Oooh ... nasty one for murf ... now is the time to get the prayer beads out, murf,
Dunno if Trampie has mastered this art form yet, but he rocks in the Prediction leagues ...

I wont call him a sheep sh*gger just yet, cos that would be distasteful ...
and a tad premature ... hang on, do I need to delete that ... the premature bit?

You might wonder who the hurler on the ditch is ... Yep, Mick MacPaddywack is sour grapes that he's not in the comp

Damn ... just checked our SuperBru League and the pair of ye are neck and neck after one round ...
my money might not be banked yet ...

Trampie got the 3rd highest score in rd1 so is favourite to beat me but who will we go for when England are at home to his rampant Welsh?

All about this first game (thanks to some tactical picking???) so I'm hoping the Irish keep the pressure on. 21 up after 33 minutes - need it to get to 32.

Ireland win by a healthy 37 (and I relaxxxxx).

England 12 up already but it is only the margin that matters as everyone backed England. A bit more variation tomorrow with a few French pickers amongst the Scotland fanciers. Probably a few ties on here that will depend merely on who wins that.

I'm firmly in the Scotland camp and my opponent (Bluenosey) is not so if France win I'm doomed. Bit worried as I had Scotland last week and we all know how that went.

Mind you as far as Bluenosey and myself are concerned the really important match up takes place at Villa Park tomorrow.

Same situation here, myself and MVL have 91 & 92 points after the first 2 games ....

I have France, MVL has Scotland so it's a straight knockout

SECOND ROUND RESULTS

murf 155 v 147 trampie
Rookster 135 v 141 Arabian Knight
TheBigLewandowski 103 v 116 jimmy ching
Spinynorman 163 v 120 bluenosey
nffc 115 v 122 Windy Behind
Moist von Lipwig 139 v 124 brencarr
Boddington 141 v 111 robot
Minitoff 147 v 139 morganb

Commiserations to out highest scoring away picker, trampie, who goes out with 147. Spinynorman top scores with 163 thanks to 2 exact results. He is making a habit of coming back from a dodgy first game. Our two jammy dodgers are jimmy ching and Windy Behind, through with just 116 and 122 respectively as their opponents also picked Scotland to lose.

(in detail if you can decipher it)
(home team shows 3 picks then 3 scores then total. away team same but in reverse)
murf 35 6 3 48 60 47 155 v 147 40 60 47 27 6 3 trampie
Rookster 28 9 3 41 47 47 135 v 141 46 46 49 33 10 7 Arabian Knight
TheBigLewandowski 30 15 -15 43 41 19 103 v 116 37 47 32 24 9 -2 jimmy ching
Spinynorman 30 6 6 43 60 60 163 v 120 48 45 27 35 11 -7 bluenosey
nffc 32 8 -12 45 48 22 115 v 122 46 47 29 33 9 -5 Windy Behind
Moist von Lipwig 30 7 3 43 49 47 139 v 124 47 44 33 34 12 -1 brencarr
Boddington 35 10 3 48 46 47 141 v 111 45 47 19 32 3 -15 robot
Minitoff 28 10 6 41 46 60 147 v 139 46 44 49 33 12 5 morganb

QF Draw soon but no games next weekend as the egg chasers need a week off. Wimps.

All about this first game (thanks to some tactical picking???) so I'm hoping the Irish keep the pressure on. 21 up after 33 minutes - need it to get to 32.
I was about to call 'foul' as I couldn't see your picks when I made my selections but now notice it was hidden on the first post, lol.
So no, no tactical picking by me.

Anglo Saxon New Zealander tmo, if it was a Maori or Aborigine or Celt, Wales would have won.
Its always the same with England, they put 16 men on the pitch and they give them a World cup, their home World cup in the round ball game was called the robbery of the century, with my boys we play in two WC semi's and get straight red cards in both and in the round ball game the one we don't enter we would have won.

When making predictions you have to factor the pull England have, that is a tip for you Mick MacPaddywack.
