How on earth am I supposed to cheat?

I had forgotten that I had fluked qualification tbh, and you actually know about egg-chasing?

Ireland 10
England 10
France 10

I am happy leaving it at that, as it means Ireland win and I go through and Wales win and you do?

Mick MacPaddywack v topspur - dead level so far! MMP just ahead on tie-break so wins if France win by 13 or more

barry v Shaggy365 - barry moves into a 2pt lead and they are only 1 apart tomorrow so Shaggy365 is relying on an exact pick of a win by 19

Big Bird v murf - Big Bird has a 3pt lead but we are 5 apart tomorrow. I need a massive France win (21 or more) to haul it back

eagle224 v yorkshiredragon - two welsh pickers lucky enough to have drawn each other! yorkshire D goes 5 up and with the picks just 1 apart tomorrow eagle224 is another needing an exact pick - France by 18 just like Sp4

So-
3 already settled
3 needing an exact pick
2 fairly tense (inc mine) as there is a line in the sand that needs crossing or not crossing

Come on France

tactical predictions at their finest, I knew Ireland and England would win by more, but covered my bases. I also think Italy will give France a game tomorrow, I think France by 12 at most..... but good luck.

So Jimmy picks, I pick, then he waits until nearly kick off and changes his :? Not in the spirit of the game. I resign.

Snap. Even get my predictions quoted in my challengers pick.

Never mind. It's only a game. Still a chance I guess.

This is what I was hinting at with editing my post/blah cheating earlier. All I had to do was post to the most 'reasonable' side of blah's predictions. I was happy with Blah's suggestion of letting it all be down to the Wales game (heart over head and all that).

Its just for fun though as you say shaggy. Options might be to pm teams or hide the draw until kick off?

It is essentially a game of higher\lower, as Barry posted, which is why I suggested the Ireland\Wales thing: to save edits etc.

Although kinda Welsh, I heard a couple of things that made me think Ireland would win that one. Someone said Ireland looked the most impressive of the 4 last week, the other two don't count, which is why the next round is a tad tricky; and no-one has won it 3 times in a row, and this looked the most likely Welsh loss.

Wasn't there a rule about home teams posting first, with an earlier deadline, or am I confusing comps?

My feeling for Ireland changed during the week. I was tempted to go higher on them. Now you watch France win by 18.

There has never been any rules in this about who posts when, other than you can edit til first kick off. I for one have never looked at my opponent's picks until after I have made mine - gotta trust in yourelf or why play?

It does seem to be getting tactical so will all be by PM from now on as we are at an advanced stage.

Agree with you on both counts, Murf.
This is a prediction game primarily, and should be played in that spirit, without reference to others.
But if needs be, let's predict by PM.

Late converted Italian try makes our scores level I think murf. Haven't read rules regarding a draw.

Nice result. In the fantasy rugby my 3 French players were Fofana, Picamoles and Bonneval. So quite pleased with my guessing. Lucky, yep.
