Now live! Low prize fund.

Messi and Ronaldo a snip at 7.5m each!

You have a £50million budget to put together a team made up of Europe’s finest players in one of six formations. The better your players perform in the knock-out stages of the Champions League, the more points you’ll score.

4 x TRANSFER WINDOWS

Transfer changes made up to the earliest scheduled start of play come into effect the same day. Transfer changes made after this time will come into effect for matches played from the following day. There are four separate transfer windows during this game:

1. Pre-competition

Make unlimited transfers up until the first kick-off at 7.45pm on Tuesday, February 17.

2. Round of 16

You can make 12 transfers between 8pm on February 17 and 7.45pm on March 18.

3. Pre-quarter finals

You can make 11 changes between R16 and the quarter finals - from 00:01am on March 19 to 7.45pm on April 14.

4. Quarters, semis, final

From 8pm on April 14, you'll have 24 transfers at your disposal until the scheduled kick-off of the final- 7.45pm on Saturday, June

Looks like the transfers don't carry over after each deadline - use them or lose them?

Prizes are a bit naff as well...

Some comparisons

2014 prize fund was £8,000; for 2015 it's £2,000 in total

2014 overall top five:
1 Dean Burdin, Block4, 482 points; £5,000
2 Chris Humble, PSG4, 481; £1,000
3 Geoff Pryor, Francis4, 476; £500
4 Philip Dines, LilyBarca, 473; £300
5 David Dixon, goldfinch, 464; £200

2014 top league was Fiso Forum; £500 prize shared by:
1 Philip Dines, LilyBarca, 473, 4th
2 Randal MacIlraith, ParisMadrid, 452, 8th
3 Chris Younger, Forever England, 436, 25th
3 Richard Kellard, Ricks Atletico, 436, 25th
5 Richard Kellard, Ricks Rovers, 433, 29th

2014 entries totalled just over 10,000

There were 30 transfers available in 2014.
For 2015:
  • • Transfer amnesty lasts up to 19.45 GMT on Tues 17 Feb (first KO match).
    • Round 16 transfers capped at 12 between 20.00 17 Feb and 19.45, March 18 (last R16 fixture).
11 transfers available between 00:00 on March 19 and 19.45 on April 14 (start of QFs). *
    • Transfer cap of 24 between 20:00 on April 14 and 19.45 on Jun 6 (the Final).

    * So no one should make any change after the Round of 16 until just before the first QF match.
Taken literally, an injured selection can't be removed if all 11 transfers have been used.

A Two-Footed Challenge SL has also been set up: there's no entry fee but a Fiso mug as the prize...

If you have two spare sides, please post team-names on the separate thread below to request league PIN:
