gw31 Captain
What an interesting,novel,idea,reds363 Does this mark a change of strategy for you ?
FPL regulars will be aware of the fact that you've not captained Ronaldo in your own very successful team all season, and it's indeed difficult to propose anyone else,in his present form.
Strangely enough, and unusually, none of us here in La Pub proposed him in the last GW either, when he got 15pts,compared to the measly 1pt Drogba provided(x2),albeit from the bench late on,which is probably what many of us feared would happen to Ronaldo last GW, hence the likely reason no-one nominated him last GW(including yourself ! )
Instead, other Man U stars were rested,Ronaldo played the full game, and our Capt choice Drogba,by a substantial majority, was rested, along with our other striker Berbatov !
In proposing Drogba again this week,it was the opposition(Watford)which tipped the scales for me, as I just have a gut feeling that Mark Hughes, returning to Old Trafford, where many see him as an heir apparent to SAF,will be doing his utmost to demonstrate his tactical skills in curbing Ronaldo's impact.
Will he succeed where few others,if any, have done ?
I wouldn't put money on it, but if we all play safe and go for the obvious(Ronaldo) every time, there wouldn't be much point in having a debate/poll,would there ?

We run a tight ship, here a La Pubby.
Well, I'm usually tight at midnight, Friday, anyway.
Better luck next week.
