When do the new players score from?

Is it from the next game played or star of the next round?

It's a good question and reading the game rules I am still unsure. I'm presuming from next game played and made transfers this morning just in case that is correct? Won't be surprised though if that isn't the case. And certainly the captain sticks with you for the weekend.

Think it's clear from the game rules that transfers in during the weekend count as long as you do it before the published kick off time - except for the captain.

That's how I read it, but I also read the ESPN rule about amending your captain as many times as you want.

5 new transfers arrive on Monday and you lose the ones you haven't used I think. So I presume it's use before designated match to score points.

Having a look at the points scored, it has so far favoured the Forwards. Unfortunately it does not give how the points allocated are broken down. Or is it me because I can't read the table of scorers properly.

I've just clicked. If you go in to the players list you have to click on each individual player to get the points break down. Unfortunately you can't get a table for turn overs, unless somebody can point me in the right direction.

League table after week one.

Looks like a fair few managers have been dipping into this weeks transfers already.

Well, when lagging behind, one must gamble. Happy I captained Joseph.
One question though, RWC stats one place above me says he captained Joseph in the top bar yet on the pitch graphic it shows Farrell as Captain and Joseph is not on the graphics.
Well happy watching that game with my friend Christophe as now it's his rounds in the bar tonight. :D

Just a reminder, for those who are working tomorrow and get miss led in to an unexpected night out after work drinkies. The teams are out and you can transfer tonight with confidence.

Think I've missed a trick on this.

My interpretation of the rules is that if you have a Welsh or French captain selected at noon last Saturday they will score double points tonight and then you can change it tomorrow before noon to score double points tomorrow afternoon.

Mine's still on Joseph!

Any thoughts?

I think you can change your captain at any time until he plays. My guess is as good as yours.

Well, this is what they say but I still don't quite get it

Choose one player to be the captain of your team. Your chosen captain will remain your team captain until you transfer him or change captain to another player in your team. This player will DOUBLE his game points during the time he remains as captain. If no captain is chosen, no player will receive double points.
You can change your captain as often as you like, but only the player selected as captain at the captain submission deadline of 12:00 (Midday) GMT each Saturday will receive double points for matches taking place in the following 7 days. Any subsequent changes to your captain will not take effect until the next captain submission deadline i.e. 12:00 (Midday) GMT the following Saturday.

Fiso now have 2 teams in the top ten, 3 in the top 30, and 4 in the top 100.
Yet they drop one place to 6th in the league of leagues.
The mystery for me is how G Davies scored so little, showing up how the scoring system is favouring the forwards overwhelmingly.
Anyway, well done lads lets keep driving for that line :D

Wow, this is tight, as Exeter Gently have Five to play today, Odd Shaped balls with Two to play and a Transfer in the bag. With Don't Crossmolina with two to play and a transfer. And a shout to HC Heroes, who sit 5th in the Weekly National table, with Two to play ,one transfer in the bag.
The guy who is in first in the National is well ahead, so it looks like an outside chance of one of us, with a lot of luck could get on to the podium.

This is our top ten

1 Exeter Gently 1035
2 Odd shaped ball boys 1035
3 Dont Crossmolina 1034
4 HC Heroes 1033
5 A Laidlaw Unto Itself 1007
6 Walkley 956
7 Duke Nukem RFC 921
8 Maldini XV 915
9 Boddington 905
10 PATHETICO ATHLETICO 894

Fiso are sitting 6th in the League of Leagues, a respectable position considering it's size and them taking the average.

One must take note, Walkley and Maldini are sitting on Four transfers, with a great chance to make that final push.

That was a Hardie decision OSB's, so I've gambled on the cabbage man Chouly. :D

Good look to every body. It's Fofana (Exeter Gently) that worries me. He's back.

Great game but the player to have to steal a good position was Moriaty. Two tries and came off the bench
