Robot, I think that you'd better remove me from this comp as some total idiot put Vargas in my team.   But as I'm the manager of the said team, I guess that I have to accept responsibility.

You don't need to be removed ,just let me know the penalty score and then remove him and see if you can still win.

Sorry! Realised this earlier this morning, before I just saw this!

First grandchild's first birthday is my feeble excuse!

Was just about to post that he's now out of there! Didn't score me any points, thank god, but I'll take any penalty on the chin, because he probably allowed me to spent a tad more on the Argies!

Player was Gutierrez, T. Colombian striker (playing like a Super 11 team in my defence!)
I'll post a screenshot somewhere on Facebook or elsewhere, if you want to see his 0pts! (not sure if you can do it here!)

I've got no idea, except that it'll be a nasty hit.

I'll let you know right just before the end of the tournament as there's no guarantee that I won't repeat the offence and then all the points can be deducted as once. What I can say is that my carelessness/stupidity means that my chance of winning this thing are negligible.

Anyway what w*nker decided that Belgium was a big country while Chile is a footballing minnow?

I based the teams more on price of players than potential/ability didn't want it to be to easy to make the initial team, and thought that columbia/chile would have meant teams being not that dissimilar to standard teams, still quite close at the top, wouldn't be surprised if you still win :!:

Unfortunately the penalty should be 32 pts. Lucky that nabby was on the ball and PM'd me to let me know that I had an illegal player, otherwise by the end of the comp it could have taken my overall score into negative territory.

I feel like a team that's gone into administration and has been relegated as a result of points being docked.

I did consider it being a bit harsh in the normal premier game but implemented it in the hope that it would actually stop people having non "super" players
Premier penalty's

-54 tenpinterry (total of two different errors)
-16 Geoffv
-62 Super Jester (total of two different errors)
-17 jag

World cup penalty's
wasted transfer SE
-32 Striker

It could be said that it is not only the illegal player that is scoring points but the better quality other players that can be afforded by having a cheap illegal player, so the minus 10 for each game would cover this.In Strikers case could he afford for example messi etc in the games in between whilst still having the chile player?
In SE case as the player went in/out before playing no penalty,is this to lenient because messi may of played whilst still in?

Difficult to have a perfectly fair penalty, and impossible to calculate what actually happens compared to what would of happened had the player not gone in regarding the team as a whole.

What do people think the penalty should be for the upcoming premier game?

Edit:Have just checked the teams and 2 more Chile players have appeared, presumably for last nights game

Can Suprised and Windy let me know if last night was the only game they played? and then remove them.

Just committed another "Super 11" offence.

Luckily in this case I realised that Columbia wasn't a super 11 country within seconds of making the transfer, so reversed it within minutes, long before kick off. So is my only penalty my wasted transfer?

Perhaps like sted in last year's draft game I should withdraw as the odds are that I'll re-offend again before too long.

I honestly think that the compressed nature of the fixtures, with relatively unknown super 11, tiny teams differentiation has contributed to this problem. You don't get the day in day out decisions on quick transfers in the Premiership season. I have to make decisions before teams are announced usually, for the 5.00pm kick off's and that impacts on the later starts, sometimes.

It's right that penalties are allocated, and mean something, because as I said, my mistake obviously would have enabled me to buy more expensive, valid players.

For the reasons above, though, I think the greater knowledge of Super and Tiny teams in a Premiership game and the more prolonged game would mean a relatively minimal impact with incorrect selections............ although to be perfectly honest, I did get a penalty for a player in the Tiny game last season too!

....... And you've got a couple more transfers than me left!

Fair Cop, Guv ... better just ex me from the comp. My mistake.
Rodriguez played once, scored 6 points & has now been removed from the team

TBH I got totally confused by the rules of Super 11 v Tiny Teams.
Didnt realise that I'd strayed from the rules.

No, first commandment - Name the team before joining the League (so that you can remember which team plays in which league)
Then read the rules ...

mickmacpadywack you've got a swiss player has he played any games get?
Fair Cop, Guv ... better just ex me from the comp. My mistake.
Rodriguez played once, scored 6 points & has now been removed from the team

TBH I got totally confused by the rules of Super 11 v Tiny Teams.
Didnt realise that I'd strayed from the rules.
I was going to say carry on anyway,as so many have made a similar mistake but now see you have put Sanchez in so up to you if you want to try and finish of with your now legal team and fight it out with Surprised for the wooden spoon.
I'd be happy to fight Surprised for the wooden spoon except I've completely lost interest / time to manage these teams. And I think (as you suggested) in my haste I made another mistake or three (think I put Columbians in as well).

I needed to name these teams more carefully at the start. Matches come too thick & fast for me to manage, or keep track of which team has to follow which rules.
So cancel me from the comp, and I'll at least get some joy from scoring points whilst using up transfers

Sorry for any trouble caused / work created. Thanks for including me in the first place

Bit of a contradiction there.
