Lucky 7's - Season 11

Post by Lucky7s »

Lucky 7's Fantasy Football is about to start Season 11. It's a simple game to play and it's FREE, but there are no prizes but lots of pride to play for. It takes very little of your time and you can join in at anytime, but obviously now is an ideal time to start playing.

How to play:
All you have to do is pick 7 teams from 10 football fixtures that you think will earn you the most points. You can choose from either of 3 sets of 10 fixtures (when available), 1 set of 7 selections = 1 game played. There are 2 matchdays a week, weekend and midweek so the fixtures cover a wide range of games including EPL - Conference, English and Euro cup comps, Internationals and other major Euro club leagues. Each season will last for 10 weeks (20 matchdays). Your team will score 3pts for every winner you pick, 1pt for a draw and if you pick 7 winners you'll get an added 7pts bonus. You also get a bonus point for any hat-tricks scored by a player from the team you picked. That's all there is to it, as easy as picking your lottery numbers.

Any new teams that join will be added to Division 6 and your objectives should include trying to work your way up to the Premier League - promotion and relegation takes place at the end of each season (4 up, 4 down).

If you start before Matchday 3 your team will also be included in the 1st round of an additional FA Cup knockout competition to add a bit of extra interest. There are also 2 more additional Cup competitions to play for IF your team finishes high enough in the table to qualify. All team acheivements are recorded and updated at the end of each season and is easily available to view on the sites growing History and Honours section.

If you have any questions/comments about the game or website let me know and I'll get back to you.

For the Lucky 7's website - http://www.luckysevens.co.uk

... and exclusively for the FISO players:
the FISO League table - http://www.luckysevens.co.uk/fisoleague.php
Well done Jeffers on - Season 10 FISO league winners

If there are any FISO teams not listed in the FISO League, post your team name and I'll add it in.

Thanks lip.

Surrey Stella (D1) has requested a team name change for season 11, so will be known as Mark1886 from now onwards.

EDIT: Also, Go Ahead Pigeons have been (temporarily) renamed MK Pigeons.

Welcome on board FF I've just added your team. Yes you start off in Division 6, but I'm sure you'll be up there in contention for promotion at the end of season. 8-)

Yeh, I agree with thelip. Although I have no probs with others using cannabis (for the record I have never touched the stuff), I am not sure Ian has an age restriction on the site, therefore there could well be under 16's playing the game, therefore I just feel the name needs changing to something a bit more subtle !

Nothing wrong with that name

I don't have any age restrictions for the game I run, so it is likely there may be underage kids playing. We're 'mostly' adults here in FISO and I have no doubts that what you say is correct. However, I cannot allow you to use that as a team name for the Lucky 7's game, so I have edited it to just 'Legalise' until you respond to my email with a less controversial suggestion for a team name.

... but the Telegraph have an under 18s (or 16s?) section, would it be deemed suitable for use in there, I'm not so sure.

Thanks for your cooperation, I'll leave it there then and welcome to the game. 8-)

Welcome also to Primitive Man, both new teams have been entered into the FISO league for the new season, the new FISO league with all new teams will be available to view tomorrow.

Also thought I'd add, NOMARX has returned from retirement restarting from Division 6. Good luck all for the new season.
