I never realised Jack and Misty Cat was a FISO member, if you wish to be included in the FISO league for next season let me know and I'll add you in.

Good luck in the FA Cup competition, an impressive debut season.

I've tried to encourage members of my TFF super league to join FISO, and also to take part in Lucky Sevens. Two of them (including J&MC) have done this, but neither have yet posted, although both are doing well with Lucky Sevens...

...unlike myself, staring at relegation with a grumpy face, after my dopey selections in Set 3 today. I think I need a Snow White to stay in Div.1, and will be very happy if I get it.

Set 2 and 3 weren't very fruitful this weekend, I think most people only chose from them to catch up. Set 1 looks fairly predictable, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few 7xWs, as always though I suppose it just depends if results go to form.

Thanks for the mention in your TFF s/l Des. 8-)

I'm not sure it will be predictable, there's so many games that are effectively meaningless and players who will mentally be already on a beach somewhere or in Germany preparing for next month. I expect a few surprise results tomorrow!

None of my rivals went for sets 2 or 3 :(

Ian - can you confirm the tie-break rule? I'm sure I asked this last year

Matchday 20 will be used as a tiebreaker to try and split any teams with identical records, if it still remains level it's down to the longest serving team and if it's still level, your previous seasons score should hopefully settle it:

Ian,

Is there any reason the selections for MD19 aren't up? Wanted to have a look who you went for. Unfortunately have a feeling we'll have at least 6 the same so won't be able to pip you.

The Set 1 deadline has been extended so people can still pick and change.

Devon XI - Aston Villa, Fulham.
The Kop Kings - Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur.

Unbelievable!! I got another 7xW on the last day of the season and got promotion by one point! Thanks to TH for his hat-trick. :D

And the very best of it, is that the guy who is now in 5th is a friend from work who has been giving me pelters about being ahead of me

Ah, schadenfreude, don't you just love it?

Well done TheLip. I'm pleased to see you will be joing me in Div.1 rather than us just changing places. I seem to have been saved from relegation by just one point, and one non-entry. (Must do better next year!)

Nice to see you will be promoted to division 1 with me. There could be a few Fisoer's in there next season.

The non players this season will be removed when this season finishes, so there is a chance of promotion if you finish 5th. There are also 2 non players in Div 2 but they will not benefit your Division, so make sure that last set is a good un.
20 points but doesn't look like it was enough... I blame the manager!

Well chuffed with my promotion. The Premier League beckons - after just 7 seasons of trying

Congrats to everybody else who got success today especially Lucky7s the overall champ.

6th place must be good enough for a first season promotion! Looking at the scores the basement division is hard work to get out of, I would have placed higher in any other division except the Premier I think!

When does this game re-start for the next season by the way?

6th place should be enough, in fact probably down to about 8th or 9th would be enough. I have now updated all of the end of season stats, but not sorted promotions/relegations for next season just yet (probably do that tomorrow).

Lucky 7's Season 12 officially starts when the new football season kicks off in early August, but we'll be back for pre season friendlies in mid-late July which are purely optional and a fun way to warm up for the new season. I also think it's quite a useful way of tracking early team/player form, even though there are often some bizarre results. At least you don't have to take it too seriously.

I will also be adding a new Division 7  for next season if there are more than 20 teams left in Div 6 after promotion/retirements.
