Congrats to Karrde Vale who got an unexpected bye through to the Champions Cup final next midweek, due to a no show from the opposition.
What have you been up to, to scare them off!

Promotion hopes have just gone up in smoke I fear. Only 7 points from a disastrous set of Division 1 fixtures. :(

I've been biting my nails all weekend as I wasn't sure if I'd done enough to stay top. The Southampton & Spurs wins today saved me this weekend.

Hard luck in the FA Cup Grant, Set 1 would have got you through to the final at my expense.

Noticed that

Serves me right for a last minute change of mind - looked a lot of good home games in D1, but a bad choice.

Good luck in the Cup. Still coming to get you in the league

Still waiting for PSV Harrishoven to enter midweek Matchday 18 selections.

The first 2 honours of Season 11 will be decided this midweek and we have a FISO team in both finals of the Champions Cup & Loyalty Cup. So good luck to Karrde Vale and PSV Harrishoven.

PSV Harrishoven failed to enter this midweek so has missed the chance to win the Loyalty Cup

Karrde Vale has got off to a great start with 2 wins out of 2 so far, his opponent has already dropped 3pts from 2 games played.

Eek my french is very rusty, but the first part of your statement is correct.

The deadline for Set 1 selections will be extended to 2.30pm on Sunday for this weekend, but Set 2 and 3 will be at 2.30pm on Saturday, so any teams with games in hand will have to catch up now or finish the season short.

They're already on the submission form. You can enter your scores now if you want.

Anybody know how high scoring Sets 1 and 2 are looking like being?

I took a Sven/Rooney like gamble and went to Germany as I need to catch up a few points to get promotion. Got a healthy 16 points from Set 3 but will that do me much good????

New joint Champions
- Karrde Vale and Anunovichx1 -
Does this mean that there will be no replay at the weekend?

Been a good first season for me - have slipped back a bit in the last couple of sets, but I think there are 5 dropouts from higher divisions so top 9 promotion place looking fairly safe!

Well I got some points back on some of those above me. Up from 6th to 5th. One more spot which is 2 or 3 more points needed on saturday though.....

No replays for the finals, so well done on your first major honour, likely to be followed by the Div 5 title at the weekend. 8-)

Good luck to all FISOers for your final games.

Do those teams who have given up get removed from the game at the end of the season? i.e. is there a way of me sneaking promotion (from Div 3 to 2) through the back-door because 3 teams higher up are going to disappear?

The non players this season will be removed when this season finishes, so there is a chance of promotion if you finish 5th. There are also 2 non players in Div 2 but they will not benefit your Division, so make sure that last set is a good un.

Jack and Misty Cat has reached the Lucky Sevens FA Cup Final in his first season, and is also poised for promotion. :D

He is registered for FISO, but has never posted.

Thought I'd give him a mention here to wish DawgDawg good luck, and get him actually reading some of the threads as a prelude to becoming an active poster.

These lower league sets have been an absolute graveyard for my promotion hopes this season. :(

6 draws and a win to give a meagre 9 points leaves me needing a 7xW to give me an outside chance of going up.
