Saha is named MOTM on the website. Looks a little different from what ive seen before but it names him as MOTM...

dukeg's post may be correct so far as the website goes, I don't know. I'm just telling you what it says in the first edition of tomorrow's paper. I have the organ in my hand, so to speak. I'm presuming it's the ones in the paper that count, and that they don't change their minds between editions. Could be wrong on either count, you guys will know.

and yes, it's the Telegraph. I didn't say because I thought you would all assume that, this being a TFF forum !

(isn't it?)

Dont worry Tonyp, these people are just confused and blame you because you're new. Strange anomoly if you've read your 1st edition right, because it DEFINATELY says Saha on the website. But im more inclined to believe the paper than the site...

TFF uses the Daily Telegraph reporters' MOTM and NOT the Sunday Telegraph's.

Maybe that is the source of confusion.

I've no idea what the Telegraph website uses.....

Good grief, what an ungrateful shower!

I'm trying to do you a favour here!!

I know the difference between the Sunday Telegraph and the Daily Telegraph, and I'm getting quite good at reading now - having been a journalist for the last 30 years.

I don't think I'll bother next week!

Think we will have to wait till it is after mdnight then with the reports posted on the web. All the reports on the website were posted on 12th (Sunday) which may account for the difference? :D

Much appreciated it is too, although it might not seem it. MOTM is a bit of a contentious issue with many of the awards going to slightly odd places, so wouldn't take too much offence with it! :D

I think the Sunday Telegraph comment was aimed at the website predictions, as for my comment it was a bit of fun.

Chill out a bit - no-ones really given you a hard time, I am sure you can see where the confusion is coming from.

I'm believing you!

I just checked the reporter form the Man U game on the Telegraph website and he isn't on Judio's table of reporters giving MOTMs to date.

My guess is the website shows the sunday paper's reports which are different to the monday's papers.

I've always checked at this time of day and the website has been right. Would be strange if they threw a curve ball up but I wouldn't put it past them.

I will get one MOM either way (Saha/Ronaldo) so it's not a biggy to me.

All the above in bold are confirmed on the website now. Can't find the Villa report yet.

Looks like the previous ones mentioned from the website were from the Sunday online reports.

Flamini (Hleb, Fabregas)
Toure (van Persie)
Gallas (van Persie)

Reading 3-1 Tottenham
Keane (Ghaly)

..... both, by the looks of things. The links posted earlier are copies of reports from the Sunday Telegraph. They haven't previously quoted MotMs, so perhaps they're trying to confuse us. Looks like it worked!

Bizarre - I'm fairly confident that they've not done this before.

I guess that first and foremost it is a newspaper. The FF bit is secondary.

Click on Sport, then Football, then click on the club badges and look for a report dated Monday. If the latest one is Sunday then it's the wrong one.

The Villa report is there as well and it is McCann.

What..you mean all those MOTMs I posted were right? That's spooky....

...because I made 'em all up !!!

What are the odds on that happening? Hmmmmm?

If you're very lucky I'll send you another 11 guesses next Sunday.

I now retire to bed, organ still clutched firmly in my hand!
