So there can only be winners or losers in the cup games? No draws?

Yep. I still recall Man City costing me 10 points by losing the last penalty shoot out. Sheep are more elephant like than goldfish like in that respect.

Well played murf 6 out of 6 is great going considering you avoided Palace.

Good luck with the Celtic game, I'm sure they'll come through for you.

Sorry about the downtime earlier, I have no idea what that was all about, but the site is back online now.

Sorry folks, it's been offline most of today, let's just say I'm not happy and I will be letting my hosts know with a rather 'colourful' email. Once again no warning or anything from them at all.

I usually pick every matchweek while I'm still in the cups but I'm 17 points above the cutoff in the midweek cup so I dont need to pick from the Icelandic Paperboys league in Set 8. Phew 8)

Someone else can have some glory at the top of the FISO league for a bit too...

Here is the reason given for yesterdays downtime from my webhosts:
We are aware of the downtime issues currently. A user had an application open on there account that was exploited and ended up crashing the server.
... and it took nearly 24hrs to rectify :? oh well, all seems ok again now.

Good luck all for the upcoming 'double weekend' Matchday 7 & 8.

Oh ... and just as a pre warning the League and Cup tables will be updated late on Sunday evening, as I am out for the big game either celebrating or (probably) drowning my sorrows. I'll be out with my old man who's a blue :?

Has anybody tried picking for this weeknd yet?

Its a nightmare!!!

The internationals looked dodgy so I looked at the league matches. All 20 matches have the home team playing a team a bit above them in the league. All potential draws.....

I went for the Internationals although there are some tough games to call, if I can get a score more than my average I'll be happy ... and an Adriano hat-trick is a certainty isn't it?
