I agreed with this, so I decided to use my game in hand. I can't see there being such a good opportunity again before xmas.

However SET 1 scored me just 9 so far (2 to go), SET 2 got me 14 (1 to play). :(

Sadly the CL results haven't been brilliant, I thought we might've been in line for a few 7 timers. We badly need some wins for the Brits in the UEFA Cup games now.

We've had so many high-scoring sets so far this season, many of which didn't look that great on paper, I guess it had to happen that a couple of fairly straightforward looking CL sets would throw up a fair few shocks and draws...

Guess I shouldn't be disappointed with a 14 really, it's not going to cost you much in a matchday where there are no 7x.

I think our expectations are being raised by some profitable sets so far this season, a 15+ average is usually something special but well over half the teams have that at the moment! Expect before long there will be a run where the popular sets are low-scoring and a 14 or 15 is like gold dust...

Unfortunately this could be the disastrous set that is overdue... with home bankers Newcastle and Bolton losing today, if Chelsea and/or Arsenal slip up in away London derbies it could be a single figure set for many of us!

I was just going to quote your earlier post - I'm on just 6pts from 5 games.

Can't believe 9 got me through in the FA Cup  Was planning a sit-out next weekend given that Arsenal v Liverpool is on the fixture list...

All 10 of this weekends Set 1 games were either won or lost - 8 home wins and yet most of us struggled to get into double figures.

Phew! Am I glad I gave this set a miss. Had a gut feeling that we were due some odd results in the Premiership.

Well I am relieved Charlton won that penalty shoot-out, thought I was going to be 3 matches on the way to recording the first ever zero-pointer there

(Good to see Celtic letting down the Set 2 pickers anyway)

I'm having real problems with the site and can't get my submission in. It seems to have coincided with the addition of the clock on that page.

Looks like I'll miss out this week.

I've just added your selections, sorry about the problems with the site. I wasn't aware of any problems myself but I'll keep an eye on it re the clock.

Anyone having problems with the site can pm or email your picks to me and I'll see that they are added.

I've found the page with the clock on takes MUCH longer to load, but I've not had problems submitting selections.

Anyone else gone for set 3? I have terrible feelings about set 1 this week and set 2 looks impossible.

Didn't really get chance to study that set, but FA Cup could prove more profitable than the usual lower league ones (the replay set with all matches decided on the night might be worth looking out for).

Championship sets are always impossible at the moment, that division is an absolute lottery where anyone can beat anyone else!

I'm out of the FA Cup, so have left this week's fixtures well alone. Set 1 looks like it could either go really well, or badly, and after a 6 pointer last week, I need a few solid scores to avoid dropping out of the Premier.

Well just 12pts for me from Set 1 this weekend - slightly below average :( , it probably meant that those of you who were able to skip them were proved correct. The only thing you'll now have to consider is when's the best time to catch up, the Internationals normally produce decent scores, but this midweeks bunch are mainly friendlies so perhaps making them harder to predict.

Well as Nash forecast, the FA Cup set was the highest scoring! Pleased to get above average from set 1 anyway though.

Incidentally, this season seems to be going hat-trick crazy, I've picked up 4 of the bonus points already and we're not even half-way through!
