confused with the 2nd middlesborough goal - both Crabby (in the chit chat thread) and now Bram have considered a possible assist for Downing, alongside Viduka. I watched MOTD last night and the commentator said the ball to Viduka was from Arca. I re-watched this morning and it certainly didn't look like the ball came from Downing (who was wearing white boots) - how come both crabby and Bram have named Downing? I would love them to be right, but am confused :?

Spurs 4 -1 Bolton

Keane (Berbatov) slight possibility for assist for Robinson
Jenas (Keane)
Keane (Chimbonda) another slight possibility for a 2nd assist but I think Chimbonda did too much
Speed (-) Penalty from Keane's Handball for which he was sent off!
Lennon (Malbranque,Berbatov)

Watched all the Replays on ESPN live and saw the last goal live.

Wigan 1 -0 Newcastle

Ryan Taylor (-)

Also Solano had his penalty saved by the Wigan reserve keeper John Filan.

Blackburn 3 -0 Portsmouth

Nonda (-) Campbell Header will negate Bentley KC
Nonda (Derbyshire, possibly Bentley)
Warnock (Nonda, possibly Derbyshire)

Also Nonda had a Penalty saved by David James, would have been a MGP Assist had he scored!!

I'm pretty sure it was Arca as well, watched it about 3 times after taping match of the day. Think Viduka and Yak did too much for additional assist.(not that I would ever want to question the more senior FISO members)

You must feel like Santa delivering gifts each Sunday evening. (Except that your presents are usually rubbish. No offence)

Yep, the normal rubbish.

(SL leader has Viduka and Berbs, gap increases to 9 points now - I was about 30 points ahead only 2 weeks ago!)

I make it 2 assists for him too. I can't think of a better candidate than Berbatov to get it, Keane got sent off or he might've got it.

Sorry, i have been experimenting with how obvious you have to make a 'wink' remark without having to actually use the wink.

Still a work in progress i think :?

Berbatov DEFINATELY deserved it. He was scarily good today. I didnt go with the 3for0 purely because they were tough (and away) games and im gutted cause I was a really big Berb fan in this game from the moment he arrived (and when he played for Bayer!).

Surprised at the Cahill decision. I thought Johnson and Arteta were excellent.

Maybe they already had 2 Aussies and thought, why not go for the hat-trick.

Agreed, I also thought it would be AJ. Plus didn't Cahill miss a sitter, smashing it over the bar?

Too much to watch tonight, so MotD2 was relegated to the video, but here's yesterday's potential KCs. But first, yes the unlikely KC for 'Boro's 2nd goal should be Arca, mistaken identity there. I still don't reckon he'll get it though.

*** Confirmed on TFFO ***

Blackburn 3-0 Portsmouth
Nonda (-)
Nonda (Derbyshire)
Warnock (Derbyshire, Nonda)

Tottenham 4-1 Bolton
Keane (Berbatov)
Jenas (Keane)
Keane (Tainio, Chimbonda)
Speed (-)
Lennon (Berbatov, Malbranque)

Wigan 1-0 Newcastle
Taylor (-)

A second Berbatov KC? No one mentioned this earlier. A couple of hours ago we learned he got MOTM, and now another KC too? I'm getting destroyed by this. It's bad enough him scoring points during the day every time he plays - now you're telling me he also collects another 3 points every couple of hours through the night too?

I was thinking (hoping  ) that Bently's throw to Derbyshire for Nonda's second goal would be a KC, but wasn't sure if they give them for throw ins, but I don't see why not? It was a quick throw down the line that took out a couple of defenders, and I don't think Derbyshire took more than a couple of touches.

They do sometimes, but usually it has to be a long throw direct into the penalty area. Anyway, he didn't get one according to TFFO, nor did Arca. Everything as predicted apart from no to Arteta and yes to Tainio.

When you've been a member of Fiso as long as some of us, you'll learn that a rapier should be the last resort, when you have a sledge-hammer handy. Mind you it took me years to learn this.

How many KCs for Downing? 1,2 or 0.

Must admit I was surprised but pleased you thought Arteta would get one. Just dissapointed now :(

Felt Berb would do well yesterday and the leader has him (I have had him twice but not currently  ) As an insurance policy I backed his goal minutes....should have guessed 2 assists and another MOTM would result
