thank god for that. Got Olly in a few teams, and the booking was bad enough thank you very much!
I echo that thought Snowy

Bentley (Jeffers)

Dunno what the opinion of Jeffers is down south but he came up here to Rangers with talk of how he's known as "Fox in the Box". Couldnt manage a single goal for Rangers in 6 months (plenty of starts). He left as an absolute joke of a footballer with the phrase "Fox in the Box" becoming an ironic/sarcastic tagline.

*** Now confirmed on TFFO ***

Man United 2-0 Newcastle
Solskjaer (Ronaldo)
Solskjaer (Vidic)

Tottenham 2-1 Portsmouth

West Ham 0-1 Reading
Seol (-)

Blackburn 2-1 Wigan
Heskey (Boyce)
Bentley (Jeffers)
McCarthy (Roberts)

 Yes, too busy trying to check whether the defender knocked the ball out, I forgot the original cross. You're right, of course, thanks.

As the main talking point from the Spurs match was Zakora's dive, it's nice to see that the Telegraph are endorsing this by giving him MOTM.

Didn't see the game so can't comment on whether his award was warranted but it's dissapointing to reward cheating.

I didn't see the game but raised ab eyebrow when I saw the MOM's. I might be useful is the reporters actually stated their reasons for the decision!

Woodgate was nothing more than solid and was at fault for one of the goals.
Sidwell played well, but the radio commentary mentioned Sonko's performance constantly. (Sidwell heading the ball off the line in the last minute gave him the award imo)(Sonko should have pushed him out of the way for it!)
Brown came on at half time and saved a penalty and get's it!
Zakora gave an all action display, but shouldn't be rewarded for cheating.

Just my opinion.

I really hope they scrap this next season (I know its been done to death) but I watched extended highlights of the matches and Woodgate was nowhere near MOTM !!!! not even close !!!! Im sure the reporters have a lookon here, and do it for the rise !!!!

As for Zakora - again a disgraceful decision, he will be remembered only for his Greg Louganis impressions.

I know this whole thing is pretty subjective, but the fairest would be a panel of 5 actually at the game - even if thats from different papers !!

And as that isnt going to happen, it needs scrapping to save us from weekly incredulous threads about "how the hell did that happen!!"

I do find it funny when people think reporters do it as a laugh or to p*ss off fantasy football players!! FFS most people in the country don't give a flying f*ck about fantasy football. I doubt reporters givefantasy Football even a nano seconds thought when selecting their MOTM

I bet most reporters do have teams, Winter certainly does. Doubt they pick MOM's to annoy us, but I do think the choices are too random to form part of TFF, there's money at stake here, well not for me, perhaps only pride for me!

I think it's good they allow someone who actually plays TFF to pick Man of the Match. Maybe they should give everyone else who plays a go.

Although Winter did say on the podcast that who he has in his team doesn't affect his Man of the Match decision. :? :?
