Well, Set 1 was low-scoring as a number of us suspected, but I'm on 5 points from the Italian/Spanish set with two teams to play, even if those two are the last two European champions!

I expect I'll need both to win to progress in the FA Cup...

Thought I was snookered with 10 points from set one this week, but it looks like most from set 3 will be averaging 9 points.

My team is Cloughie's Army, was second in the Premier League before this weekend but likely to drop a bit after this I think!

Atletico Madrid , Barcelona , Inter Milan , Juventus ,
Real Madrid , AC Milan , Roma ,

Well Barca are winning 1-0 which puts you on 8, a win from AC tonight ( only 20% of teams have them) will see you OK.

Good luck!

I can't believe set 3 performed as badly as set 1, thought this might have been my escape from the bottom 4 , but is wasn't to be
8 games to go 2 points from safety :?

I'm getting rubbish at remembering to select - which is probably why I was relegated from the Prem last year. However, worked out nicely as although out of the FA Cup, am now well placed to get promotion, as only a few points of top spot with a game in hand. :D Was going to double up on the internationals, but they don't look the easiest to select from.

International friendlies are a very different proposition from competitive internationals in this game... for one thing you don't tend to get the mismatches (can't see the big teams arranging friendlies with San Marino and Andorra too often) and also it's hard to predict what will happen with nothing much really at stake.

If I miss this set when will be the best chance to play a catch up?

No competetive internationals left and all the cups are down to a few teams - the CL games will probably be mostly draws. Will be difficult enough to pick 1 set on many midweeks.....

Lucky 7s has been particularly cruel this midweek set , would have liked to have seen some of the Asian world cup qualifiers i.e-

Australia v Qatar
Japan v Thailand
South Korea v Turkmenistan
Iran v Syria
Iraq v China

Being still in the loyalty cup forces me to play , but im really struggling.
Any body have any opinion on the Algeria v Belguim thriller.

Exactly why I bit the bullet and went for it this week. There have been a couple of shocking rounds lately so at least it cant get any worse

Plus with a tricky set where there arent obvious picks, there should eb a nice spread. A lucky person may just crush the opposition with some wise picks.

I can't go making it too easy
.. but point taken I'll try and squeeze in a couple from the Asian qualifiers next time if they are available.

Just also thought I'd mention this (to even further hinder your selections) Greece play Czech Republic today and then they both play again tomorrow.

Just need Argentina to get at least a draw against Guatemala to advance in the cup.
But still leaves me in deep doo-doo in the prem.
Some surprisingly good scores from set 2.

Such a shame, what with you being 2 points behind me and one of the teams I am hoping to beat to avoid relegation :D

I think there could be a few more joining in with that chant.
Well picked so far, surely they can't lose.

I thought I was going to be ok with Set 1 until todays games. :(

Well, that's the end of my cup hopes for this season, in both competitions... my own fault really for not bothering to look at set 3, although my Champions Cup replay was a same set matchup.

I'll remember in future to consider the other set even if set 1 doesn't look particularly nasty, those who went for it this week were certainly rewarded with a 22.66 average.

18th to 4th. Get in.

If only I had followed the courage of my convictions and clicked the City of Manchester button in set one.

Unusual to see Badabing in the relegation zone , been consistantly good the last few seasons.

We're fast approaching the final furlong for season 18 with just 5 more matchdays to go, so those of you with games in hand may want to start thinking about using them up soon.
A reminder that this weekends Matchday 15 also determines scores for the (L7s) FA Cup Quarter Finals and also Champions & Loyalty Cup QF replays.

Here's a list of FISO league teams yet to enter for Mdy 15:

Blackness Trotters
Honeys Hooters
Karrde Vale
Lips Ink
Nashy Gnashers
Tri-Stars

Is there a problem with the submission page Ian ? I just logged in to take a look at my selections and noticed the buttons were still as 'submit' and not as 'update'. I have checked my e.mail and have received the confirmation e.mails back from when I entered yesterday.

I'm not sure if it's anything to do with it but here is an error message on the submission form password page
