISION
Bruschi 54s 84 @ 73 Barry Crockers
A vital win for the 54s who remain in contention for the Eastern division. Even though Golden Tate could only manage 4 points in the blowout win, this was the 54s game before any action last night unless Tate had a meltdown with 4 fumbles. This means that Crockers are still 1 ahead with 1 to play, but a Crockers loss and a 54s win puts them level at 8-6 and the Bruschi 54s would win the division courtesy of their 2-0 record against Barry Crockers this season.

Fulchester Fish 100 @ 65 Caracas Firecrackers
A Fish win next week would also bring them up to 8-6, but even if Barry Crockers lose. Fish cannot overtake them as an 8-6 Crockers team would still hold the head-to-head tiebreaker advantage - so both these teams are playing for the better draft slots next year.

WEEK 14 SCHEDULE

WESTERN
Crystal Tipps (6-7) @ X-Men (9-4)
GIRNT (9-4) @ Putney Gooners (6-7)

CENTRAL
Forest Tigers (8-5) @ Portsmouth Pirates (3-10)
Chingford Gingers (7-6) @ Cornish Tinners (6-7)

EASTERN
Fulchester Fish (7-6) @ Bruschi 54s (7-6)
Caracas Firecrackers (2-11) @ Barry Crockers (8-5)

WEEK 14 - SCORES IN PROGRESS

WESTERN DIVISION

Crystal Tipps 95 @ 71 X-Men - YTP J.Witten (X-Men)
A stellar 25 points needed from Jason Witten tonight for the X-Men to overtake Crystal Tipps. QB Tom Brady scored best for the Tipps with 22, ably backed up by RBs BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Knowshon Moreno who both managed 16 points. Rookie WR Keenan Allen scored 17 for X-Men, who have already qualified for the playoffs, win or lose, but the title and #1 seed is still up for grabs, because...

Get It Right Next Time 110 @ 86 Putney Gooners - YTP B.Marshall (Gooners)
...this game is also still in the balance with an impressive, but not outlandish, total required by the Gooners from Brandon Marshall tonight to nick the win from GIRNT. QB Drew Brees (28) and his TE Jimmy Graham (17) both scored well for GIRNT along with the Raiders late replacement (and late pick-up the waiver wire by an alert manager!) RB Marcel Reece who managed 21 points. Gooners QB Peyton Manning had another great day with 31 points, and the the Gooners also got good production from their DST Arizona Cardinals (20) and their kicker Nick Novak (14).

CENTRAL DIVISION

Forest Tigers 91 @ 115 Portsmouth Pirates - YTP T.Romo (Tigers), Chicago DST (Pirates)
Another tight finish in prospect, with the Tigers needing to win to guarantee them top spot in the division. 24 behind, but with the two remaining players (Romo for Tigers, Bears DST for Pirates), chances are that the gap will close. Two big scorers for Tigers, RB LeSean McCoy rumbling his way through the blizzards for over 200 yards and 2 TDs accounting for 33 points, and the Chiefs DST, courtesy of two TDS, scoring 26. Three Pirates got over the 20-point mark - WR Marques Colston (24), RB Shane Vereen and TE Charles Clay (both 21) with QB Nick Foles also nearly there with 19. A loss for the Tigers might knock them out of the playoffs because...

Chingford Gingers 84 @ 107 Cornish Tinners - YTP M.Forte, A.Jeffrey (both Gingers), D.Bryant (Tinners)
...there's a lot left to play for in this one as well, and a Gingers win combined with a Tigers loss will put Gingers in at the expense of the Tigers as they have a higher points scored total throughout the season. Unusually the two highest scorers for Gingers came at the TE an K positions - Jordan Cameron with 18 and 49ers kicker Dawson with 16. For the Tinners, WR Josh Gordon continued his outstanding run of games with another 24 points - QB Ben Roethlisberger got 23 and the kicker slot was also a success with Nick Folk matching Dawson's score of 16.

EASTERN DIVISION

Fulchester Fish 67 @ 66 Bruschi 54s - YTP J.McCown, D.Murray (both Fish)
The only division that is settled - Fish looking good for the win here, but all in vain. Very few good scorers on either team, a bit unusual for this week. Kicker Matt Prater and his record-breaking 64-yarder led for the Fish with 17 and WR Larry Fitzgerald got 15 points. The 54s would have been in a sorry state without RB Jamaal Charles whose 27 points accounted for getting on for half of their entire total. Garrett Graham added an OK 13 points from the TE position. The Fish look like going to 8 wins for the season, matching leaders Crockers 8 wins currently, but...

Caracas Firecrackers 56 @ 82 Barry Crockers - YTP M.Bennett (Crockers)
...the Crockers will be moving to 9 wins and the division title with this victory over Caracas Firecrackers. The Firecrackers, unlucky to the last with injuries (Rob Gronkowski injured again :( ) only got double figure scores out of QB Matt Ryan (12) and WR Steve Smith (10). They took over a poor roster at the start of the year, and couldn't really do anything about it. Hopefully, they like a challenge and will be back next year! Balanced output from Crockers with 15s from RB Danny Woodhead and WR Andre Johnson, and 14s from QB Cam Newton and WR Demaryius Thomas.

WEEK 14 - FINAL SCORES

WESTERN DIVISION

Crystal Tipps 95 @ 78 X-Men
Jason Witten scored a touchdown, but it was his only reception of the evening so Crystal Tipps hang on for the win. X-Men through to the playoffs as the wildcard, where they will meet division rivals Get It Right Next Time for the third time this year. Tipps end the regular season in 7th place, but as with all teams not in the playoffs, will still be playing two more games to try and lift themselves up the ladder and secure a higher draft pick for next year.

Get It Right Next Time 110 @ 98 Putney Gooners
Get It Right Next Time living up to their team name - division winners and #1 seed for the playoffs, where they will meet X-Men. As the higher seed, they will have a 10 point start to reward their overall better record. Gooners finish at 6-8 and will play Cornish Tinners in the first consolation game.

CENTRAL DIVISION

Forest Tigers 107 @ 117 Portsmouth Pirates
Oh Forest Tigers! From 3 games up with 3 to play, they went on a 3-game losing run; Chingford Gingers finished with a 3-game winning run and just pipped Tigers at the post. Tony Romo did considerably outscore the Bears DST by 16-2, but it wasn't enough. Tigers will face Fulchester Fish in the consolation games - last years champions Portsmouth Pirates at least end with a win to wrap up a slightly less successful campaign this year and they will face cellar-dwellers Caracas Firecrackers next week.

Chingford Gingers 121 @ 114 Cornish Tinners
Matt Forte (21) and Alshon Jeffrey (14) lifting the Gingers to the title and the playoffs. Nicely timed late run! They end with the #3 seed and will meet Eastern division winners Barry Crockers in the semifinal. Tinners end at 6-8 and will face the Putney Gooners in next week's consolation game.

EASTERN DIVISION

Fulchester Fish 119 @ 66 Bruschi 54s
A huge night in a meaningless cause from Josh McCown as far as the Fish are concerned - McCown threw for 4 TDs and ran one in himself for a grand total of 38 points. DeMarco Murray added 14 as well to take the Fish to a big win. They end up top of the consolation ladder and will play the Forest Tigers. 54s end the year at a level 7-7 and will have a meeting with Crystal Tipps next week.

Caracas Firecrackers 56 @ 86 Barry Crockers
Marcellus Bennett only added 4 points to the Crockers total, but Crockers had this won anyway. This win gives them the Eastern division title and the #2 seed - they will face Chingford Gingers with the bonus of the 10-point start given to the higher seed in each semifinal. Firecrackers, bottom of the pack this year, will meet Portsmouth Pirates.

WEEK 15 FIXTURES

Chingford Gingers @ Barry Crockers

(home teams with 10 point start)

CONSOLATION GAMES
Forest Tigers @ Fulchester Fish

WEEK 15 - SCORES IN PROGRESS

PLAYOFFS
X-Men 90 @ 103 Get It Right Next Time - YTP R.Bush (X-Men), T.Smith (GIRNT)
Just as it should be - all to play for in the first semifinal with Reggie Bush (hopefully) and Torrey Smith yet to go for these two teams. Everybody chipping in for X-Men bar the Saints DST who failed to manage a single point - RB Marshawn Lynch best with 17 points, followed by his QB Russell Wilson and RB Chris Johnson both with 15. Different result from the DST slot for GIRNT - the 49ers put up 18 points, adding to QB Drew Brees' 19 and topscorer RB Rashaad Jennings who scored 22.

Chingford Gingers 100 @ 76 Barry Crockers - completed game
This one's over, and even with the 10 point start the Crockers didn't really get close to living up to their better seeding. The Gingers QB Colin Kaepernick led the way with 19 with good backup from the Panthers DST (16) and K Phil Dawson (17). Crockers unfortunately picked this game to put in a slightly subpar performance with only RB Rashad Mendenhall (18) and QB Cam Newton (15) getting into double figures. Gingers through to the Championship game!

CONSOLATION LADDER
(For some reason, ESPN keeps resetting this 10 point handicap for all home teams, not just the two home teams in the playoffs - I'm leaving it on the ESPN site scoreboard until the scores are final and then deducting it, but I'm deducting it here for the live scoring reviews.)

Forest Tigers 80 @ 125 Fulchester Fish - YTP J.Tucker (Tigers)
With only the kicker to go, and a 45 point deficit, I think this one can safely be given to the Fish. Top scorer this week for the Tigers was Patriots WR Julian Edelman, benefitting from the carnage in the receiving corps at New England - he got 19, with 18 each coming from QB Tony Romo and the KC DST (despite conceding 31 points to the Raiders). Good allround score from the Fish with only TE Antonio Gates letting the side down (just 2) - better scoring came from WR DeSean Jackson (25), RB DeMarco Murray (20), QB Jay Cutler, back on duty, (19) and RB Ryan Matthews (18).

Bruschi 54s 102 @ 96 Crystal Tipps - YTP M.Stafford (54s), C.Johnson (Tipps)
This could go either way, with the 54s wanting TDs from Stafford to any receiver bar Calvin Johnson - and the Tipps wanting TD receptions for Johnson from trick play throws from Reggie Bush! (Or something like that.) 54s were the lucky recipient of the season's best individual performance from RB Jamaal Charles - 5TDs, over 200 yards and 51 points, exactly half the 54s total. RB Zac Stacy added a useful 20, though no help at all from WR Stevie Johnson who failed to score. The Tipps also had a zero on their roster - RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis - but good scoring from QB Ryan Tannehill and the Seattle DST (both 24) and WR Mike Wallace (17) keeps this one interesting.

Cornish Tinners 113 @ 131 Putney Gooners - completed game
High-scoring battle here - but it's over and the higher seeded Gooners come out on top. Good scoring on both sides (lowest score for a player on either team was 8 points). 21 from WR Dez Bryant and 16 from the Colts DST for the Tinners, with the Gooners answering with 23 from RB Eddie Lacy and 22 from WR Greg Jennings.

Caracas Firecrackers 34 @ 98 Portsmouth Pirates - completed game
Firecrackers seem to have been suffering from the rain - more the damp squibs this week with the lowest score of the year so far. (It doesn't help when you're only starting 7 players.) K Blair Walsh the only man in double figures with 12. Pirates QB Nick Foles came within 2 points of beating the Firecrackers on his own (33), and the WR pair of Pierre Garcon and Marques Colston combined for another 33.

WEEK 15 - FINAL SCORES

PLAYOFFS
X-Men 105 @ 109 Get It Right Next Time
Reggie Bush suited up and had a decent day with 15 points, but although Torrey Smith could only manage 6, GIRNT just got home. The number 1 seeds are through to the championship game where they will meet the Chingford Gingers.

Chingford Gingers 101 @ 76 Barry Crockers
Colin Kaepernick somehow gained an extra point last night without playing - fortunately it wasn't game-changing!

CONSOLATION LADDER
Forest Tigers 103 @ 125 Fulchester Fish
Justin Tucker gave it a magnificent effort with 6 field goals, two from over 50 yards, and a season best performance from a kicker with 23 points - too much work for the Forest Tigers to do though. Fish remain on top of the consolation ladder, Tigers drop down a bit.

Bruschi 54s 109 @ 105 Crystal Tipps
No TDs for either Stafford or Johnson on a disappointing night from both players - so Bruschis slender lead going into the game just holds up. They improve their ladder placing and will meet the Fish next week for the prize of the #1 draft spot next year.

Cornish Tinners 113 @ 131 Putney Gooners

Caracas Firecrackers 34 @ 98 Portsmouth Pirates

WEEK 16 FIXTURES
