with Cardiff awaiting Juventus & Real on 3rd June, the new thread is in place for next season. Arsenal will be absent from the UK's lineup but Liverpool Chelsea and Man Utd return. Which of them will be 'splashing the cash' over the next few weeks ?

a busy day by Lake Geneva with lots of Scottish, Welsh and Irish involvement. The road to Kiev and Lyon is now open with the first matches next week.

the road to Kiev opened in Oswestry this week plus 4 other outposts. Not a lot of goals but no draws in the results. Lyon's Europa turn next week.

disaster for Rangers in the Europa but extra time success for The New Saints in the CL. Celtic take the stage next week.

it's Linfield v Celtic in the second qualifying round (first leg) this week and Liverpool go into the draw on Friday 14th. Interest bubbling up at Anfield ?

this week's Europa action features Everton at home to Ruzomberek of Slovakia and Aberdeen entertain Apollon of Cyprus. Will the Rooney man make an appearance ?

Rooney man appeared on TV for the Toffees against Ruzomberok of Slovakia and Baines goal gave them an edge to take to Slovakia next week. Aberdeen won 2-1 v Apollon of Cyprus.
In the Champions League Celtic failed to score at home and will probably struggle to progress against Rosenbourg of Norway

Celtic make it to the play off round after a 1-0 win in Norway. The big jamboree in Monaco for the Group stage draw coming later this month.

both Liiverpool and Everton have to get through games against German Hoffenheim and Croatian Hajduk Split respectively before the Group Stage draw in Monaco 24/25 August.
The Goals Galore comp will run again this season and there will be a cash prize providing at least 16 FISOers join in.

the final step before the Group Stages in both Champions & Europa. Liverpool & Everton both in action, the Reds away in Germany ansd the Toffees in Croatia. Celtic at home to Astana. It is the Monaco early weekend on 24th and 25th August for the Group Stage draws. Get ready to enter our Goals Galore comp, just the same as last season but hopefully with a sronger FISO entry list.

its GOALS GALORE for 5 goal Celtic at home to Astana and noarrower wins for the Liverpool duo. Liverpool Away 2-1 and Everton home to Hajduk Split (Croatia) 2-0. The Monaco sraw is next week. Watch this space !

this is a quick response so that Maldini can see that I began this thread on 31st May just before last seasons final match on 3rd June following the previous one the road to Cardiff and Stockholm. It does seem that TFF is very much a minor player against the other 3 major playersin FISO circles and in any case the TFF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE had not been heard of until a few weeks ago. I just used the initial post to make people aware of the new comp. TFF season ticket holders will be informed by the Tele and this thread will carry the torch to get a decent entry hopefully from FISO readers of all persuasions.

after their 5-0 home win against Astana the game in Kazakhstan was an altogether different story, losing 4-3 but qualifying for Thursday's draw. Now it is up to Liverpool to deliver and claim a place at the Monaco table for the Group Stages. The Europa draw will be on Friday and details of GOALS GALORE will appear here on Saturday.

the Monaco 'jolly' has been completed and all 80 teams know who their opposition is for the 6 matches leading up to Christmas. Choose your 8 teams to score lots of goals and forecast who will be playing in the 2 final games in May. I have pm'd robot to hope he will open proceedings and encourage a decent entry. There will be a cash reward providing there are at least 20 FISOers 'having a go' by the time of the first matches 12th September.
