From reading the BBC there is no way in hell Matt Taylor will get that. Apparently Stephen Taylor trod on the ball; now if thats not a significant deflection, I don't know what is.

You cant cover up your mistakes; it was stephen taylor who stood on the ball. Newcastle defender. My mate down the pub watching the Arab channels just confirmed.

Also, how many weeks are we going to have to say on this thread that TFF is about KCs NOT assists - they are not the same thing.

From my post it read that Matt Taylor stood on the ball, and Benjani scored from in, which would be an assist. Actually STEPHEN Taylor cut out MATT Taylor's cross, and Benjani scored from it.

I've seen the Ronaldo goal twice at normal speed. I only think Rooney took 2 touches before the ball went to Ronaldo, so outside possibility of whoever passed the ball? Mind you there was a slight defection going across so not sure if that might negate the first ball to Rooney.

Bram do you not think Adebayor will get one for the Rosicky goal? seemed a bit unclear whether Hunt touched it as Rosicky stole in front of him perhaps will get the benefit of the doubt?

..yes I have him!

Freeze-framing the various replays it looked certain that either Hunt chested it down or Rosicky used his arm. As there were no squeals from the defenders or debate in the studio afterwards, I'm inclined to believe it was Hunt.

I could be wrong though.

Baines (-) - Dont think there will be a KC, only seen it once and it looked like the defender headed out.
