Robinson took a free kick just outside his own box. Booted towards the box, boounces just inside the box and bounces over Fosters head. I think he was expecting a defensive header / clearance
I can only assume you sat behind a pillar or something. I watched the game with friends and we all commented on the number of times that Rooney gave the ball away, was on the wrong wavelength, over or under-played passes etc. We all thought Roo was well below his best today (even those with him in their TFF teams ). By contrast, Ronaldo was so brilliant in the first half that the others could have played for another 10 hours after he went off and would not have achieved as much as him.HOOTER wrote:I was at the Man United game.
