This could be a pivotal couple of matchdays in the season, with internationals typically high scoring and lots of 7x potential.

Serbia (now minus Montenegro) have already let a fair number of us down by losing to Borat's boys. Those of us who picked them may be hoping for another shock or two to make sure nobody picks up 28 points today!

I had the Serbs :( and Norway! so 13pts (+ out of the FA Cup) was all I could muster, at least there were no 7 timers. I think it looks more likely that we'll see a few 7 timers midweek though.

Murf is the only paid FISOer yet to enter for this midweeks Matchday 6, deadline 7pm tonight.
There are a few other FISOers yet to pick from the 'easy' Internationals. Expecting a few 7 timers. 8-)

Already had Finland (Set 1) and Bulgaria (Set 2) wipe out the 7x potential. :( Hopefully will still score enough to gain an advantage over the single set people, but most important thing is that not too many people do pick up a maximum tonight.

:D It's looking a bit tight down there in joint 14th place, those extra few points would have been nice, but I reckon you'll make it through.

Woot! Woot!

A nice 7xW turns the season around from a spectre of relegation to a glimmer of hope of promotion! :D

Bolton, Charlton and Chelsea's late winners keep me in with a chance of a perfect set this weekend - hopefully will make up for bluddy Turkey stuffing me up in midweek.
Brum and Spurs wins will put me top of the FISO league I think. :)

Good going reds.
That's 3pts from Birmingham in the bag, just Spurs to go now.
The toon let me down, still a Spurs win will give me 18pts. 8-)

Am I not allowed to play my game in hand with gameweek 10 fixtures? On the submission form form it says to pick from "one set only".

Dunno, but I've noticed that notice before with previous early bonus matchdays like this. However I wonder if you wait until after the MD9 deadline, then the MD10 selection form should return to the normal format and may remove this restriction?

You are correct reds.
Lip, yes you may pick an extra set (and anyone else for that matter) if you definately have a game in hand.
I put the 'one set only' notice on there to try and deter people from picking extra, because that early submission page will allow you pick from all 3 sets. Then if people pick more than they should I have to chase them down to ask which sets to delete.

6.21 average for Set 2 this week  And that with 42 people picking it! Normally such low averages happen in sets that only a handful of people go for.

There's at least one person got just 3 from it, and the best effort was a mere 10... so glad I went for the Euro set!

I was amazed so few picked from Set 2 as I thought the European games in Set 1 were far dodgier. I got 7 points....

Me too (on both points). Yet I was still the clear highest scorer in my division from that set (of five pickers).

I think some were probably caught out by the early deadline. That was part of my reason for not going with it, but still don't think it was a nice set at all - no big 3 bankers in the Premiership (can't call Arsenal a banker these days, especially away from home) and Championship games are a total lottery. Whereas I would have taken most of the home sides in the Euro set (though two have already lost!)

Could be going 7x crazy this week if Liverpool, Chelsea and Blackburn win tomorrow. I think there will be 70+ people claiming maximum points if these games go to form.

Think it's the first time I've picked the real Cloughie's Army (Burton Albion) and they obliged with three points!

Them Cloughies boys did me proud too. 8-)
I haven't checked the stats, but 70+ potential 7 timers

Scrolled down and saw I'd got a 28 8-) then saw all bar 4 of my league had. The only 4 who didn't were non-pickers!
