I've not seen the Rooney penalty incident, but descriptions here sound exactly like an incident around last christmas involving Brian McBride (I think) - no KC was given. IMO it's not fair, but it's their rules. :?

Not if the shot is outside the box?
Thats not quite what i asked tho java. There have been kc's given for shots outside the box, but im actually asking if Lamps would also get one IF Terry does, not whether there will be a kc or not. Unless shots outside the box negate 2 kc's??
Sorry Jez - I was asking if the shot was outside as I only had text commentry which said 30 yard shot (hence outside the box) which normally negates a KC

Fingers the Big B man is wrong for a change; behest the idea of being beaten by my little brother, and that big rouge card JT was shown certaintly didn't help the defecit. Calculations are that I need two of Terry assist/Cahill MOTM (see the poll)/G.Neville MOTM/Saha MOTM/Gerrard MOTM/Robinson MOTM to get.

Fingers crossed.

Though I bet the six people without Terry are all laughing.

Strange. Whenever i click a club's badge on the telegraph website the page i get is blank white screen. Forever. Isnt it supposed to show a list of articles relating to the club? (Including the ones dated 6th Nov with MoTM if its up yet).

If this is working normally for anyone i would appreciate a link (to test).

I normally enter each club name in the Telegraph search engine (more often than not it then brings up articles for other Premiership Clubs with their MOTM :? )...

POLL RESULTS:

BOL-WIG: Boyce: Sky ratings and viewer ratings didn't even have Boyce in race.
WAT-MID: Bouazza. 22% agree. Young highest
CHA-MAC: Carson. Forum agrees.
FUL-EVE Jensen. Forum Agrees.
LIV-RED Kuyt. 35% agrees. Gerrard highest.
MAN-POR Neville. Forum agrees.

So, of the six I put polls up for, apart from Bolton, all the picks were either the top rated or the second top rated.

As a survey, I think we can say the Telegraph did pretty well. Though...

Is that the first time that EVERY man of the match was on the winning team? (Obviously ignoring draws, which were non-existant this weekend)

gutted about the neville one, even though i knew it was coming - primarily because he was in most of my teams for a long time, but i swapped him out en-mass recently :(

Was hopeful of a Gerrard one, but DK's second goal cemented it for him. There's going to be a hell of a lot more managers putting him in their teams now.

Went to the game, Gary Neville was superb all afternoon, Rooney was Good but not IMO the best player on the pitch.

It was between Neville and Scholes in my opinion for man of the match.

I watched the game live on the net and agree that Neville deserved it. Surprised you mention Scholes as it seemed he had quite a quiet (though no doubt quietly effective) game. I suspect that might illustrate how different a game can look when you are actually at the match rather than watching on an internet stream.

Completely agree with that, Scholes dictated most of the play and was excellent but Neville was superb, a rock at the back and a real threat going forward. Definitely deserved the man of the match award. I'd have preferred Rooney, but Neville definitely deserved it.
