Moderate rises this week. Reversed my Lacazette back to Aguero last night and also started the process of differentiating some teams by moving in a couple of Mendys for Robertson. 2 Jotas went to Shaw too.

Week 13

Holding week with early rises Saturday offset by falls in Sterling ( ) on Sunday. Transfers this week were to remove Hazard for Arnautovic (great fixtures until Jan) allowing some more Mendys to come in for Trippier/Pereyra who I prefer.

Bad week. Just the one transfer this week with Kane moving out for a Mane, Salah, Firmino combo for the imminent glut of goals v Fulham..... my idea is to pass on Kane's next 2 and bring him back for Aguero who has a tricky couple after Watford.

Week 16

And the decline continues despite transfers. Sterling is really killing these teams at the moment so the decision is whether to stay calm and sit it out or bite the bullet. Transfer activity this weekend was seeing Mendy get replaced by Laporte/Robertson (so much for differentiating my teams lol), a few Maddisons going to Jimenez main reason being formation flexibility, Shaw/Pereyra to Anderson for run of games.

Week 17

ANOTHER week. Mane gets two more games and then he is gone. More transfers this week with Kane coming back for Aguero. In the team below lost patience with Pereyra and upgraded to TAA. Team still looks strong but still going backwards. Current thinking below is (belatedly) jumping on the MC bandwagon with Mane going to Sterling on the 8th Dec and Firmino probably going for Arnautovic which leaves enough for Richarlison to Sane who is now cemented in the side, D Silva also on the radar, not sure which one to go for but a while yet to decide as I'll give Richarlison a bit longer. All very meh at the moment. Plus hadn't realised Aguero was injured and missed him not starting, in some teams I would have taken the opportunity to bring in Sterling and upgrade Coady to Anderson. That cost me 13 points.

Week 17a

Half way weekly update with small rises. Most Mane's and Arnautovic's replaced with Wilson, Sane and Aubameyang. 3 changes now planned for Saturday in the team below. Firmino and Mane OUT for Sterling and Aubameyang, annoyingly 0.1m short so decision is how to raise that and who will make way. Looking like Robertson (injury doubt and rotation risk) so Trippier (now has groin injury), Laporte and Anderson. The latter would give me enough to bring back Aguero so looks favourite.

Edit Robertson fit it seems. Hmmm maybe a keeper change is the best option. Just feels a wasted transfer. Could create a LFC 3 or go 2/2 with the CFC dude. Or Pickford and save enough to get Aguero back. Decisions.

EdIt 2 Bennett at 2.3 is an option to replace Coady.

Week 18

So long term leader in my SL has changed hands as Wifey takes over at the top and is she happy about it. Our joint team is also going very nicely with my two teams 12 and 27 points behind so we have all our 4 teams in the top 7.

3 changes in the team below as shown, loathe to do a keeper change but think it was the best way to get the 0.1m needed and that transfer earned pretty much the same as the two "must haves" I wanted in my team lol Team looks well set up for the coming weeks and has 25t left so healthy for me at this stage of the season.

Small rises in my teams this week but still not really going anywhere, it's s a frustrating season.

Week 21 NEW YEAR

Another stagnant week with the inevitable curing of Liverpool's clean sheet after bringing in more defenders. Also moved in a few more Andersons in time for his blank v Burnley and Hazard. Hofeckinghum. Next moves will probably look to bring in Pogba (train departed) and Doherty for Alonso and Maddison/Trippier. Couple of Sane's can be switched.

Week 22

Feels like I'm stuck in quicksand this year, I just cannot get these teams moving upwards. Was tempted by the FA Cup opportunities but largely ignored everything. Got drawn in by Lukaku below and now stuck with him, probably should have daisy chained him on but my preferred picks didn't play. Did a Hazard to Sterling and an Anderson to Luiz. Current best team is just 12 points behind the leader so is probably my best bet of catching the leader rather than the team below. That team is Alisson, Robertson, TAA, Alonso, Luis, Coady, Salah, Sterling, Maddison, Kane, Aubameyang. 49.9m.

Same here with my teams but been relatively quiet on the transfer button this week.

Just only replaced Kane with Aubameyang and brought in a few Southampton players in Redmond and Ward Prowse mid week in my teams before the Saints got knocked out in the FA cup by my home town team. Really impressed by the new Saints manager even though I know nothing about him. Both Redmond and Ward Prowse good players hopefully the new manager can get the best out of them.

Pretty much my focus now is in winning this SL with 4 of the top 5 positions. My wife is currently on top (ooo err) and with 17t left in great shape and has Aguero.
