Well , I uhmmned and arghhed
And decided i couldn't not enter.Picked a selection from set 3 .
The notoriously unpredictable Division 1 .
Could be a stroke of genius or a absolute cock-up.

This season could definetly see a few records broken.
Must admit i haven't been anywhere near a 7x this season , missing the U21 set early on sticks in the throat

Just a bit of advance warning:
Matchday 16 will have an early bonus set of fixtures to pick from (Set 3).
Please note these will only be available for a short while between noon on Saturday 8 Dec until 4pm on Sunday 9 December.
If for any reason you may not be around during those times, you can send me your picks early via PM or email and I will add them in for you.

Set 1 & 2 will remain open until 7pm on Tuesday 11 December.

Midweek Matchday 16 - the deadline has passed for the early bonus Set 3, so there is just a choice of sets 1 & 2 up until Tuesdays 7pm deadline. These games will also determine scores for the Champions & Loyalty Cup Semi Finals and also the FA Cup Quarter Final replays.

Here's a list of FISO league teams that haven't picked yet:

Cloughies Army Champions Cup, FA Cup replay
ComeOn Wanderers
Deselective
Hexham FC
Mark1886
Nashy Gnashers
Primitives
Surreal Mildred
The Kop Kings

If you have any games in hand you should start thinking about when you will be using them up as we only have a couple weeks left this season.

mw Mdy 16 (2 sets left to pick from until 7pm Tuesday)
we Mdy 17 (3 sets - EPL, Championship & League 1)
mw Mdy 18 (3 sets - mixture of Carling & UEFA Cup + an early bonus Euro set)
we Mdy 19 (3 sets - EPL, Championship & League 1)

Matchday 19 is the last league scoring Mdy of the Season.

Matchday 17 looks like the worst Premiership set in history, two big four clashes with the underdogs at home and not a banker in sight in the remaining games! If forced to play this matchday by the cups I may have to consider a lower division set!

That lot should help to reduce the generally high average scores we have this season so far. :D
A weekend for some brave predictions.

On very recent form, yes.

You won't lose much money backing each of the big 4 clashes to be 1-1 draws for a season. Doesn't really help in Lucky 7s and there are no great upcoming sets to play catch up with if you have the weekend off.

Good job my season is over or I'd have a dilemma

****ing Burnley - let me down on my potential Snow White

I cunningly avoided Chelsea expecting them to stutter and some lower league club lets me down instead :(

I could blame myself for not having faith in Liverpool but I didn't want to jinx them.....

Just 9 sets of selections left to pick from this season now and in the Premier League Grant (The Kop Kings) has 7 games in hand and Des (Deselective) has 6 games, so it's looking fairly dire for them although not impossible to escape from the relegation zone, but those 2 would be my favourites for the drop along with Hexham FC and Magflyers. Hopefully I will scrape through but it's going to be a tight finish.

I suppose I could always reduce the number of teams that go down this season, if things get really bad.

I'll be updating the site as soon as I can get on. It's currently unavailable at the moment due to another of those DDOS attacks. Hopefully it's not a long outage.

Edit: Not too bad only about 20-30mins offline tonight! It's back online again now. :D

There is currently a problem affecting certain parts of the Lucky 7's website, most importantly is has affected navigation from page to page.

You should still be able to add your selections though here is a direct link to the log in page:
http://www.luckysevens.co.uk/submissionform.php

Certain parts of the site aren't loading up properly but you can get to different pages if you use the main home page as your start point, here is a direct link:
http://www.luckysevens.co.uk/index.htm

Hopefully the situation will be back to normal soon.

Due to recent problems with my webhosts, some parts of the website are not loading up properly. I am working to get it all back up as soon as possible.
Most of the important pages are back up now.

Looks like my Championship gamble paid off with a solid 15 points, as I expected there's some low scores in prospect on Set 1.

Still on target for both the paid cups!

My Championship gamble got me 13. Not enough to stop me finish in mid-table mediocrity.

Twice in 2 sets I get 0 pts from Burnley

Just 6 sets of selections left to pick from this season now, 5 sets after 2pm tomorrow.

You can review and/or pick your selections in advance (up to Matchday 2 of the new season) if you think you may not be able to get online over the feastive period. Choose your teams from the fixture lists and PM or email them to me and I'll see they are added.

Just a quick reminder if you haven't picked for midweek Matchday 18 yet, the deadline is 7pm tonight. Then all that's left is the final 3 sets of the season on Matchday 19, so if you have games in hand you'll need to use them now.

Here are the dates for the first 3 Matchdays of new Season 18:
WE 29-30 Dec - Mdy 1 (Season 18 kicks off)
MW 1-3 Jan 08 - Mdy 2 + CC LC group stage GAME 1
WE 5-6 Jan - Mdy 3 + FA Cup 1st round

Looks like I was sunk by a late Bordeaux goal in the Champions Cup final. :( Still the FA Cup to play for at the weekend though, and looking good for a Premier League place next season!
