Re: Anyone else not manage to get on TFF website?
Does anyone from the telegraph post on here?
Im left with Neymar and have been denied the chance to twice take him out for RVP and Costa.
Very poor tonight by TFF.
I shall be emailing and requesting a refund, I suggest everyone else do likewise.

Re: Anyone else not manage to get on TFF website?
Could be a blessing in disguise... I'd only planned 3 or 4 transfers today (Robben RVP and Costa), and was going to make a 50/50 decision on whether to go for iniesta. They've not scored crazy high (pending the spain result), so maybe those 3/4 transfers can make more points for my team later down the line.

I too have failed in my bid to waste a few more transfers!! Failed to bring in robben due to the site going down and I've failed to bring in any Spanish players. That said, as pssd off as I am, I'm not quite sure who I would have put in!! Lets say....Silva!!

Too late now anyway, Spain have already made 150 passes.

Re: Anyone else not manage to get on TFF website?
To some extent the result of the first crash 4.40-5.00 pm is not too serious as the most popular picks only got 6 and 7 pts respectively.
As regards tonight's game surely not too many people were going to bring in Costa. As regards Spanish midfielders the demand would have existed but been limited, and as regards defenders who is adding them at this stage of the game?
Obviously some transfers were required for current failures but less for out and out new picks. Lets again hope for something like a 1-1 draw with Busquets scoring at both ends.

Re: Anyone else not manage to get on TFF website?
So everyone already with Dutch or Spanish players in tonight have now got a clear advantage over my teams.
Costa at this point was key to my strategy which is now in tatters.

But I am expecting to win the overall by 1-2 points. When you now win by 5 points striker I expect you to the decent thing and give me the prize moneyStriker wrote:To some extent the result of the first crash 4.40-5.00 pm is not too serious as the most popular picks only got 6 and 7 pts respectively.

(Also those wanting to bring in both Robben + RVP lost 13 points)

Well part of my strategy was Brazilian players, avoiding the difficult Spain game vs Holland and then loading up on Dutch and Spanish players today.Giggs11 wrote:Achiles74 wrote:So everyone already with Dutch or Spanish players in tonight have now got a clear advantage over my teams.

With the knowledge that Spain play twice before Brazil.
That's has gone ***** up now, and I was doing very well.
I feel TFF has cost me my chance today.
Some free credits for next season along with a refund are in order.

Maybe they ought to be asking for an ounce of common sense instead.
After the problems with the Dutch game, I did my transfers at 6.50pm as soon as the teams were named. Did about 20 transfers no problem at all.

Bully for you but you don't really grasp the point do you? The fact is that not everyone can do that and the site should not fail because it's busy

Re: Anyone else not manage to get on TFF website?
update
Telegraph Fantasy Football Official The IT team are still working out the issues with the site - again, we would encourage managers to make early transfers for the next match once the line-ups are announced. I wish I could be more specific about the cause but it's taking a while to work through. We will come up with a compensation gesture of goodwill for everybody playing the game, please bear with us in the meantime.

I agree, the rules are up to kick off, and TFF should be able to supply this.PNE4PREM wrote:Bron Yr Aur wrote:Maybe they ought to be asking for an ounce of common sense instead.

A number of people choose to make transfers later in the evening due to work commitments.

Re: Anyone else not manage to get on TFF website?
I'm going to complain to the telegraph as all of those that couldn't get onto the website have left me at a disadvantage. I COULD get on so am stuck with Costa in my teams! What a waste of a transfer!

All worked out well in the end with Costa.
I still missed out on RVP and Robbens points.

Re: Anyone else not manage to get on TFF website?
It's down again and ruined my private money league - I want to cancel it and refund all entrants but players would still be out of pocket due to having to buy credits for the teams in first place - think only way I could get away with this is if TFF agree to give a free credit to their Premiership game for every team paid for in their now balls up World Cup game - anyone know if they read these forums and would entertain this?
Who do we contact at TFF?
There taking a schlacking (quite rightly) on there Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/telegraphfanta ... ll?fref=nf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Also I was trying for the Golden Boot in my private league and before todays games was 2 behind my S/L's leader I am now 5 behind so I would say my rival was able to get RVP and Robben in his team and I was not - not only that it went down again for this game (Spain/Chile) on now so I was unable to go for Sanchez, Vidal and Vargas - which so far is another missed goal. However you cut it this has affected every ones leagues between those that managed to get through and those like me that tried since 4:25pm with no joy????
I feel even worse for those that paid big money to go in the big stakes Elite Leagues on site and got denied the chance to make their Transfers - it's no longer a level playing field.

Re: Anyone else not manage to get on TFF website?
Latest from TFF headquarters
Well it hasn't been the greatest night in TFF history.
We'll be able to confirm an offer of free game credits by way of compensation connected to the forthcoming Premier League season in the next couple of days (we're still finalising the finer details of next season's game).
However, we can confirm that all Elite League managers will be offered a free membership into TFF 2014/15 Elite League(s) equal to the value of the Elite League(s) they have joined for the World Cup.
As stated previously, we will continue to work towards identifying and resolving the issues ahead of tomorrow's matches. Any transfers that did not get through will not be accepted retrospectively and the points scored in this evening's matches will stand.
Once again, we can only apologise for the frustration caused by the interruptions to the service, we share the disappointment that many of you have expressed and are also grateful for the messages of support.
We constantly strive to create the best fantasy games for your
enjoyment but, while it is always incredibly frustrating, occasional technical issues can happen within complex sites but we will always try to rectify them as quickly and fairly as possible.
