Martinez 3.3
TAA 5.6
Saiss 2.9
Walker-Peters 2.8
Basham 2.8
Salah 6.8
Soucek 3.0
Saka 3.1
Auba 7.0
Werner 5.6
Vardy 6.9
Total £49.8m
Would see how the big-hitters in here get on for their first couple of games with a plan to then switch a couple to Man City / Man Utd e.g. Vardy to Bruno/Martial and Auba/Salah to KDB/Aguero
If Martinez and Saka don't start the first match (its the first game on 12th) I'll have replacements line-up e.g. Ramsdale and Armstrong
Have found the lack of the 5-3-2 option a pain - would have liked Robertson (LIV) over Werner to start, so may have to look at a 5-4-1 starting option
Thoughts?
Rate my draft 4-3-3 starting XI

Re: Rate my draft 4-3-3 starting XI
I like the strategy of having a look at the first few games before bringing in the Manchester players. I think I'd go Kane over Vardy - long term EL will knacker Spurs but in the first few weeks they'll probably be sharper for regular competitive games.
I've seen Martinez in a few threads and I think it's a mistake unless you're happy to use a transfer down the line. With keepers I like to try and go for a season long choice...even if it rarely seems to work out that way.

Can't see anything wrong with that team, and not sure you need much help with your track record! Like Darbyand, it's just personal preference around a few players.Buster wrote: ↑31 Aug 2020, 13:02 Martinez 3.3

My initial draft is 5-4-1, as there's usually more value in defence, but if you're keen on keeping both Auba and Vardy, and want Robertson over Werner, then 4-4-2 still seems a viable option, and at least offers a bit more flexibility when you come to rotate your big-hitters.
If you do go with two up front, then unless Wolves sign someone as extra cover for Jonny's injury, Vinagre for Saiss would free up a bit more money to switch either KWP or Basham to any sub £4m midfielder, assuming there's one that takes your fancy.
