Good luck to you Giggsy now you've moved up front. Several teams still in the hunt, however, which certainly is keeping the interest going right up until the end. I'm 36 points adrift of you now which may be a few too many to make up but I can console myself with the fact that Adebayors 3 goals yesterday have helped to put me in a very strong position at the top of TSO's season-long competition
Confusion may have arisen for Tso over your captain as same as it did initially for me Giggsy, as the printed line-ups for April 15th showed Ashton as your captain and when you did your changes for Sunday 27th April you stated Martins to Carew *** and then for the Monday Carew to Adebayor *** when it appears in fact that Ashton was still captain at the time for the Saturday games. The inference by the asterisks was seemingly that you wished for Carew to be your weekly captain change from Ashton but it would have probably been clearer to TSO to actually state captain change Ashton to Carew. Alls well in the end for you anyway.

According to the table I've lost points this weekend, but Adebayor was my captain yesterday so I can't see how that's the case.
also hartley1 has lost the extra 100pts i gave him
glad when its finished.i need to retire

Would be a fine comp, just as your running a few too many comps to keep track of them all .. aswell as your other fantasy teams.thespecialone wrote:forgot you did that in advance have altered.jonesbones wrote:TSO, I think you may have made a mistake with my score.

I probably would have captained Adebayor on Sunday if I'd had that option but chose to switch captaincy from Adebayor Santa Cruz on Saturday...Nabby wrote:a case of fortune favouring the brave - while I took the safe option of Adebayor as captain, once seeing the teams line up, Razorback took the risk (or at least a risk in my book) of opting for Torres - paying dividends. Reckon I'll need to take a risk now.

Don't quite know how to put this but...
is there a reason why our esteemed founder/chairman/benefactor (OK, that's enough: ed) has removed four teams?
Just 55 entrants are shown on the latest table of Mon 5 May:

If it's not too much trouble, sir, could you please say what I (and the other three managers) have done?
Yours earnestly...

Made the following changes to my team's line-up;
James (POR) £3.2m Howard (EVE) £3.3m
Lescott (EVE) £3.4m
Yobo (EVE) £3.5m
Evra (MUN) £3.7m
Johnson (POR) £3.4m
Larsson (BIR) £3.1m
Bentley (BLA) £4.1m
Ronaldo (MUN) £6m
Adebayor (ARS) £6m
Drogba (CHE) £7.6m *Captain*
Defoe (POR) £5.7m Santa Cruz (BLA) £5.8m
Defoe hasn't done very much for this team so he's guaranteed a hat-trick now I've replaced him with Santa Cruz , already had two Everton defenders so bringing Howard in doesn't have that much of a downside.
Good luck to everyone with a chance of winning this competition ...

I thought Razorback would go for the Drogba captaincy and although I needed the points I thought I'd risk matching that one and hoping for the rest of the team to make up the points rather than sh*t or bust if Drog scored the expected few. Still think it's now between you and RB going into the FA Cup final.giggsy wrote:Well this could be the day that decides it...
come on you geordies is all I can say!!! An everton clean sheet may do it for Razor.
me and nabby thought the same.

Still up for grabs. I was hoping for a Young motm, but sadly Ashton got it.Razorback wrote:Expected to be more than five points off the lead after today's update so happy I'm still in with a slight chance, not going to think about which players I bring in until Saturday morning at the very earliest (can't see me winning this comp now if I'm honest )...
Here's hoping for a tight cup final.

Looks like Razorbacks nicked it. Kranky got booked which looks to have blown it for Giggsy and I needed Cardiff to score to have a chance. Good game though - many thanks TSO - here's hoping you win another 10k next year (preferably towards the back end of the season when all my TFC teams have bit the dust).thespecialone wrote:tale of the tape for the leaders

Cheers for that, choosing which players to bring in wasn't easy & in the end decided just to go with the players I felt would score the most points today (rather than worry about who my rivals would bring in & then try to do something 'different').TheCharltonFan wrote:Well done razor, looks like you've knicked it thanks tso for running it, and look forward to your future comps if there are to be any.
Just got lucky with my selections & anyone in the top four/five would have been a worthy winner, many thanks to TSO for running this & numerous other competitions, looking forward to more of the same next season ...
