Why oh why do you all keep saying control?

The key word is posession. You don't have to be in control, just to have touched the ball and thus be in posession.

PS. I haven't seen either penalty yet.

I disagree. If a player has just received a pass and gets floored while he's doing so he'll get a KC, but he wouldn't be classed as in control.

Sorry, fell alseep during the 2nd half - probably the most boring 2nd half of a game I have ever watched.

Petrov cut inside, without the movement, the pen would not have been given.
I would have thought he would get a KC
Petrov is not in my side btw.

Just watched the Chelsea game from tape...Lampard will get a KC for the first goal as Robben squared his defence-splitting pass first time directly into the path of Shevchenko. Matt Taylor will also definitely get a KC for the Pompey goal - he was on the ground, but clearly passed it directly to the goal scorerer.

robben's cross got a slight deflection though i'm not sure if it will be enough to negate a KC for lampard.

Thanks Bram - Stayed online especially tonight for your views on the Lampard KC. I wasn't sure myself, so I'm relieved that you've also said yes. :D :D

Might make all the difference in my works auction league, especially as I decided to stick with Shovehapenny (sorry Murf - not sure of spelling ) and I also got rid of my Portsmouth defence for a mixture of Everton and Arsenal !!!

Keep up the great work.

I reviewed it several times afterwards and if there was a deflection it really didn't seem significant. Certainly not as much as the one after Shev had struck it (which won't affect KCs because the ball was on the way in).

Wigan 4-0 Man City
Heskey (poss Boyce) As long as the defenders touch wasn't deemed significant
Dunne og (Skoko)
Camara (prob Kilbane, Baines) I don't think the defenders simultaneous touch with Camera was significant
Valencia (Heskey)
Someone tries to take you on every week so I'm going to have a crack this time :D

I don't think it was a simultaneous touch for Camara's goal, more that the defender's clearance struck Camara and went in. I'm expecting no KCs for it.

I know I'll be wrong, though :?

It was actually over just before 60 seconds :)

Henry (Fabregas) will be the most common goal this season. Not a new prediction but it really really looks like those two players' games fit together beautifully.

Dave Bassett said Fabregas on Sky Sports News

If you watched the goal you could see it was Rosicky

Dont rely on any other source apart from someone on here SEEING the goals

To be fair i wasnt relying on other sources, hence why i asked. I noticed on five live that the reporter at the game said rosicky, his sidekick said after a 1-2 with "fabregas i think" when he had a turn of describing the goal - figured he had just forgotten who it was. Another description is now saying Fabregas ran down the right with it in the build up but i'll assume whatever he did with it didnt constitute a KC and i'll respect your opinions.

Surely not that many people with have jussi, although out of all the non top 4 keepers he's surely the pick of the bunch to have :?
