Presumably the MOM name was sent by the Tele to GFM after GFM's office had closed for the weekend ! When I saw early this afternoon that "TBA" had been inserted,in place of the ?,I e-mailed them my views via "Contact Us" that they would lose a lot of TFF entries next August,if they don't get this ridiculous situation sorted out very quickly, but I don't expect a reply until about Monday lunchtime, probably informing me that "this announcement will be made next Wednesday"even though it will already have been on the TFF website for several hours by then no doubt.
Further to this i just went in and checked again and the TBA has been now been removed as well and nothing put in its place!

It now says.... To be announced

So someone there must have thought that no-one would be able to understand the abreviation TBA then!!!!

Not sure that Crouch will get a KC.

If im honest i quite liked MOM when it first got introduced! but it really has become a shambles! espically when the chelsea/newcastle one was posted within an hour of the result. and the likes of judio/bram are having to email the tele/winter for confirmation on another rubbish decision!

Farcical though it is, it's somehow nice for FISO to have broken the news exclusively on Friday evening, with further backup on Sunday morning, still before the official site lets all the game players know.

Hopefully Mr Winter will let his bosses know that people were moved to email him just to find out a decision he probably made by 10pm on Thursday night!

It's a slim possibility, but the cross didn't take out many defenders and Sheringham had to turn with the ball before crossing to Reo Coker, so I think it's unlikely.

On Crouch, his header, although slight, crucially put Garcia through and he only touched it twice which would not normally rule out a KC. In fact, if they listen to the MOTD commentary which suggests that Carragher went over to tell Reina to knock it down the right wing, they could conceivably give Reina a KC as well. I'm not that hopeful though, but I'm pretty confident Crouch should get one.

Edit to correct keyboard jumping on the 'r' key

For what it's worth, I think Crouch, Harewood and Gudjohnsen will all get KCs.

Sounds a Bit Comical

Chris Perry hoists a free-kick deep into the Newcastle box from halfway and it is flicked goalwards by Hermann Hreidarsson. Craig Moore tries to clear but succeeds only in smashing the ball against Lee Bowyer and it cannons off his shins and into the net.

Did Viduka get a touch to Queudrue's free-kick for the 3-1 goal?

And does anyone know the current rule on KCs for penalties scored at the second attempt? I know they never used to be given, but this season they've started giving KCs for open-play goals where the player scores after his first shot is saved.
