[quote="Lucky7s"]A good midweek Matchday 6 with all 3 sets providing a high average score.
Here are the scores after all Mdy 6 scores updated and TSO is currently top of yet another mini league.

getting bored now

Anyone else on the Spanish/Italian early set for this matchday? Picked up a nice 17 pointer on that so am pleased I got round to selecting from it. JP Trophy will probably be a bit of a crapshoot, but it does have the "no draws" value in it so hopefully we won't see too many people get lucky with a 7x!

Now to study the upcoming international sets - they could make or break a few seasons, especially for those of us with games in hand...

Am going for the Prem title this year, so hoping for big points from the internationals. Disappointed to see fairly big points from the last couple of matchdays.

Don't like missing the cups though - The Kop Kings have a decent record! Will be paying to play next season and going all out for the treble again...

I got a 14, thought Milan at home would be a dead cert.

I've got one game in hand, need to decide whether to use it on the weekend or next midweek or save it for the October internationals. Hmmm... :?

Bump for NFG if you're about and there are a few other FISOers who haven't entered for midweek Matchday 8 yet. An hour and 15 mins to go!

For those who've left it late this midweek, it's a choice of Conference or JP trophy games, good luck!

It's then onto a double helping of Internationals for Matchday 9 & 10, games in hand at the ready.

Do I need to enter this one for anything?

I was going to give it a miss and have two goes on the Internationals.

Or is that not wise.

This midweek also counts as game 4 of the Loyalty Cup group stage, as you have a paid team it's usually best not to miss a Matchday to give yourself a chance of getting through to the KO stage.

You're currently 13th (see link below) and probably wouldn't make it through if you missed this midweek.

So you went for the Conference set then, good luck with them. Oxford are unbeaten at home so far this season  ... go on the Grecians!

Looking at the Champions Cup table - forestfan is qualified for the knockouts with one matchday to go in the group stage. Even if he doesn't play and everyone else gets a 7xW he's still through - that must be an unprecedented achievement!
Congrats!

Well played forestfan, you can have next midweek off.
Then after we all get a 7xW, we might be really, really lucky and all get a couple of hat-tricks and then knock him out of the top 16 (if he doesn't enter).

Thanks! If it wasn't internationals I'd be very tempted by the sit out... but got the league to think about of course! Second in D2 with a game in hand is a nice position to be in as well.

That early 7x that very few people got set my season up well, in that position I think you just have to avoid any silly mistakes!

Just over an hour before deadline closes for this weekends Internationals.
Generally these games produce high average scores and therefore it's considered a good time to play any games in hand you may have.
Good luck and come on England!

Was a difficult choice for the game in hand between this matchday and the next... both Set 2s were must haves but there wasn't much to choose between the two Set 1s for the extra one. Went with today's in the end, so hope my selections perform!

Looks like Spain again are going to deny me a 7x tonight. They really are my Lucky 7s bogey team, along with Turkey who messed up against the mighty Malta in the other set, really must stop picking those two in future!

Not again Spain, SURELY?

And Holland need a half-time wake-up call as well...

(Edit: Apologies to Spain, didn't realise it was a late kick-off, they actually took the lead after 13 minutes! Don't mind if they mess it up now anyway, as it would take out a few 7x from others...)

A reminder to anyone who hasn't picked yet, it's also the 1st round of the Champions & Loyalty Cup KO stage this midweek.
There are some nice Champions League/UEFA Cup ties to pick from or there is a Championship set.

Here are some of the Cup games involving FISO teams (that I know of):
Champions Cup 1st round knockout stage to be played on Matchday 12
Game 1 Cloughies Army v Bovine Skittlers
Game 5 REDSquadron v Olivers Army
Game 8 Jaybrent Allstars v Surreal Mildred

Loyalty Cup 1st round knockout stage to be played on Matchday 12
Game 2 Karrde Vale v Taztastic
Game 3 Celtic67 v Mulleteers
Game 4 Devon XI v Big Als Bad Boys
Game 6 Wroomer v Jack and Misty Cat
Game 7 Thespecialones v Young Guns
Game 8 SerXI v Semper Fidelis

... and Karrde you haven't picked yet either.
