TFF "Tiny" World Cup

Post by robot »

workie-ticket wrote:cheers for organising robot and well done to the winners especially mystery! always a fun league, looking forward to next season.

......UNLESS - world cup tiny league? :D
Well here it is workie :D

Mystery has decided to have a relaxing summer,so in his absence here is a tiny league for the world cup.

As it would not be possible for the chairmen to monitor teams with the between match transfers this will be a modified version of the normal premier game.(main difference being the 2 player per club rule)
Any suggestions on modifications to the rules do say
Rules are:
To enter:
You must submit an official TFF team dedicated to this competition
Only one team per person please.
League code is (8059801 FISO Tiny World cup ) please post in this thread to say you are entering.
All teams must be in the league by first kick off 12th June 2014.
After this time the competition will be closed to new entries – sorry.
Entering a team into this league signifies a total acceptance of the rules.
The chairman (Robot) reserves the right to refuse entry into this game.

Your team at the start and for the duration of the tournament must have:
Only players from the "Tiny 21" clubs.
Mexico/Ivory Coast/Bosnia/Chile/Croatia/Cameroon/Australia/Columbia/Greece/Japan/Costa Rica/Switzerland/Ecuador/Honduras/Iran/Nigeria/Ghana/USA/Algeria/Russia/South Korea

At the start only 1 player per club is allowed, following the first kick off there will be no limit per club.
At the start your team value must be 40m or less, following the first kick off this restriction ends and you must then be below 50 ml for the group stages and 60 ml for the knockout stages.

Your team must apart from the above stipulations follow the terms and conditions of TFF.

Transfers
Declaring your transfers is optional but it adds to the fun and the banter if you post your thoughts.

A penalty of 10 points per game plus the relevant points scored by the player will be deducted from any team with an illegal player.
As the ability to do between match transfers will mean it will not be realistic for the chairmen to track everybody's teams legality, it will be a requirement of the top 3 teams at the end of the competition to post a screen shot of their teams weekly performance showing all players used during the competition.

Your team must be made public before kick off on the 12th of June.

This comp is only for fun with just the pride of winning (unless someone wants to donate a trophy).

If a TFF Super League prize is won, this will be shared equally between the top five places at the end of the Competition.

You can name your team what ever you want as long as it has your Fiso username in it somewhere.

I'd be interested, not sure about the starting budget right now as I've not looked at the player list much.

As a bonus for the organiser this one should be over well before the final week.

Budget about right I reckon, I found it taxing but not impossible. Of course whether they're any good is another question! :D given that people can revert to a £50 million team straight softer the first kick off I think it's better to err on the side of too stringent a budget than make it too easy...

I also entered Eggy Tenpinterry by mistake. I blame the hour :)

If you can delete Eggy Tenpinterry from your league Robot if it is possible.

Just entered Striker's Bargains.

As it's probably my final starting team unless my Mexican doesn't start, I'll make it public on Thursday.

Interesting and showed the benefit of being involved in a draft game. Without the knowledge gained from that, it would probably have taken me a couple of hours to select a team, which in the event took 15 minutes. Mind you at the end I did a "blahblah" and just stuck in a sub 2.0 defender as my 11th pick who I'd never heard of.

From now on everyone must stick to the 21 "tiny" teams but other than that the other restrictions no longer exist.
