Checked the table earlier. Pleasantly surprised to have 13 in already. A few people haven't used their Fiso name in their team name, please post on here which is yours if it's not obvious

Tempted to relax the rule about posting your transfers straight away on here. With the quantity and timings it seems a bit harsh to have an extra chore. Maybe an update every couple of days. Any thoughts?

its an open league and provided everybody starts correctly posting actual transfers is pointless in such a short competition maybe a weekly/twice weekly tot up on transfers left...

Just post transfers left at a few set points (each group set of games) L16 / QF / SF / F will do.

Egguador 2 Eggland 2
Muslera  J Cesar 3.9
Zhirkov  R Rodriguez 2.4
Rodriguez
Vermaelen  S Lichsteiner 3.0
Rojo  D Luiz 4.6
Oscar

Dempsey
Rakitic
Neymar
Sanchez

Transfers Left:- 40
Value of Team:- 49.9

Reasons for Transfers :-Brought in Cesar & Luiz as i expect Brazil to progress along way into tournament on their home patch.Brought in two swiss defenders in Lichsteiner and Rodriguez.Had seven clean sheets in qualifying.Ricardo Rodriguez is a set piece specialist and likely to pop up with a vital goal.

I’ve a couple of teams spare so would like to give this a go. Team entered (Eggs make me Windy) and changes made.

Out
Vermaelen, T
Muller, T
Dempsey, C
Sanchez, A

In
Lichtsteiner, S (Swi) - Aggressive, marauding forward runs make Stephan a joy to watch.
Musa, A (Ngr) - Deep forward rather than Midfield with good opening game.
Emenike, E (Ngr) - Quick, gets goals & assists. Great value so long as he avoids falling out with management again.
Messi, L (Arg) - Simple, this is the best player in the world. Expecting a hugh performance.

Might be some tweaking before KO but this is current thinking.

Muslera :
Zhirkov  Lichtstiener
Rodriguez
Vermaelen  Shlar
Rojo
Oscar
Dempsey
Rakitic
Muller  Hulk
Neymar
Sanchez  Fred

Value 49.9

Not sure if I'm going to go with this,(was going to go with Brazil defenders but changed my mind) but have done it in case I forget.
Reason:Can't see much past starting with Brazil so going all out with the front 3 all the other big teams have hard first games, with 40 transfers will put Sanchez back in for one of them,no point in starting with a russian, and swiss is the best looking mini block defence.

Thanks for setting this up. My four transfers are as below:

Muslera  Lloris
Zhirkov
Rodriguez
Vermaelen  Sakho
Rojo
Oscar
Dempsey  Okazaki
Rakitic  Peralta
Muller
Neymar
Sanchez

Value 50M

Fancy France to have more chance of clean sheet points then Uruguay, and 3.5 is cheap for a keeper if that's the case. Doubled up with Sakho for Vermaelen.
Okazaki and Peralta seem more likely to be a source of points (he says) than Dempsey and Rakitic.

Value: 49.6m

Transfers: moving to 451, creating extra budget so I can rotate my striker through any other player, quite fancy Argentina to do well, at least in the group stages.

Done some more tweaking. Will be going with this, subject to any unexpected changes to Brazil's line up.

Muslera URU 3.4
_____________
Zhirkov RUS 3.2  Schar SUI 1.9
Rodriguez MEX 2.3
Vermaelen BEL 3.7  Zuniga COL 3.1
Rojo ARG 3.9
_____________
Oscar BRA 5.8
Dempsey USA 3.4  Okazaki JAP 3.2
Rakitic CRO 4.1
Muller GER 5.6  ....
______________
... Fred BRA 7.0
Neymar BRA 7.8
Sanchez CHI 7.0
______________
Total Cost 49.3M

Transferred in 4 of my preferred starters and freed up a bit of cash for future transfers.

J Cesar  Muslera Brazil should go far, and I see them being more solid than free-scoring so a Keeper of a Keeper

Zhirkov looks good for the Group stage, and OOP?
Rodriguez plays on Day 2, but may not last much longer, Cameroon could do well. He is a bit of insurance for Eto'o not firing :?
Schar  Rojo Unlike Brazil, I think that Argentina will need to score as their defence is allegedly suspect. The Swiss kid is supposed to be the business and hideously cheap.

Oscar he plays early and will probably go as one of the 40 transfers very very soon.
Vidal  Muller Chile play early, and I have a peculiar feeling that they will qualify. Win this and he will probably stay, otherwise another early transfer. I have a peculiar feeling about the Germans, and would be more tempted by a defender. I like having the £1.2m..
Dempsey He is only still here because Vermin allowed Eto'o. America have a very tough group and he won't see the weekend.
Rakitic The Croats have more injuries than your average A&E, but he plays early, although he won't be here for long.

Neymar Plays early, so he can stay at least for now.
Sanchez Chile play early, and I rate them and him.
Eto'o  Vermaelen While Belgium should do well, is it going to be by being tight at the back? Belgium do not play until Tuesday, and is he a starter? As above, I think Cameroon could do well, and he is still a class act....

Transfers Left:- 40
Value of Team:- 49.9

Are there any restrictions on when we\I can use these 40 transfers?
