Decided I'd make mine too! Bribe wasn't big enough.

Went for Set 2. Conference looks OK, but don't know a lot about it! What have you gone for?

Unless its the Prem or Champions League I havent a clue...so plumped for the Tuesday fixtures rather than Friday to avoid prolonging the agony!

The fact that you've gone for Fridays games make's that reason pointless!

Oh well....

Got my double Matchday 19 set in... don't want to throw away a division title by forgetting to enter!

Set 1 is a tough one as international sets go, still as I only really need to dodge a couple of 7x from someone else I shouldn't really be complaining...

(At least I know now I wouldn't have won the FA Cup had I not dropped out of it by tactically missing a matchday for league purposes... that would have been annoying!)

Remind me what I have to do for the FA Cup if I have picked from 2 sets?

I want to use set 2.

(set 1 is savage!)

I think you're meant to indicate in the "comments" box on the selection form. Otherwise email Lucky7s to confirm I guess.

Well done on the 15 points Bombom. There were a few 10 pts floating around on the Conference results, so you appear to have done really well.

Means I need at least 5 wins from this lot to tie:

The Kop Kings (Premier League) - Season 12, Matchday 18
Doncaster Rovers , Yeovil Town , Lincoln City , MK Dons ,
Shrewsbury Town , Wycombe Wanderers , Walsall ,

Roll on Friday :P

Yep...gotta be happy with that. To quote a much used phrase, "If you'd offered me the 15 points at 7.45pm I would have taken them".

Saying that, my only 2 "Bankers", Aldershot & Oxford, both only scraped draws against bottom 3 opposition!

That is the way it is normally done, but you can let me know by any of the methods suggested. If you don't express your prefered choice of set (as in most cases) it defaults to set 1 or if that's not used it'll be set 2.

Seeing as the deadline for set 3 has now passed, here are my set 3 selections for the FA Cup final:

Czech Republic U21
Serbia U21
Belgium U21
France U21
Australia
Germany
Brazil

(the only team in the final to pick from set 3)

That's a brave pick! I guess with 7 in the final there are going to be a lot of similar scores, so it's perhaps worth a gamble of going for a different set to everyone else and hoping the other sets are low-scoring.

When does Season 13 kick off by the way L7s?

Yeah, you are right with my reason for picking from set 3 (fingers crossed, but the Serb U21s have already lost, so not the best of starts.

Season 13 starts next weekend, you'll be able to pick for Matchday 1 from 6pm on Weds evening. The Champs & Loyalty Cups start on midweek Mdy 2 and the FA Cup starts on weekend Mdy 3.

Bollocks! I forgot that the U-21's kicked off early so only 2 sets for me this weekend rather than the 3 I had planned. :(

 Promotion hopes dashed again!

Well played Mulleteers Champions Cup winners, I will be in touch shortly.
Hard luck Grant set 2 wasn't very helpful for you tonight, good luck next season.

Hi folks, just a quick note to say the entry deadline for sets 1 & 2 Matchday 19 have been extended until 2.30pm Saturday afternoon.
This will be the last chance to enter league scoring selections for Season 12. Matchday 20 is only used for tiebreakers (if needed) or for optional friendlies.

My best season ever by far...a Champions Cup victory alongside what must be a top-3 Prem finish (barring an International disaster). Lucky me that in coincided with the start of Pay-To-Play

Hard luck Grant, not one player got 15 points out of set 2 so you were always up against it. Yeovil losing at home was one of my potential home bankers down the pan.

Interesting final day, secured my first divisional title - look out D4 next season! Well played Shrews for beating me to the all-team title by 3 points (though "Rich Pickings" must be annoyed as he would surely have won it had he picked from Set 3!)

Unlucky all :D .

As I said on the Lucky 7's forum, it would have been nice to have known if 'Rich Pickings' could have beaten me in the 'All team' league, with his game in hand.

However, you fellow FISO'ers have some catching up to do  and i'm going to milk this for all I can (well a week or so atleast  )

It's strange that he entered 2 sets when he could have done all 3... I guess he must have been caught out the same way as thelip was, with the earlier deadline for set 3. Cost him rather more though!

Sorry mate, we changed it a few seasons ago so that Matchday 19 would be the last chance to score league points allowing everyone to finish on the same day.
Even worse news for you is that the MK Pigeons finished above you.

There is one more set on Matchday 20 but this is only used for tiebreakers and optional friendlies.

Well done Shrews an excellent performance to win the 'plastic treble' of the All team league, Premier league and FISO league, managing an average score of over 16pts every Matchday. 8-)

I'll be updating all of the end of season stats over the next day or 2 ready for the new season which kicks of next weekend.

4 titles and 10 automatic promotions for FISO then! I guess a fair few more will go up due to the high number of retired teams, it looks doubtful whether there will be a Division 7 at all next season - which is a shame but I guess you will expect more people than normal to drop out over the summer break.

Hopefully a few more new recruits from FISO for the new season will boost numbers!

Season Summary

Another successful season for FISO members with 4 league titles, 7 other automatic promotions (no doubt there will be more to come) and two of the three cups won. On the down side there were three relegated teams.
