Rooney / Fabregas = 2 KC's
Brilliant, totally unexpected and quality news. Makes up for Giggs getting MOM. I half expected Fabregas to get 2 but not Rooney.

To be honest I have Rooney and think that's a joke!
Based on past KC decisions I just don't see it.

OH my Rage in Rooney getting the second one.

Ole IMO did far to much.

I agree but I'm certainly not complaining. I reckon TFF have been swayed by the extravagance of the flick! Or maybe they were a bit embarrased that he missed out on MOM and so thought they'd compensate with the dubious KC! Wonder if he'd have been given it if the reporter had given him MOM.

And he was outside the box too! Doesn't make any sense based on past decisions.

Looks like one rule for Roo.....

I don't have Rooney BTW, can't afford him!

Solksjaer was in the box when he scored.

Solskjaer's Goal was INSIDE

Where Rooney was at the time of the flick is Irrelevant

Just watched MOTD 2

They have been generous but there IS a case for Meite, Fabregas AND Rooney being given KCs

I agree, although if I didn't have the players in question (bar Meite) I'd probably disagree. But there is definitely a case for it, particularly Fabregas IMO as his pass split the entire defence and therefore was the major reason for the goal.

I'd give the whole Watford defence KC's for the 3rd goal, they all played a great part in playing 1. Henry onside. 2. Not marking him and 3. Allowing him to cut right through the middle of them.

IMO - If Rooney gets one Andrew Jonhson should as well.

Can't remember how many touches Cahill had 4 I think which usually cancels the KC out, he also kind of beat a player but Solksjaer IMO definately did far too much for a Rooney KC.

Johnson didn't even pass the ball

Cahill took the ball off him

Rooney's flick was more of a KC than AJ's

I assume you have AJ and not Rooney

I agree with Crompton but of course I have AJ and not Rooney!

What I was saying earlier was the OGS recieved the ball outside of the box, then if I remember correctly beat 2 Defenders and the goalkeeper. Wasn't Cahill's similar?

Anyway, quite happy with 2 for Fabregas, takes me over the 40 mark this week , not bad considering I had 2 CHavski defenders that didn't play.

I think I'll stick to hoping for K(F)C's in the future!

Thought Rooneys 2 KC's were on the cards. I saw enough from him to warrent the 'dubious' KC. I sometimes think a decision is made on these type due to the manner in which the player performed the move. If it is of good quality and sight, then a dubious one is more likely. A trend over the last few years I have noticed, but only every now and then.

Just as suprised an Meite's.

My thoughts are starting to wonder on Murphy. If he becomes a regular XI, which I think he will, then good VFM for me. Has enough in his game to get a few more MOM's at least. Plus, he can put a good ball in, where Spurs will get quite a few of their goals from crosses.

My posts now updated with confirmed KCs. Well done chaser for first spotting the possibility of a Meite KC. Perhaps having both Meite and Rooney made me over cautious in their cases, but their awards (and Fabregas) goes into refining future predictions. I've checked a few other remote possibilities and none have been given, so I think that's it.

Fulham 2-1 Charlton

McBride (Jensen C) Charlton player and Queudrue I think missed flick on
Jensen C (Rosenior)
Bent D (Thomas) kicked ball away from defender to Bent but difficult to spot as he was on ground at the time

Shows that they only seem to watch the second half of games, Giggs on saturday and Mcbride , who i didn't even realise was playing until the 60th minute!

mcbride scored the goal that broke the deadlock i suppose, although it could be argued that the introduction of jensen effectively changed the game in fulham's favour.

of course, had they gave it to jensen loads of people would complain as he only played 30 mins!! :)

Jensen got 9pts on TFFO.
Goal + KC + Sub Pt

is that a fair call on a KC or not?
haven't seen the goal but heard it was outside box - some very very dubious KC decisions this week

The definition of long-range does not equal the penalty box. For instance, within the D usually results in a KC. Roughly speaking you can shoot from up to two yards outside and still get KC(s). A lot of it depends on how many defenders were taken out by the cross vs how many were still between the striker and the goal when he shot.

Although given the players managed to play at the weekend before flying to Moscow, I guess the odd journalist could have attended the game before flying to Moscow as well.

Dont know if this is the right place, but received email from telegraph fantasy football yesterday, they are going to send twice weekly emails, as they state :
Each Monday you'll get a review of who scored what at the weekend including those all-important Key Contribution and Man-of-the-Match points, while every Thursday you'll get a comprehensive preview of the weekend ahead to help you decide which players to bring in and which players to get rid of.

could be good, but hopefully wont spoil the banter that goes on this forum currently
