Was going to punt for Sheffield Utd as I am currently running a team in our Sheffield office (as well as Manchester) while we recruit for that role.

But as I see the rules have relaxed a little I'll go for Millwall as I went there once and sung about how shit they were!!!

I'll add the kickoff times for all matches later in the second post, but for now:

First match kicks off this Friday:
Salford City v Notts County

Most of the other matches will be played on 7th and 8th November (Saturday and Friday).

On 9th November:
FC United of Manchester v Chesterfield

Fixture list has been updated in the second post - I added the days and times when each match will be played (please correct me if you see any mistakes, I took the kickoff times from soccerway)

Plenty of teams that haven't been picked yet, hopefully we will get some more participants until the weekend

! Remember that the deadline for picking is when the particular match kicks off!

Is it better to go out at some random point half-way through a competition, or to be first to go out?

Yes, we all want to win, but deep-down I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that there's a certain something in being the worst. 4 years ago I came bottom in the world on the Fantasy Wimbledon competition run by Tennis-for-free and it was utterly brilliant. It was a real release from the hassle of trying to win and very therapeutic.

On to the next competition.

I make a habit of finishing mid table in all comps but did once win Tennis For Free's Oz Open. Which was nice.

Maybe that is an omen as you came last in that and this and I will win this. I did also live in Salford once.
