@ aldo1, united88: please add surname to posts above so incoming fee can be recognised easily.

To date, there are 30 applications (so a potential prize fund of £600):
  • 25 have settled (18 of which are already in league, ie 36 teams)
    05 fees still due
Admin deadline is this Tues evening.

As tonight's admin deadline draws nearer, 28 of 30 applicants have settled fees.
Of these, 19 are in the league (38 teams).

Could other nine please add - as Judy Collins might say - both sides now? Thanks!

Yes, it's too late, jakdragon. Admin deadline was Tues.

All those who've subscribed must ensure teams are in super league by kick-off.
Good luck.

So if I'm understanding the transfer rules, the people that don't have anything gong on in their lives, those who can strategise and participate in up to 3 or 4 transfer windows a day, are really going to have an advantage in this game?

If I transfer out someone who has already played yesterday (Neymar in this case), for someone who's about to play today, do I lose their points?

2014 World Cup Two-Foot Challenge league

First some housekeeping regarding entries and prize fund:
Dom Shaw completes the line up of 29 managers and 58 teams.
Just two of you responded on this: one wholly positive, other also in agreement following some clarification.
For info, two more people applied early on: one failed to make payment, despite reminder;
the other settled fee last month but didn't submit teams by kick-off on Thurs;
so neither is taking part.

Thank you for the clarification. If you really want to maximize your opportunities, this is going to be some serious managerial work :shock:

Two-Foot Challenge update

Post by SamD »

It may be worth noting that, after the first five matches, three sides from this prize league are doing well nationally.

In the Starting XI league:
  • Mike Maguire, with Klose Encounter, is first overall with 88 points
    Gerard Duggan, Bhoys R Us 2, is seventh with 74.
In The Golden Boot league, for which there are three cash awards:
  • Brad Shaw, Wax On, is 14th overall with 11 goals.
Early days, of course.

I must admit, I am burning through my trades at an alarming rate and am going to have to slow things down to make it to the end with any available. But so far so good.
