Last year I could occasionally get them off the website during today (it's now Monday in Australia) but I would think they will hold off until they've sold a load of papers on Monday morning in England.

Hopefully someone will post them in about 6 hours!

MOMs from the website...

Bowyer (West Ham)
Armstrong (Sheff Utd)
Doyle (Reading)
Campbell (Pompey)
Johnson (Everton)
Essien (Chelsea)
Rooney (Man Utd)
Mellberg (Villa)
Campo (Bolton)

For some reason there is a blank in the Newcastle game's MOM field. It seems from the report that it will go to Ameobi.

To be honest I think it should only be classed as an own goal if the player actually makes an attempt to play the ball. If it's a shot that a player can't avoid, it should just be classed as a deflection. So neither Andy Johnson's or Ferdinand's should have been own goals. Whereas Ian Pearce's today was an OG.
And that goal was worth 8 points!

Am I the first this season to complain about MOMs for goalscorers??? Hooray!

motm's seem to be fairly unimportant this week dont think too many will have those players other than AJ and some with Rooney.

roney off to a storming start though. It'll be interesting to see whether Henry can match his points tally by the time rooney gets back..

If you read the rest of my post - you'll see I agree that it was Andy Johnson's goal.

It was still off target.

Don't cancel that opticians appointment just yet!

The only one I had was Essien...

Unfortunately that was cancelled out by Rio Ferdinand - that one was counted as an OG right??

Seems to be 2 opinions here!

I think I've missed the boat on the Ferdinand og debate. I didn't think it was, thought the goal Johnson was given was more of an og.

But you might now be able to guess who I have and haven't got in my team!

Arsenal 1-1 Aston Villa
Mellberg (Davis)
Silva (van Persie, poss Walcott) Not sure how much of a deflection the defender got before it hit RvP's head

From what i see under player points in TFFO, 1 pt for btoh Van Persie and walcott, thus no assist

Newcastle 2-1 Wigan
Parker (Ameobi)
McCulloch (poss Heskey) McCulloch may have done too much
Ameobi (N'Zogbia)

Also 3pts for heskey , so must be assist, presuming he was booked

Also Rio -1 so credited with OG

Not this season. It's 2 for being in the starting XI and 1 if you come on as a sub. You don't lose if you go off, even if it's only after 5 minutes.

Thanks and now confirmed. For future reference, would you say that the initial shot (Saha) would need to be first or second touch for the crosser (Neville) to get a KC?
